So the AMG power plant is

Perhaps the key issue around
the Huayra is the noise, or00:08:21
rather lack of it, or
rather presence of00:08:23
turbocharged noise.00:08:24
Being turbocharged, this car
just cannot sound like those00:08:28
amazing Zondas we had before,
particularly that last R00:08:31
version, which just sounded like
all sorts of bad things00:08:34
going wrong in the right way.00:08:36
So we have turbo noise

Pagani has worked hard to try00:08:47
and tune that noise. It's the first turbocharged car
that I've driven that has00:08:51
got deliberately tuned

And there's wastegate
rattles and fizzles.00:08:54
And there's lots going on.00:08:56
Does it sound as
good as Zonda?00:08:57

It's a different noise and one
that I think over time could00:09:01
become quite special.00:09:05
So to turn the Huayra into
something that is actually not00:09:08
that friendly and is a full-on
supercar, hypercar experience,00:09:11
there's a button here

You get it in sport mode, and
you hold it down for 500:09:15
seconds, and you hear

And you look at the dashboard,
