00:00:00
Republicans could lose their majority in
00:00:02
the House of Representatives before the
00:00:05
midterm elections. Magamike would lose
00:00:08
his speakership and the Democrats could
00:00:10
come into power. Let me repeat that one
00:00:12
more time. It is possible that
00:00:15
Republicans could lose their majority in
00:00:17
the House of Representatives before the
00:00:20
midterm elections. Let me explain. So,
00:00:23
we all know that on Friday, Marjgerie
00:00:25
Taylor Green resigned her seat from the
00:00:29
House of Representatives effective early
00:00:31
January of 2026.
00:00:34
We also know that there will be a
00:00:37
special election in Tennessee's seventh
00:00:39
congressional district in just a few
00:00:41
weeks between the Democratic candidate
00:00:44
state representative in Tennessee uh
00:00:47
Afton Bane and she's running against the
00:00:49
MAGA Republican candidate Matt Vaneps.
00:00:53
Tennessee's congressional district
00:00:55
number seven was a plus 22 district in
00:00:59
2024. The MAGA Republican Congress
00:01:01
member Mark Green resigned his seat
00:01:04
essentially effective right away and so
00:01:07
it was expected that this would be a
00:01:09
very safe seat for the MAGA Republicans.
00:01:12
However, based on the trends that we saw
00:01:15
in early November, it is possible that
00:01:17
Democrats could overcome that 22 uh
00:01:22
point advantage that MAGA had in 2024
00:01:25
over this seat. Democrats are pouring a
00:01:28
lot of money into Tennessee's seventh
00:01:30
congressional district to support Afton
00:01:33
Bane in that election that is coming up.
00:01:36
A few other things would need to happen
00:01:38
as well. There would need to be some
00:01:40
other resignations of MAGA Republican
00:01:42
Congress members. Who could that
00:01:44
potentially be? Well, MAGA Republican
00:01:47
Congresswoman Victoria Spars of Indiana,
00:01:51
she posted, "Unfortunately, there's a
00:01:53
lot of truth to what Marjorie Taylor
00:01:55
Green had to say when she resigned. I
00:01:58
can't blame her for leaving this
00:02:00
institution that has betrayed the
00:02:03
American people. Will Victoria Spart
00:02:06
resign? And is it possible that one
00:02:09
other MAGAR Republican Congress member
00:02:11
will resign early? the so-called
00:02:14
centrist MAGA Republicans who I don't
00:02:16
think are centrist at all like Congress
00:02:19
member Bacon, they are planning to
00:02:22
resign at the end of their term.
00:02:25
However, could they be convinced to
00:02:27
resign earlier? If there's just a few
00:02:29
more resignations, we will see the
00:02:32
Democrats take control potentially
00:02:34
before the midterms if Marjorie Taylor
00:02:37
Green's resignation is a sign of more
00:02:40
resignations to come, especially as
00:02:42
these Republican Congress members don't
00:02:45
want to be part of the group that covers
00:02:47
up child sex trafficking rings. not a
00:02:50
great thing to put on your resume if you
00:02:53
want to have a career ahead of you doing
00:02:56
other things other than being a Donald
00:02:58
Trump sickophant. So just take a look at
00:03:01
how Lisa DJardens describes the
00:03:04
situation. She goes, "Folks, Marjorie
00:03:06
Taylor Green just cranked up the stakes
00:03:09
in Tennessee's 7th special election
00:03:12
that's scheduled for December 2nd." So
00:03:15
right now the dynamic in the House is
00:03:17
219 Republicans to 213 Democrats.
00:03:22
Marjgerie Taylor Green says she's
00:03:24
leaving early January of 2026. So that
00:03:27
brings it to 218 to 213. Let's say the
00:03:32
Democrats win Tennessee and pull an
00:03:35
upset. Then you'll have 218 to 214.
00:03:39
There will then be a Texas 18 special
00:03:42
election that will be coming up January
00:03:45
31st. That will be 218 to 215. Then on
00:03:50
April 16th, if Democrats hold the New
00:03:53
Jersey 11 special election, which they
00:03:55
are expected to do, you have 218 to 216.
00:04:00
Therefore, we just need one or two more
00:04:03
resignations because as of April 16th,
00:04:06
there could be a zero vote margin. So,
00:04:09
if anybody else leaves now, whether it's
00:04:12
Victoria Spars and one other person or
00:04:14
whoever, that means the Democrats have a
00:04:17
chance of taking over the House before
00:04:20
the midterms even takes place. And
00:04:22
regardless, it makes things even closer
00:04:25
though before the midterm elections. um
00:04:29
in terms of the balance of power as of
00:04:32
right now. So, as I mentioned, Democrats
00:04:35
are pouring money into the congressional
00:04:37
district. The House Majority Pack group
00:04:41
aligned with Democratic leader Hakee
00:04:44
Jeff. They are placing lots of ad spend
00:04:47
in Tennessee. 7th House Majority Pack
00:04:50
515,000,
00:04:52
Afton Baines buying 214,000
00:04:55
compared to MAGA Inc. reserving 40,000.
00:04:58
In terms of aired special general
00:05:00
election spending, we're talking about
00:05:02
still a slight advantage of Republican
00:05:04
to Democrat there, but future linear
00:05:06
reservations, we're seeing Democrats
00:05:09
lead there. So, Democrats are pouring
00:05:10
millions and millions of dollars into
00:05:13
Tennessee 7th. Why? Because Democrats
00:05:16
see a potential path right now to taking
00:05:19
the majority um before the midterms. Let
00:05:23
me remind you of what Magga Mike Johnson
00:05:26
said recently after the Republicans were
00:05:29
wiped out in the blue tsunami elections
00:05:32
that were earlier this month. Magga Mike
00:05:35
said the following about losing the
00:05:37
majority. Here, play this clip. The
00:05:39
president is on the ballot in 2026. the
00:05:42
President Trump is on the ballot next
00:05:43
fall because if we lose the majority, if
00:05:46
the Republicans, the common sense people
00:05:48
here who are doing the job for the
00:05:49
American people, if we lose the majority
00:05:51
in the House and this radical element of
00:05:53
the Democratic party were were able to
00:05:55
take over, we've already seen that
00:05:57
movie. They will try to end the Trump
00:05:59
administration. He won't have four
00:06:00
years. He'll have only two because they
00:06:02
will move to impeach him probably on the
00:06:04
first day of the new Congress in January
00:06:05
2027. and they will try to
00:06:07
systematically unwind all the important
00:06:09
reforms that we've done for the American
00:06:11
people to lower cost to have a better
00:06:13
quality of living on health care to
00:06:15
increase access and quality of care. We
00:06:17
are the party that is doing that and the
00:06:19
president needs four years to complete
00:06:21
his agenda, not just two. So, he is in a
00:06:23
very real sense on the ballot. He's
00:06:25
fiercely committed to us winning. He is
00:06:27
going to help. He's he's offered to do
00:06:28
rallies and the telet town halls and all
00:06:30
the things. Um he's he's uh sent out a a
00:06:33
huge round of endorsements of
00:06:35
incumbents, Republican incumbents over
00:06:36
just over the last few days. He is very
00:06:39
much engaged, very dialed in, and he
00:06:41
understands the stakes. President Trump
00:06:42
is on the ballot in 2026, and we're
00:06:44
looking forward to that contest. And
00:06:46
then once again, when Maggamike was
00:06:48
recently on uh state regime media known
00:06:51
as Fox, here is what he said. Play this
00:06:54
clip. >> But you were up against a fierce
00:06:57
opponent, fierce opposition, and same
00:06:59
with their courts.
00:07:01
I I fear greatly, we can't win every
00:07:04
election. I fear greatly whether it's 5
00:07:06
years, 10 years, 12 years from now, if
00:07:09
they take one chamber or they take the
00:07:11
presidency that they will try to unravel
00:07:14
everything that we're doing here. And
00:07:15
it's kind of hard to stop them, right?
00:07:18
>> Well, absolutely. I mean, everything is
00:07:20
on the line in the midterm election in
00:07:21
2026. Is why I keep highlighting the
00:07:24
importance of that because remember,
00:07:25
there's only twice in 90 years that a
00:07:27
sitting president has picked up seats
00:07:29
for his party in the House, for example,
00:07:31
in that first two-year cycle after he's
00:07:32
elected. Uh, but we must do it. We must
00:07:35
defy history and do that this time
00:07:37
because if the Democrats, the radical
00:07:39
woke progressive Marxist Democrats were
00:07:41
able to take the majority in the House
00:07:43
of Representatives, they would impeach
00:07:45
President Trump on the first day of that
00:07:46
Congress. I don't think there's any
00:07:47
doubt about that. Early January of 2027
00:07:50
and it would descend again into chaos.
00:07:52
They abuse their power as they did in
00:07:54
the last time. We will resort again to
00:07:56
lawfare and all the abuses. Um it will
00:07:59
be a disaster for the country. And so
00:08:00
this is about much more than than
00:08:02
politics. It's it's about the founding
00:08:05
principles of the country.
00:08:06
>> Ever have one of those days where you're
00:08:08
juggling a thousand things and by the
00:08:09
time the sun goes down, the last thing
00:08:11
you want is a hangover the next morning?
00:08:13
Same here. That's why I've started
00:08:15
reaching for Willy's THC infused social
00:08:17

00:08:19
just need to unwind without the regrets
00:08:22
for me. Willies is the perfect weekday

alcohol alternative. Whether I'm

course, it's got that chill, peaceful

energy built in. It's low calorie, low
00:08:49
sugar, comes in 5 mg or 10 mgram doses,

Willys helps you relax, unwind, and

00:09:46
uh former vice president Kla Harris. She
00:09:49
showed up in Tennessee. First, let me
00:09:51
show you the crowd that greeted her. She
00:09:53
was greeted like a rock star when she
00:09:55
arrived in Tennessee to support Afton
00:09:58
Bane. Play this clip
00:10:02
right here.
00:10:08
And here she is. Here's former Vice
00:10:10
President Kla Harris in the speech that
00:10:12
she gave in Tennessee's seventh
00:10:14
congressional district. Play this clip.
00:10:16
>> Don't let anyone ever take your power or
00:10:18
your votes voice from you.
00:10:21
>> You tell people what you want. You don't
00:10:23
let anybody tell you who you are. You
00:10:25
tell them who you are.
00:10:30
>> And that includes at election time. This
00:10:33
election is 14 days from today. Today is
00:10:35
Tuesday. >> Yeah. It's two weeks from now.
00:10:38
>> And you know, I've been in elected
00:10:40
office long enough to know that when
00:10:43
people start deciding who am I going to
00:10:45
listen to, and I'm going to speak truth
00:10:47
right here.
00:10:48
>> This is real talk. They're going to look
00:10:50
at two groups of people. Who's writing
00:10:52
the checks and who's voting?
00:10:56
>> So, let's make sure that they understand
00:10:59
we vote.
00:11:00
>> That's right. AND THEY NEED TO COME HERE
00:11:02
>> and they need to listen
00:11:04
>> and they need to interact and they need
00:11:06
to understand
00:11:08
>> and one of the ways that you demand that
00:11:10
is you show because you know what I vote
00:11:14
>> and if you don't respond to my needs I'm
00:11:16
not voting for you
00:11:19
>> where the leadership from the ground
00:11:21
from the neighborhood from the community
00:11:24
matters more than ever there are some
00:11:26
powerful forces that are trying to
00:11:28
suggest that folks are alone and without
00:11:31
power,
00:11:32
>> powerful forces that are trying to
00:11:34
divide us and to tell folks that they
00:11:36
don't matter and their needs don't
00:11:37
matter.
00:11:39
>> Well, we need to let them hear our voice
00:11:42
>> and let them know that they're going to
00:11:44
have to be responsive. This is a moment
00:11:46
where we reclaim
00:11:49
this our country. It is our country.
00:11:51
It's not somebody else's. It is our
00:11:54
country. And one of the best ways we
00:11:56
show that we are clear about that is we
00:11:59
vote. And that's why I'm here this
00:12:01
afternoon to talk with all the leaders
00:12:03
who are here. And there are people you
00:12:06
will never meet, who may never know your
00:12:08
name,
00:12:09
>> but because of your activism, because of
00:12:12
what you will do over the next two weeks
00:12:14
as a marker for what you will continue
00:12:17
to do is going to have an impact on so
00:12:20
many people around our country. So, I
00:12:22
thank you in advance for being active.
00:12:25
This is about you. This is about your
00:12:28
future. This is about your country. This
00:12:30
is about your power. And who is the
00:12:32
power with?
00:12:34
>> All right.
00:12:35
>> Now, last week I had State
00:12:38
Representative Aftton Bane on the Midas
00:12:40
Touch Network. Um here's what she told
00:12:43
me about Tennessee. Here, play this
00:12:45
clip. >> Well, first I just I want to say thank
00:12:47
you for recognizing that Tennessee is a
00:12:49
beautiful place and um there are people
00:12:52
that are trying to do good work here.
00:12:54
Um, we have some of the best organizers
00:12:55
in the country because we have to
00:12:57
operate under incredibly oppressive
00:12:58
circumstances. Um, and I think my
00:13:00
biggest pet peeve in politics is when
00:13:02
people who don't live in the south say,
00:13:04
"You get what you voted for because this
00:13:06
is not what I voted for. I didn't vote
00:13:08
for the highest maternal mortality rate
00:13:10
in the country. I didn't vote for the
00:13:11
most dangerous place for workers in the
00:13:13
country. I didn't vote for the highest
00:13:15
inflationary cost of groceries in the
00:13:16
country." Um, but that is what 15 years
00:13:19
of Republican supermajority rule the
00:13:21
state has done. Um Tennessee has been
00:13:23
bought and sold to the highest bidder
00:13:24
and those are multinational corporations
00:13:26
in the billionaire boys club. Um there
00:13:29
are no checks and balances and um what
00:13:31
we are seeing right now is a rupture in
00:13:34
their paradigm because they have ruled
00:13:36
as you said with an iron fist um and
00:13:39
have squaltched dissent uh and
00:13:42
dissonance and I think they're seeing
00:13:44
the um now we're seeing the kind of
00:13:46
rumblings the simmering of perhaps a
00:13:49
different paradigm. One is what one of
00:13:51
which is um you know economic populism
00:13:54
and ensuring that the real villains are
00:13:56
painted as the billionaire boys club and
00:13:58
these greedy corporations that are make
00:14:00
that are pitting us against each other
00:14:01
um as we fight and not delivering for
00:14:04
for the Tennessee people.
00:14:05
>> Now I also had the chair of the DC
00:14:10
Congresswoman Dell Benny. That's the
00:14:12
Democratic Congressional Campaign
00:14:13
Committee. Congresswoman Dell Benny.
00:14:15
Here is what she told me about uh the
00:14:19
future races and kind of the status of
00:14:22
the map right now. Play this clip. There
00:14:24
seems to be momentum. Trump's approval
00:14:26
seems to be plummeting. When you and I
00:14:28
last spoke, it was before the elections
00:14:31
earlier in November, which seemed to be
00:14:33
a resounding repudiation of Trump and
00:14:36
MAGA, but they seem to be doubling down.
00:14:38
Congresswoman, what do you make of it
00:14:39
all? Well, it was a resounding
00:14:41
repudiation and also a testament to what
00:14:44
happens when you have great candidates
00:14:47
who are talking about the issues that
00:14:49
matter and are want to serve to help
00:14:52
their communities. People want folks who
00:14:54
are going to fight for them and we great
00:14:57
folks all across the country who were
00:15:00
focused on the issues that matter to the
00:15:01
American people. Um, folks are rejecting
00:15:04
Republicans and the Trump agenda. It has
00:15:07
been damaging. It has raised costs for
00:15:09
families across the country. Food,
00:15:12
housing, health care, child care, energy
00:15:14
costs, all going up. And Trump and
00:15:17
Republicans promised to lower costs on
00:15:19
day one. It's a big broken promise. And
00:15:22
they don't even care. They're not even
00:15:24
talking about it. Here we are. U finally
00:15:27
the House is open again. Um and we're
00:15:30
not doing any legislation to help lower
00:15:32
costs for families. It's not a priority
00:15:34
for them. Um, but we're going to
00:15:37
continue to hold them accountable uh
00:15:39
because the American people want folks
00:15:40
who are going to work for them.
00:15:41
>> So indeed, Marjorie Taylor Green's
00:15:43
resignation carries with it far more
00:15:45
wide reaching implications than just her
00:15:48
resigning. And I think she knew that
00:15:50
this would also screw over Magga Mike
00:15:53
Johnson and the Republicans in the
00:15:55
House. Now, you may be asking, well,
00:15:58
when does that seat get replaced? Well,
00:16:00
we'll see. Potentially middle later next
00:16:02
year as well. There'll have to be a
00:16:04
special election then and that process
00:16:07
can take some time. So the question is
00:16:10
could Democrats now make the inroads
00:16:12
that they need to make? They should win
00:16:14
the special election in Texas. They
00:16:16
should win the special election in New
00:16:18
Jersey. The Tennessee 7th is going to be
00:16:21
difficult. Let's have one or two more
00:16:23
resignations of Republicans. Abrupt
00:16:26
resignations. Allah Marjgery Taylor
00:16:28
Green. You know, you you see these MAGAS
00:16:31
don't want to be affiliated with
00:16:32
covering up this child sex trafficking
00:16:34
ring now. And there you possibly have
00:16:36
it. Regardless of whether Democrats can
00:16:39
take the majority uh in, you know,
00:16:41
before the midterms, I think Democrats
00:16:44
are focused on certainly flipping the
00:16:46
House in the midterms. Um and then we
00:16:49
get a lot of oversight. I just want you
00:16:51
to visualize what uh 2027 and 2028 can
00:16:55
look like. And you see how terrified
00:16:57
MAGA Mike is. visualize it. Um because
00:17:00
what we can have here is tons of
00:17:03
hearings on all of the Trump crimes and
00:17:06
corruption. Um their coverups and more.
