which the SAS vehemently denies and00:01:09
we're very proud of all of our armed00:01:10
forces in this country. But it's a stark00:01:13
reminder that Afghanistan was plunged00:01:15
into sheer hell by the war on terror. At00:01:18
least 46,000 civilians were killed in00:01:20
that war. The real total likely to be00:01:22
much higher. Hundreds of thousands of00:01:24
Afghans worked with the United States00:01:26
and the British forces, risking00:01:28
execution by the Taliban. As a final00:01:30
insult to injury, the withdrawal of US00:01:33
forces under President Biden was a00:01:34
complete humiliating disaster. That's00:01:37
the context for why many Afghans were00:01:39
allowed to move to the United States and00:01:41
to the UK. And the context is important.00:01:44
Tragically, one of those Afghans, a00:01:46
29year-old man who had worked with the00:01:48
CIA, shot two National Guard members in00:01:51
DC on the eve of Thanksgiving, killing00:01:53
one and severely injuring the other. A00:01:56
visibly angry President Trump blamed the00:01:58
Biden administration.00:01:59

exactly that scenario. UK officials had00:02:52
accidentally outed them, endangering00:02:54
entire families, and the whole thing was00:02:56
shamefully covered up. But once the00:02:57
mistake was exposed, what choice did00:02:59
Britain have? The issue surely is not00:03:01
the principle of helping Afghans who00:03:03
served our forces, but the way it's been00:03:05
done. This was Biden's Homeland Security00:03:07

national guardsman who's still fighting00:04:37
for his life. And I'm praying for00:04:38
Sarah's family. It's devastating. these00:04:41
soldiers volunteered their lives to00:04:43
protect our country uh shot uh one00:04:46
murdered, assassinated, the other one00:04:48
fighting for his life right now. Uh the00:04:50
second thing that I want to say is that00:04:52
I believe President Biden created this00:04:54
problem and Donald Trump, President00:04:56
Trump is the one cleaning it up. Uh I00:04:59
agree with the president to go back and00:05:01
vet those individuals that came over00:05:03
here from countries of concern because00:05:06
from what we're learning now, the00:05:07
vetting wasn't what it was supposed to00:05:09
be. It's deeply concerning. I also00:05:11
support President Trump in pausing uh00:05:14
the immigration from for individuals00:05:17
that are coming from countries of00:05:19
concern. And thank God President Trump00:05:20
got elected because he shut the border00:05:22
down. We know that under four years of00:05:24
President Biden, our southern border was00:05:26
wide open. We had hundreds of potential00:05:28
terrorists coming through the southern00:05:29
border every single year on the00:05:31
terrorist watch list. And these are the00:05:33
kinds of things that we have to be very00:05:35
vigilant about.00:05:38
The problem uh with all this is not that00:05:41
uh Rammanula Lamwal the uh killer became00:05:46
a terrorist and committed an act of00:05:47
terror against these two national guard00:05:50
members. Um the problem is that prior to00:05:53
that he would have been categorized as00:05:55
somebody who'd been quite heroic working00:05:58
for the United States as part of a00:06:00
secret unit of Afghans hunting down the00:06:03
Taliban under CIA direction often in00:06:06
highly dangerous missions. Uh they were00:06:08
members of what was called the Zero00:06:10
units. Uh they were among the most00:06:13
extensively vetted of any of the Afghans00:06:15
who work with American forces. The CIA00:06:18
hailed their bravery, their skill, their00:06:20
loyalty, and the agency prioritized00:06:23
their evacuation from Afghanistan00:06:25
following the fall of Kabul in 202100:06:27
because they were prime targets for the00:06:29
Taliban. So when you take everything in00:06:31
totality, obviously this uh character,00:06:35
the Canwell has gone crazy and has00:06:38
committed a despicable act. I guess my00:06:40
question for you is given the background00:06:43
of him and people like him who were00:06:45
risking their life on behalf of the00:06:47
United States, this adds a complexity to00:06:50
the story, doesn't it?00:06:52

information about this individual. And I00:07:21
would I would debate you on the problem00:07:24
isn't that he shot the guardsman. It is00:07:26
the problem. I mean, he literally just00:07:28
murdered a young woman uh Friday. She00:07:32
died and passed away. Sarah died and00:07:33
passed away on Friday. So, that is the00:07:35
crux of the problem. He came into our00:07:36
country. He murdered No. Sure. Don't00:07:38
don't get me wrong. No, sorry. Just to00:07:40
be clear, I I completely concur with you00:07:42
about that. There's nothing about what00:07:43
he did that is anything other than a00:07:45
despicable act of terrorism and and00:07:47
should be treated accordingly. I just00:07:49
think the complexity is in the way00:07:51
America now responds with all the other00:07:53
Afghan soldiers for example or00:07:56
translators, interpreters and so on who00:07:58
came back after serving on behalf of the00:08:03
United States. That is the complexity of00:08:05
the bigger picture. Well, that's where I00:08:08
want to see the DOJ and other agencies,00:08:10
DHS and others explain how this00:08:13
individual was vetted. What information00:08:15
did we have? Was he vetted? Were there00:08:17
signs prior so that we can improve the00:08:19
vetting process going forward as well.00:08:21
And look, the president has said he00:08:23
wants to go back and vet all these00:08:24
individuals. And I support him. It's00:08:26
going to be a long and arduous process,00:08:29
but we have to do that for the safety of00:08:31
American lives. And I fully support00:08:33
that. I think there's something to be00:08:34
learned from this experience as well. I00:08:36
mean the lesson it seems to me that00:08:38
could be most acutely learned from this00:08:40
is that he appears to have been00:08:43
suffering increasing problems in his00:08:47
life. One email cited by the Associated00:08:50
Press warned that Ramman Lula has not00:08:52
been functional as a person, father and00:08:54
provider of March last year. He quit his00:08:57
job. He shut himself in a darkened room00:08:59
for days. He stopped responding even to00:09:01
his wife and older children. Should the00:09:05
United States government when they bring00:09:07
people like this person back to the00:09:10
United States, albeit for00:09:12
well-intentioned reasons, yes, they00:09:14
should be properly vetted obviously, but00:09:16
as we know from homegrown incidents00:09:19
involving American citizens who served00:09:22
and then go crazy, as we've seen in the00:09:24
UK, uh similar stories where perfectly00:09:27
decent, upstanding members of the armed00:09:29
forces go mad and commit terrible acts.00:09:31
It can happen particularly if they've00:09:33
been to war.00:09:35
Yes, they should be properly vetted. But00:09:37
should there be an ongoing process of00:09:39
duty of care, stroke vetting that00:09:42
continues that flags up people like this00:09:45
who are clearly beginning to00:09:47
disintegrate in their lives?00:09:49

mental health issues there and we've00:10:18
seen people turn violent because of that00:10:20
but it's not just soldiers I think00:10:22
there's an even larger problem across00:10:24
the board of people taking to the00:10:27
streets and and and violating people00:10:30
whether it's physical assault shooting00:10:32
an ICE officer burning down the streets00:10:34
of LA cars being blown up in LA you name00:10:37
that we do have a problem with violence.00:10:39
And it's not just in America. Look at00:10:41
the immigrants that have come into00:10:42
Europe and what they've done. I mean,00:10:44
you've got teenage girls in England00:10:47
trying to defend themselves with knives00:10:49
being threatened with arrest or being00:10:50
arrested because they don't want to be00:10:51
raped by these uh violent immigrants who00:10:54
are coming in from these countries of00:10:56

concerns that when they do get released,00:14:29
uh, they may have heavy redactions. Do00:14:32
you think that is going to assuage the00:14:34
concerns of the American people or do00:14:36
you think they should just be put out00:14:37

woman and you come forward, you are00:15:25
ignored because you are not believed00:15:26
regardless of the evidence that is out00:15:28
there. And those are the things that I'm00:15:30
fighting for. every woman, every girl,00:15:31

who've had who've been victims of this00:15:35
sort of thing. And that's where I think00:15:37
there's such deep frustration in both00:15:40
parties. It's not just Republicans and00:15:41
Democrats. What I what I learned through00:15:43
Epstein is that both sides, whether00:15:45
you're Republican, Democrat,00:15:47
independent, they want the truth. They00:15:49
want predators to go to the jail. And00:15:50
that just doesn't happen in this00:15:52
country. And I'm, you know, looking, I'm00:15:53
running for governor right now. I'm00:15:54
looking at the justice system in South00:15:56
Carolina where murderers walk free,00:15:59
where rapists see no jail time, where00:16:01
where child molesters get a day in jail.00:16:04
I mean, that's the kind of justice00:16:05
system that I'm seeing every single day00:16:07
in bright red South Carolina. And I'm00:16:09
saying enough is enough. And Epstein is00:16:12

files." It was President Trump that00:16:54
kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of out of00:16:56
Mara Lago. It was President Trump who my00:16:57
understanding is did sit down with00:16:59
authorities and according to those00:17:01
emails, Jeffrey Epstein thought that00:17:03
President Trump was the snitch. So, you00:17:07
know, we're talking about a man who00:17:08
hasn't been given, I believe, enough00:17:10
credit. And when I was when we were uh00:17:12
voting on releasing the files, getting00:17:14
the 218 on the discharge petition, all00:17:16
the press wanted to do was say President00:17:17
Trump's name over and over again. And I00:17:19
sat there with deep frustration, saying,00:17:22
"What about the stories of the women?00:17:24
What about the stories of the men who00:17:25
raped 14-year-old girls? What about the00:17:27
innocence of these women who was stolen00:17:29
at a very young age and never gotten00:17:31
back? And nobody's ever gone to jail.00:17:33
It's not the president. The president00:17:35
was there, I believe, protecting women.00:17:37
And I've seen President Trump like just00:17:39
a couple weeks ago, he helped me get00:17:40
brain surgery for a young woman. He00:17:43
helped me uh bail another woman out of a00:17:45
Bosnian prison a couple weeks ago for a00:17:47
very minor passport issue. So, anytime00:17:49
I've gone to the president uh for an00:17:52
issue with a woman or a girl, he's just00:17:54
always been there and supported us. So,00:17:56
you know, I just uh been very protective00:17:58
of him and I think he's done a great job00:18:00

seems to me that at the crux of this00:26:07
problem, there's been a a catastrophic00:26:09
failure both in the withdrawal that we00:26:12
all watched in horror on television, the00:26:13
way that was carried out, which involved00:26:15
a lot of deaths at the time. Um, there00:26:18
was a sense of a duty of care to many00:26:20
Afghanis who had served alongside US00:26:23
forces and UK forces and others um to to00:26:26
preserve their safety from the Taliban00:26:29
they had been attacking, which made00:26:31
perfect sense. But there's also been a00:26:33
systematic failure, it seems, of vetting00:26:35
with many people who were brought back00:26:37
to the United States not being properly00:26:38
vetted, not even having face-toface00:26:41
interviews. So the whole thing seems to00:26:43
have been incredibly badly handled. What00:26:46
what is your view here about uh first of00:26:48
all, what happened with these two00:26:50
national guardsmen and what this Afghany00:26:53
uh retired soldier had done.00:26:57

national guardsmen was clearly an act of00:27:00
terror. 100% make no mistake about it.00:27:02
It was an act of terror. And just00:27:04
because he ended up serving with US00:27:06
forces over inside of Afghanistan for a00:27:08
period of time doesn't ensure that he is00:27:10
not going to commit acts of terror. At00:27:12
one point in time over in Afghanistan00:27:13
for a very long period of time, we ended00:27:15
up having something called the Guardian00:27:16
Angel program where we would have to00:27:18
have soldiers dedicated to watching our00:27:20
backs at all times 24/7 to make sure we00:27:22
weren't getting shot in the back. These00:27:23
were known as green on blue incidents.00:27:25
They were profound. They were happening00:27:27
all the time. One of our officers ended00:27:28
up getting shot in the head while he was00:27:30
on a Skype call with his wife, right?00:27:31
That the guy ended up walking in to the00:27:33
place where he was making this phone00:27:34
call and shot him right in the back of00:27:36
the head. All right, this is this is not00:27:38
an isolated incident seeing things like00:27:39
this happen. And it's also not the only00:27:41
time, all right? And we are not painting00:27:43
all Afghans this way. I was talking to a00:27:44
man who I signed his SIB paperwork to00:27:47
come into the United States of America00:27:48
that I know is a good, honest, hard00:27:50
loving uh hardworking citizen. A lot of00:27:53
these people have done more for the00:27:54
United States of America than most00:27:55
Americans. However, that doesn't take00:27:58
away from the fact that they were not00:27:59
vetted and that we did have terrorists00:28:01
come into this country. Joe Kent Joe00:28:03
Kent went before Congress and testified00:28:06
and stated that we've had thousands00:28:08
thousands of known terrorist affiliated00:28:11
um Afghans come into the United States00:28:13
of America because they were not vetted.00:28:15
I've interviewed the soldiers and00:28:17
marines who were on the ground at H Kaya00:28:19
over in Kabool and they will tell you00:28:21
that they weren't even given proper00:28:22
training on the paperwork that they00:28:24
should have been screening before they00:28:25
were coming on the base. And then you00:28:26
had members from the Department of State00:28:27
that would walk up to them and tell them00:28:29
forget about the paperwork or add00:28:30
different things going on to it. It was00:28:32
an absolute joke. And so yes, we do need00:28:35
to make sure we're going through and we00:28:36
do need to make sure that we're proper00:28:37
properly betting these people. It's not00:28:38
an attack on the Muslim community. It's00:28:40
just a fact00:28:42
in the Middle East. You've given some00:28:44
fascinating background there and some00:28:46
color to it, but you've also00:28:47
highlighted, I guess, the the uh the00:28:51
problem here and how it gets dealt with00:28:53
in terms of going forward, right?00:28:54
because there are clearly some Afghan uh00:28:57
people that were brought back from the00:28:59
war that you believe are good, decent00:29:01
people who served America's interests at00:29:04
great personal risk to their own lives00:29:06
who you I presume I presume we you would00:29:09
feel that there's a duty of care to and00:29:11
that they should be allowed to stay. So00:29:13
how do you determine who stays and who00:29:15
is thrown out?00:29:18

people that got on the airplane that had00:29:21
photo copies of somebody else's00:29:23
paperwork have absolutely no business00:29:24
being in the United States of America.00:29:26
And unfortunately, because of Joe Biden,00:29:27
we have to go back and check all of this00:29:29
paperwork to make sure the right people00:29:30
are here in this country. I spoke to one00:29:33
of those Afghans just the other day00:29:34
who's here living in the United States00:29:36
of America. And he's just as pissed off00:29:38
as everybody else in the country because00:29:40
these jihadists are wrecking the United00:29:43
States and are trying to kill Americans.00:29:44
Over inside of Fort Worth, Texas, there00:29:46
was a terror attack that just got00:29:48
thwarted by DPS authorities over outside00:29:50
of Texas. Last year in November, there00:29:52
was two Afghan ISIS affiliated00:29:54
terrorists that got arrested that were00:29:56
going to plan a uh election day shooting00:29:58
terror attack. They bought hundreds of00:30:00
rounds of ammunition and 2K or AK-47s00:30:03
from an uh you know, an informant. And00:30:06
so, again, they just got busted and they00:30:07
got sentenced last week. Now, Trump came00:30:10
out on what was it? Friday and he said00:30:12
on Friday that we're going to be looking00:30:14
over everybody else's paperwork and then00:30:16
all of the sudden this terror attack00:30:17
ends up happening. Right? So it was a00:30:19
Friday before the terror attack. Trump00:30:20
had came out and said that and it was 200:30:22
days after the sentencing for one of00:30:23
those terrorists. This is not an00:30:25
isolated incident. It's 100% the fault00:30:27
of the vetting of what took place on the00:30:29

me, but tons of my brothers ended up00:30:33
getting signal messages during the00:30:34
Afghan withdrawal telling us that we'd00:30:36
get paid thousands of dollars if we had00:30:38
an active passport and we could get our00:30:40

hanging off the side of a C17 and00:30:48

back to the base. There's Taliban flags00:34:48
just flying all throughout these00:34:50
villages. They have cemeteries with00:34:51
Taliban flags planted. Everything you00:34:53

Taliban in one way, shape, or form. We00:34:58
can even get workers to come on to camp00:35:00
with proper vetting because they also00:35:02
had affiliations with ISIS and the00:35:04

people that served side by side with US00:35:10

my opinion and most veterans opinions to00:35:14
be in this country because they have00:35:15
done more for this country than most00:35:17
Americans. But to sit here and try to00:35:19
claim that we're going after Muslims or00:35:21
that we're going after anybody else is a00:35:22
lie. those same Muslims that myself and00:35:25
my brothers invited into this country00:35:27
and signed our name to would stand side00:35:29
by side and vouch for the exact same00:35:31
things that I'm saying. That there is00:35:33
evil in that country and that it is00:35:34
involved within the civilian population00:35:36

trying to pass laws for nine-year-old00:36:25
girls to be able to get married to grown00:36:26

would call a huge victory for democracy.00:36:30

Afghanistan, the moment we pull out, the00:36:34
moment we pull out, we have six-year-old00:36:36
girls getting married off to grown men.00:36:39
10% of the girls inside of Afghanistan00:36:42
under the age of 15 end up getting00:36:44
married off. And I think it's it's an00:36:46
absurd number. It's like 60% or00:36:48
something like that end up getting00:36:49
married off before they're even 18. And00:36:50
this is their family selling them off to00:36:52
older grown men. And don't even get me00:36:53
started on chai boys to sit here and00:36:55

what's been said so far about all of the00:38:06
people that were brought here passes any00:38:07
basic sanity test. There were some00:38:10
77,000 people that came from00:38:11
Afghanistan. The idea that we didn't vet00:38:13
any of them and only one or two extreme00:38:16
instances of of any kind of violence or00:38:18
planned violence has happened just00:38:19
doesn't it just doesn't pass a basic00:38:20
sanity test. Where are all of the00:38:22
terrorist attacks that should be00:38:23
happening if we really brought over00:38:25
almost 80,000 people and didn't vet them00:38:27
