Step into the skybound village of Riverfall, a floating town hidden by magic and powered by steam. Riverfall is home to fugitives who have escaped the world, and now drift far above the world. Beneath its orchard trees and garden groves, the pipeworks hum with quiet purpose, and in the tower at the heart of Riverfall, a secret pulses. In this piece we’ve used the flute, oboe, piano, steam textures, choir, and a cinematic orchestra to bring that world to life. "Riverfall" is the perfect companion for reading, writing, focus, DnD, or slipping into your own imagined world. This track is inspired by the world of Riverfall, created by author Jacquelyn Hagen, and featured in her gaslamp fantasy series The Riverfall Chronicles. I’m currently halfway through the first book, The Wickwire Watch, and it’s honestly amazing! It's got wit, heart, mystery, and atmosphere.
