    and I would have loved a girly shopping

    trip to Bista Village, but um it's not

    possible to squeeze everything in when

    everyone has got very very busy diaries.

    have quite enjoyed it being a little bit

    more relaxed, obviously just really

    like to treat our loved ones to lots of

    tissue paper. It's just so much easier

    teeny weeny problem is that I've not

    been able to get any cream. My brother

    went into town this morning and all of

    the supermarkets and all of the like

    little delies and the local butchers

    everywhere has sold out of double cream.

    So, my mom is hopefully going to try and

    find some. I do have a little bit, but I

    also want to make ice cream. So, yeah, I

    just wasn't organized in my cream

    quantities. So then making the Brussels

    sprout gratan and also making the

    gingerbread ice cream are on my to-do

    list today. Festive ice cubes, that's a

    really quick and easy job. Um, and if

    wide coupe glasses, it's nice to have a

    festive, pretty ice cube. Bedroom swap.

    bit boring, but where Charlie's mom and

    dad slept over and where Scarlet slept

    over last weekend, Charlie's mom

    actually prefers the other room for the

    Christmas period because there's more

    space to get ready. So, I need to swap

    over the beds um swap over the bits and

    bobs that they've left in their

    bedrooms. And yeah, it's just going to

    be a really lovely day of um baking,

    cooking, Christmas prep, family time,

    making it as easy for ourselves as

    possible this year. So, we're doing

    turkey joints, which have got the

    stuffing and everything kind of already

    built in. Charlie's bought the Daleford

    Christmas gravy. We've got we I mean, I

    think this is maybe a little bit too

    lazy, but we've bought pre-made pigs and

    blankets.

    What else? Yeah, gravy, cranberry sauce,

    bread sauce. I think that we're just

    trying to like cut out as many steps as

    possible this year. It has been a

    stressful December, which looking back

    at Vlogmas, I think it's a miracle that

    we've been able to hide it from you how

    stressful this December has been. Um,

    not hide it from you, just focus on the

    other parts. So, the next job on our

    to-do list is to make the Brussels

    sprout gratan, which is pretty much the

    same as a potato gratan, but with

    Brussels sprouts. I'm afraid to admit

    that before we moved to the countryside,

    really nice warming spices to be honest.

    There is actually not that much

    difference between gingerbread ice cream

    difference whatsoever. But the main

    the fridge. But I have got a couple of

    that I've got from D for the past couple

    hiding behind the cinnamon. You need a

    lot of cream for ice cream. clues in the

    Fun thing about making things yourself

    at home is that you really realize how

    much sugar goes into all of your

    favorite treats. We're thinking we're

    going to have a scoop of this eggnog ice

    cream, probably with um Christmas

    pudding or personally, I like it with

    minced pies and things like that. And I

    will be blending up a few cinnamon

    sticks using some ground nutmeg, a

    little bit of ground ginger to give it

    that really lovely spice. I like to do

    everything in the Thermaix. Um, so just

    makes it a lot easier. You can mix

    everything together on the hob, but

    yeah, saves me a little bit of washing
