00:00:25
Good morning, my darlings. Welcome to
00:00:29
Vlogmas day 25.
00:00:32
Merry Christmas if you are watching this
00:00:35
on Christmas day. I'm a little bit sad,
00:00:38
actually I'm very sad that this is the
00:00:41
last Vlogmas. I have really, really
00:00:44
enjoyed doing Vlogmas this year. I think
00:00:47
because I really took away every single
00:00:49
bit of Ooh, excuse me and my noisy
00:00:52
telephone. I really took away
00:00:55
every bit of pressure, every bit of
00:00:58
expectation. I didn't I didn't even
00:01:01
really plan that much, as you may have
00:01:04
guessed from New York, literally
00:01:06
happening like 12 hours before I flew.
00:01:08
Um, there are some things that I love to
00:01:11
include in Vlogmas videos. Like, in a
00:01:13
dream world, I would love to go skiing.
00:01:15
I'd love to take you to the mountains
00:01:16
and I would have loved a girly shopping
00:01:18
trip to Bista Village, but um it's not
00:01:21
possible to squeeze everything in when
00:01:24
everyone has got very very busy diaries.
00:01:26
But I think um I think that you guys
00:01:29
have quite enjoyed it being a little bit
00:01:30
more relaxed, obviously just really
00:01:33
authentic, very real. Um and I love
00:01:36
sharing the Christmas buildup with you
00:01:38
guys. So, I'm filming this on Christmas
00:01:41
Eve, and I'd love to know when are you
00:01:44
watching this? Because obviously
00:01:46
Christmas Day is a sacred time. We don't
00:01:48
all have time to watch YouTube on
00:01:50
Christmas Day. I will probably watch
00:01:53
people's Vlogmases while I'm taking my
00:01:54
makeup off tomorrow evening. But, um,
00:01:58
maybe you're watching it on Boxing Day
00:02:00
with your tummies full or maybe you're
00:02:02
watching it uh during the Crimbo Limbo.
00:02:04
Let me know when you're watching and let
00:02:07
me know how your Christmas was. What was
00:02:09
the best thing that you ate over the
00:02:11
Christmas period? Let me know down
00:02:13
below. So, it's Christmas Eve and
00:02:16
currently in the house, it's just
00:02:17
myself, Charlie, and my brother. Charlie
00:02:20
has got Jamie, I think, wrapping pigs in
00:02:22
blankets in the kitchen. It's already
00:02:24
very busy um here at the house. And I
00:02:26
thought I would just half for my
00:02:29
benefit, half for your benefit. Um I'm
00:02:31
going to read you out my Christmas Eve
00:02:33
to-do list. So, gift wrapping. Why? Why
00:02:36
do we do this to ourselves? We've left
00:02:39
it till the last minute again. And I'm
00:02:42
very annoyed. Um, it's the stockings. We
00:02:45
like to treat our loved ones to lots of
00:02:47
like little gifts. So, to be honest, I'm
00:02:49
probably just going to not quite do tin
00:02:51
foil, Alice Smithy, but I am going to do
00:02:55
tissue paper. It's just so much easier
00:02:57
for the stockings. So, gift wrapping,
00:02:59
dog walk. We have got a third baby in
00:03:03
our household over Christmas. Yes,
00:03:05
Bertie is back. If you watched to the
00:03:07
end of yesterday's Vlogmas, you'll have
00:03:09
seen we picked up our tiny little friend
00:03:12
Bertie, and he's staying with us until
00:03:14
the new year while his mommy and daddy
00:03:16
go skiing. I'm very jealous. Um, so dog
00:03:20
walk, ty out the babies. I need to lay
00:03:22
the table. I need to prep the napkins
00:03:24
with their nice little bows and rosemary
00:03:26
and all of that jazz.
00:03:29
Sprout gratan. So, one problem, one
00:03:32
teeny weeny problem is that I've not
00:03:34
been able to get any cream. My brother
00:03:36
went into town this morning and all of
00:03:38
the supermarkets and all of the like
00:03:40
little delies and the local butchers
00:03:43
everywhere has sold out of double cream.
00:03:46
So, my mom is hopefully going to try and
00:03:48
find some. I do have a little bit, but I
00:03:50
also want to make ice cream. So, yeah, I
00:03:54
just wasn't organized in my cream
00:03:56
quantities. So then making the Brussels
00:03:59
sprout gratan and also making the
00:04:02
gingerbread ice cream are on my to-do
00:04:04
list today. Festive ice cubes, that's a
00:04:07
really quick and easy job. Um, and if
00:04:10
you like to serve champagne in like the
00:04:12
wide coupe glasses, it's nice to have a
00:04:14
festive, pretty ice cube. Bedroom swap.
00:04:18
So, sorry this is potentially a little
00:04:20
bit boring, but where Charlie's mom and
00:04:22
dad slept over and where Scarlet slept
00:04:24
over last weekend, Charlie's mom
00:04:26
actually prefers the other room for the
00:04:28
Christmas period because there's more
00:04:30
space to get ready. So, I need to swap
00:04:31
over the beds um swap over the bits and
00:04:34
bobs that they've left in their
00:04:35
bedrooms. And yeah, it's just going to
00:04:38
be a really lovely day of um baking,
00:04:42
cooking, Christmas prep, family time,
00:04:45
and just getting everything ready for
00:04:48
tomorrow. So, welcome to the final day
00:04:52
of Vlogmas. This is going to make me
00:04:54
sad. Um, but this is the last time
00:04:58
you're going to see the intro. Oh my
00:04:59
gosh. But I know I know that lots of you
00:05:02
actually in like August you come back
00:05:05
and you watch the old Vlogmas videos to
00:05:07
like I don't know that by that time are
00:05:09
we bored of summer? I'm not. But um
00:05:12
that's when I noticed there's like a
00:05:13
peak of people starting to rewatch old
00:05:15
Vlogmas videos. So if you're watching
00:05:17
this in 2026 then woo how's the future?
00:05:22
How funny. Um but for now at least for
00:05:26
the very last time I actually have a
00:05:28
tear in my eye. How crazy.
00:05:32
There's something about Vlogmas, isn't
00:05:33
there? I think it's just like sharing
00:05:35
this emotional very
00:05:39
It's a very What's the word I'm looking
00:05:41
for? It's a personal time. It's like
00:05:43
you're very open at Christmas, aren't
00:05:46
you? You choose to spend it only with
00:05:48
your very, very favorite people, and
00:05:50
we're spending it together. So, I feel
00:05:52
like it's a very bonding experience
00:05:53
spending Christmas together. It's
00:05:54
intimate. That's the word I'm looking
00:05:56
for. Before I get any more deep and say
00:06:01
anything else that's a little bit crazy,
00:06:03
I will leave you, my darlings, for the
00:06:05
very last time of 2025 with the Vlogmas
00:06:08
intro. So, merry Christmas and welcome
00:06:12
to the last episode of Christmas in the
00:06:16
cotton.
00:06:23
Very
00:06:34
nice.
00:07:32
Christmas time at all.
00:07:35
>> I'm just overwhelmed. What you've done?
00:07:40
>> Well, >> it was nice. Nice night. Okay, it is all
00:07:44
go. Jamie and Charlie are just in the
00:07:47
drawing room trying to raise up the fire
00:07:51
grid thing because it gets really really
00:07:54
smoky in there when we have the fire on
00:07:56
constantly. And someone said to us we
00:07:58
need to raise the fire up so that it's
00:08:00
kind of closer to the chimney. So, we're
00:08:02
hoping that that's going to mean a
00:08:04
slightly less smoky Christmas. We've got
00:08:06
the two rolled turkey joints out of the
00:08:09
freezer. They are defrosting. As we
00:08:12
mentioned earlier in Vlogmas, we're
00:08:14
making it as easy for ourselves as
00:08:16
possible this year. So, we're doing
00:08:17
turkey joints, which have got the
00:08:19
stuffing and everything kind of already
00:08:21
built in. Charlie's bought the Daleford
00:08:24
Christmas gravy. We've got we I mean, I
00:08:26
think this is maybe a little bit too
00:08:28
lazy, but we've bought pre-made pigs and
00:08:31
blankets.
00:08:33
What else? Yeah, gravy, cranberry sauce,
00:08:35
bread sauce. I think that we're just
00:08:38
trying to like cut out as many steps as
00:08:40
possible this year. It has been a
00:08:42
stressful December, which looking back
00:08:45
at Vlogmas, I think it's a miracle that
00:08:46
we've been able to hide it from you how
00:08:48
stressful this December has been. Um,
00:08:51
not hide it from you, just focus on the
00:08:54
other parts. So, the next job on our
00:08:55
to-do list is to make the Brussels
00:08:58
sprout gratan, which is pretty much the
00:09:00
same as a potato gratan, but with
00:09:02
Brussels sprouts. I'm afraid to admit
00:09:04
that before we moved to the countryside,
00:09:06
I did not know that this is how sprouts
00:09:08
grew. Did you know that's how sprouts
00:09:10
grow, Jay? Jamie knew. Jamie knew. I
00:09:12
didn't know. Um, so we have to pluck
00:09:15
them from their stems and then take off
00:09:17
the outer uh little leaves cuz they're
00:09:20
very dirty and a little bit bitter. So
00:09:22
that's the next job. Um, as soon as Jay
00:09:25
and Charlie have finished in the drawing
00:09:26
room, it's on to the sprouts. Okay, my
00:09:29
little dicky. Why are you looking so
00:09:31
concerned? Life is not hard for you. You
00:09:33
literally exist and you get fed and
00:09:35
kissed.
00:09:37
It's not hard, baby.
00:09:40
Life is not hard for a sausage.
00:09:44
>> Is it?
00:09:49
>> Joy to the world, the Lord is come.
00:09:56
Let earth receive
00:09:59
her king.
00:10:02
Let every
00:10:04
heart prepare him room. And heaven and
00:10:10
nature sing.
00:10:12
And heaven and nature sing.
00:10:15
And heaven and heaven and nature sing.
00:10:27
Joy to the world the Savior reigns.
00:10:33
Let men their songs employ
00:10:40
while fields and floods, rocks, hills
00:10:44
and plains
00:10:46
repeat the sounding joy.
00:10:50
Repeat the sounding joy.
00:10:53
Repeat, repeat
00:10:56
the sounding joy.
00:11:05
No more let sins and sorrows grow, nor
00:11:11
thorns infest
00:11:14
the ground.
00:11:18
He comes to make his blessings
00:11:23
flow. Far as the curse is found. Far as
00:11:28
the curse is found. Far as Far as the
00:11:34
curse is found.
00:11:59
Okay, it's a couple of hours later. What
00:12:02
have we done since I last spoke to you?
00:12:04
I've done the napkins. I have vacuumed.
00:12:06
I have taken the boys out for a walk.
00:12:09
We've had lunch. And now it's time to do
00:12:12
the ice cream. I have been flitting
00:12:14
between doing a gingerbread ice cream or
00:12:16
an eggnog ice cream. And actually, I
00:12:18
think I am fancying eggnog ice cream.
00:12:21
It's not eggy, don't worry. It's just
00:12:24
really nice warming spices to be honest.
00:12:27
There is actually not that much
00:12:28
difference between gingerbread ice cream
00:12:29
and eggnog ice cream. Very little
00:12:31
difference whatsoever. But the main
00:12:33
ingredients that we need obviously um
00:12:36
some whole milk and L did have to nip
00:12:40
into Waitro to get a few more bits and
00:12:43
bobs for us, but luckily it wasn't too
00:12:45
crazy apparently. Um where have I put
00:12:47
it? Cream. Oh, I forgot to get out of
00:12:50
the fridge. But I have got a couple of
00:12:51
bits of cream here that do need using up
00:12:53
that I've got from D for the past couple
00:12:55
of days. Oh, it's right here. It was
00:12:57
hiding behind the cinnamon. You need a
00:12:59
lot of cream for ice cream. clues in the
00:13:02
name. So, I've got that um caster sugar.
00:13:06
Fun thing about making things yourself
00:13:08
at home is that you really realize how
00:13:10
much sugar goes into all of your
00:13:12
favorite treats. We're thinking we're
00:13:14
going to have a scoop of this eggnog ice
00:13:16
cream, probably with um Christmas
00:13:19
pudding or personally, I like it with
00:13:21
minced pies and things like that. And I
00:13:24
will be blending up a few cinnamon
00:13:27
sticks using some ground nutmeg, a
00:13:29
little bit of ground ginger to give it
00:13:30
that really lovely spice. I like to do
00:13:34
everything in the Thermaix. Um, so just
00:13:38
makes it a lot easier. You can mix
00:13:39
everything together on the hob, but
00:13:42
yeah, saves me a little bit of washing
00:13:43
up if I do it all in the Theromix. So,
00:13:45
let's get this made into the freezer and
00:13:48
then we can start with our very, very
00:13:50
last minute Christmas wrapping. Heat.
00:13:52
Heat.
00:14:26
Hey.
00:15:03
Okay, so the eggnog ice cream is just
00:15:06
coming up to room temperature.
00:15:07
Everything that I just did, you could do
00:15:10
on the hub. You don't need to do it in a
00:15:12
Theromix. You'll just have to keep
00:15:13
stirring it. So, I strained it through a
00:15:16
sie so we don't get little chunks of
00:15:18
cinnamon. But once this has come up to
00:15:20
room temperature, I'm going to pop it in
00:15:21
the freezer. I just find that that helps
00:15:23
with the consistency a little bit. Made
00:15:26
myself a coffee. And I stirred in a
00:15:28
little bit of vanilla that was left from
00:15:30
this. So, this is going to be a slightly
00:15:31
eggnog coffee. And now, accompanied by
00:15:34
the hotel chocolate pistachio chocolates
00:15:37
cuz they are so yummy. I'm going to make
00:15:39
um the world's easiest but cute little
00:15:42
Christmas ice cubes. I've done this past
00:15:45
few years. Sometimes we completely
00:15:46
forget about them. Sometimes they're a
00:15:48
lovely treat. So, I've got Why do I
00:15:51
always manage to cut the orange the
00:15:53
wrong way? Honestly, that's really quite
00:15:55
spectacular. Never mind. Um can you tell
00:15:59
I didn't eat many oranges as a child?
00:16:01
Okay, so we want half an orange.
00:16:04
>> Ah, it's a clementine. Exactly. Okay.
00:16:06
So, we want little
00:16:08
half slices of clementine. Come trim
00:16:14
my Christmas tree.
00:16:16
>> Oh,
00:16:33
hey.
00:16:52
So, as you can see, very easy. All I'm
00:16:56
doing is filling in the gaps with as
00:16:58
many cranberries as possible, cramming
00:17:00
in the cranberries, and then
00:17:03
>> I've trimmed a little bit of rosemary
00:17:05
from the garden. Just a really nice
00:17:07
little festive color combo. And then
00:17:09
when we show when we serve And then when
00:17:12
we serve champagne in a little coupe,
00:17:15
these will just make it look
00:17:18
cute.
00:17:19
Or G&
00:17:26
And then of course the final step is
00:17:29
just to fill up with water, but
00:17:32
hopefully they'll be quite full. So each
00:17:36
cube shouldn't need too much
00:17:40
just to kind of hold everything in
00:17:41
place. Otherwise, the cranberries float
00:17:44
away. And that's going in the freezer
00:17:47
ready for tomorrow.
00:17:50
Heat.
00:18:07
Heat.
00:18:34
Okay, we have finished wrapping the
00:18:36
gifts finally just before complete
00:18:40
darkness. It's 4. I'm about to set live
00:18:43
the penultimate Vlogmas. And we've put
00:18:46
little gift piles in various corners for
00:18:50
people to come and sit down tomorrow and
00:18:52
open up their gifts. I think Charlie's
00:18:54
and the dogs ones are still under the
00:18:57
tree. I have got one more of his gifts
00:19:00
to wrap shortly.
00:19:03
Little sausage dog. I am going to
00:19:05
actually I'm actually going to sit down
00:19:07
now and start editing this vlog. That's
00:19:10
the only slight logistical thing with
00:19:13
vlogging up to and including Christmas
00:19:14
Eve is that you either have to edit on
00:19:17
Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. So, I'm
00:19:19
going to sit down now just for half an
00:19:20
hour and edit up to this point in the
00:19:24
vlog. Um, and then we have got the final
00:19:27
advent calendar for Vlogmas 2025. And
00:19:30
then I better start getting ready cuz
00:19:32
we're heading out to the village pub for
00:19:34
dinner tonight.
00:19:52
Heat. Heat.
00:20:15
Good evening, my darlings. It is quart
00:20:19
6. We're heading out for dinner in 15
00:20:22
minutes. I've just got ready very, very
00:20:24
quickly. We're just heading to the local
00:20:26
pub. So, I've popped on my nice red
00:20:28
Holland Cooper fleece. This light is
00:20:30
doing funny things. Um, and I'm probably
00:20:34
just going to do hair in a low bun. I
00:20:37
think going to the pub in antlers is
00:20:39
probably not appropriate. Um, so I'm
00:20:42
just going to pop in some dry shampoo.
00:20:44
My velvet Amber from Living Proof. I'm
00:20:48
going to wash my hair in the morning cuz
00:20:50
it's Christmas Day and I need to be
00:20:52
fresh as a daisy. So, um, I have almost,
00:20:56
well, I have pretty much finished the
00:20:58
wrapping now, which is wonderful news.
00:21:00
And the only thing I didn't get around
00:21:01
to doing is properly laying the table,
00:21:03
but it's the napkins that take the
00:21:05
longest, so I can lay the table in the
00:21:07
morning. Um, Charlie has just messaged
00:21:11
me saying to come to the bedroom because
00:21:14
he is ready to do the very last advent
00:21:16
calendar of the year. So, I'm going to
00:21:17
pop a skirt on cuz I'm actually sitting
00:21:19
here
00:21:20
nude from the waist down. Um,
00:21:25
so I'm going to get dressed and then
00:21:26
let's go and do the final advent of
00:21:29
Vlogmas 2025.
00:21:32
>> The dogs every time we got three of them
00:21:34
barking this time.
00:21:35
>> I know. I have no idea how they know. I
00:21:37
think maybe Lo and Jay have actually
00:21:39
just come into the kitchen.
00:21:41
>> That might be why. But so here we are.
00:21:44
It must be a relief for you, darling.
00:21:45
You won't have to do this.
00:21:46
>> It's been Do you know what? It's not
00:21:48
been my best year in terms of we've been
00:21:49
very rushed at times and we haven't
00:21:51
shared many gifts on here, have we?
00:21:53
>> No. >> And a few gifts have actually ended up
00:21:54
in your stocking cuz we've not even had
00:21:56
the time to unbox them.
00:21:58
>> It's been Anyway, it's been good. It's
00:22:00
been It's been a good Vlogmas, hasn't
00:22:01
it?
00:22:02
>> It's I was just saying earlier, it has
00:22:03
actually been a really good Vlogmas. All
00:22:04
things considered,
00:22:05
>> quick so quick.
00:22:06
>> It has absolutely flown by. Well, the
00:22:09
dogs are just going to get more and more
00:22:10
FOMO. So, let's do it, my darling.
00:22:12
>> Let's do it. Right.
00:22:13
>> So, what day am I opening?
00:22:16
>> 24, mate. 24.
00:22:18
Oh my goodness me. Um,
00:22:24
>> let's have a look. I'll give you a hand
00:22:26
today. So, we're out.
00:22:28
>> Oh, there it is.
00:22:29
>> Bble. Oh, it's a um What even is that? A
00:22:34
bell pepper?
00:22:35
>> I don't know. >> I think it's a bell pepper.
00:22:37
>> No clue, mate.
00:22:38
>> Because it's the end and I've run out of
00:22:41
clues
00:22:42
>> and you've already seen the gift. So
00:22:45
this is obviously for for Oh, where have
00:22:47
you gone? Go back into the shop, mate.
00:22:50
You You great big bloner.
00:22:52
>> This is the sort of more bougie gift,
00:22:54
which is this, as I keep reminding
00:22:56
people, it's your birthday gift, your
00:22:57
advent calendar. So, here we go.
00:23:01
>> That's a very nice colored box.
00:23:02
>> It's a nice color box. I don't think
00:23:03
I've bought you anything from there
00:23:04
before, have I? I don't think I have.
00:23:06
>> I don't think we should go to the
00:23:07
bedroom because it's far too loud. Very
00:23:10
terrible children.
00:23:13
And these?
00:23:15
>> Yeah, these are your Christmas PJs. It's
00:23:16
a new tradition.
00:23:17
>> Gosh,
00:23:18
>> obviously I got your Olivia von Hall,
00:23:19
but I just thought I got Scarlet a pair
00:23:21
similar, but I just thought covered on
00:23:23
sausage dogs. Yeah,
00:23:24
>> I think I've got you a pair of Chelsea
00:23:25
Pierce before with sausage dogs on.
00:23:27
>> No, you haven't.
00:23:28
>> Why not? Okay. Well, that's for for
00:23:29
tomorrow.
00:23:30
>> That's so cute. Oh my god.
00:23:32
>> Scarlet's got a pair as well, but hers
00:23:33
are a red pair which have got a slightly
00:23:35
different sausage dog print.
00:23:36
>> That is amazing. It's actually birdie.
00:23:38
>> Yeah, true. Okay, let's open. I have got
00:23:42
a sneaky suspicion I might know what
00:23:43
this is.
00:23:44
>> Well, the problem is, and I think this
00:23:45
probably resonates with a lot of people
00:23:47
the other day cuz we're going away in
00:23:49
January and the other day you were like,
00:23:50
"Oh, I could do with cuz you wear them
00:23:52
so much." And I had to actually tell you
00:23:54
don't buy them. >> Don't buy them. But also, we were kind
00:23:56
of looking for these in um when we stood
00:23:58
at them. >> We did. Yeah. And offered to get you
00:23:59
them for your birthday then, didn't I?
00:24:01
Cuz they one of your most worn items in
00:24:03
the summer, aren't they?
00:24:04
>> Oh, it's the new pair.
00:24:06
>> Cuz you've not got this pair, have you?
00:24:07
>> No, I don't. No. It's got that detailing
00:24:09
on
00:24:10
>> that's so gorgeous. It's like the um I
00:24:12
mean some people would know what these
00:24:13
are called and what the stitching is.
00:24:15
I'm just not an MS expert at all. I know
00:24:17
they're called the Oruran sandals and
00:24:19
there's 50% chance I might be wrong.
00:24:21
They I used to laugh at people that got
00:24:24
these because I was thinking
00:24:25
>> you thought they were a ripoff and
00:24:26
you've been ripped off. Yeah, me too.
00:24:28
Then we listen to the podcast.
00:24:30
>> Well, actually I did invest in before
00:24:32
listening to the podcast. Um they're
00:24:34
just so classic. They literally just go
00:24:36
with everything and I feel like they're
00:24:38
so comfortable. >> They're a wardrobe staple for you,
00:24:40
aren't they? And obviously, they're a
00:24:41
high-end piece, but I have to be honest,
00:24:43
I've been quite impressed over the years
00:24:44
about how long they've lasted cuz I come
00:24:47
from a sort of mentality of obviously I
00:24:49
would always go to actual shoe manu
00:24:53
churches if you're going to go big cuz
00:24:54
that's their bread and butter. Hermes
00:24:56
are not necessarily shoe manufacturers.
00:24:58
They're more leather goods. Obviously,
00:24:59
luggage was their thing. Um, but to be
00:25:02
honest, I would say, I mean, I won't use
00:25:04
the term entry level cuz they're still
00:25:05
expensive, but for anyone wanting to buy
00:25:07
into the brand, I do think this is a
00:25:09
nice product. Obviously, the handbags
00:25:11
are quite ridiculous.
00:25:12
>> Um, uh, but yeah, I don't know about the
00:25:15
belts, to be honest. I think you can get
00:25:17
a nice belt from anywhere, whereas these
00:25:18
really are quite iconic.
00:25:20
>> They are.
00:25:21
>> Um, well, I hope they I hope they go
00:25:22
well. We'll wear them on holiday.
00:25:24
>> You know, I'll get a lot of use out of
00:25:25
these. I won't try them on now because
00:25:27
they will look very weird with my
00:25:28
outfit. But what an incredible treat.
00:25:31
I'm I'm equally as excited.
00:25:32
>> This is a new tradition.
00:25:33
>> Love this.
00:25:34
>> So yeah, obviously I got you a slightly
00:25:36
bougier pair of um PJs, but then you
00:25:39
like these comfy ones and I think we'll
00:25:41
do Christmas open Christmas presents
00:25:42
tomorrow in the uh in those.
00:25:44
>> The great thing is these are not
00:25:46
technically only Christmas because the
00:25:48
dogs are not wearing Christmas hats.
00:25:50
>> I don't know. They are quite Christmy,
00:25:51
but you could probably wear them all
00:25:52
winter. >> I'll wear them all winter.
00:25:53
>> Come on. Yeah, we're not going to save
00:25:55
things for certain things.
00:25:56
>> Right, let's get to the pub, mate. Let's
00:25:58
get to the pub. >> To the pub we go.
00:26:00
>> All right.
00:26:17
Well, my darlings, we have just got back
00:26:19
from the pub. That was a really, really
00:26:22
lovely meal with my bro Lola, Charlie,
00:26:25
and Martin as well. It's become a bit of
00:26:28
an annual Christmas Eve tradition and
00:26:31
it's really lovely to see the pub just
00:26:33
full of full of villages, full of the
00:26:35
locals, everyone supporting it, and
00:26:36
they've done a really nice job
00:26:37
decorating it. Um, I had a beef borgon,
00:26:40
which was absolutely scrumptious. new
00:26:44
festive pajamas are on. And I'm pretty
00:26:46
sure this is actually kind of the king
00:26:48
fisher green that Camila said was one of
00:26:52
my top colors from the color analysis.
00:26:54
Who knew? So Charlie has subliminally
00:26:57
picked one of my one of my top colors
00:27:00
and top dogs, which is absolutely
00:27:02
perfect. Um, but this is it. We are
00:27:05
signing off Vlogmas 2025. Normally I
00:27:08
feel quite sad signing off Vlogmas, but
00:27:10
I think because I know I'm going to be
00:27:12
picking up the camera again tomorrow,
00:27:14
filming a few snippets of Christmas Day
00:27:17
and Boxing Day. Um, and there'll be a
00:27:19
couple more vlogs before the end of the
00:27:21
year, taking my break in January. So, I
00:27:24
don't I don't feel too sad, but um I
00:27:28
really hope you've had a magical
00:27:30
Christmas day, however you've been
00:27:32
celebrating, or a really wonderful day.
00:27:34
And if you're watching between Christmas
00:27:36
and New Year, have you got any signing
00:27:38
off words for Vlogmas?
00:27:41
>> Signing off words for Vlogmas. First and
00:27:42
foremost, thank you to everyone that's
00:27:45
supported us this year
00:27:46
>> and that supported the channel and
00:27:48
that's uh supported you and has just,
00:27:51
you know, um been there. You know, it
00:27:54
it's a strange strange business that
00:27:56
we're in, but we're very grateful when
00:27:58
we meet people. you know, well, it's
00:27:59
strange in that we don't, you know, that
00:28:01
we don't get to meet a lot of people
00:28:02
that subscribe to channel, but when we
00:28:03
do, it's just so lovely.
00:28:05
>> Yeah. >> And so, thank you to all of you. Um, and
00:28:08
I guess just from my point of view, over
00:28:09
what I've had 35 Christmases on this
00:28:11
planet,
00:28:12
>> or have I had 36
00:28:14
>> or 34?
00:28:16
>> 34, haven't I? Yeah, of course I've had
00:28:18
34. Um,
00:28:20
>> is just to say just enjoy this time with
00:28:22
your family. Obviously,
00:28:24
we
00:28:28
>> get better at every
00:28:32
>> quality time with your family, your
00:28:34
loved ones, because you just never know.
00:28:36
And it's just important to Yeah. look
00:28:38
back on Christmas and think, "Oh, I
00:28:40
really had some great
00:28:41
>> present."
00:28:42
>> Yeah. Exactly. Um and you know, of
00:28:44
course, look, we all love nice things,
00:28:46
but it's really that is the main thing
00:28:48
is spending quality time together.
00:28:50
>> Yeah. um whether you have got a small
00:28:52
family or whether you've got a big
00:28:53
family. So yeah, have a great time. Eat
00:28:56
lots of mince pies and thank you for
00:28:59
supporting us.
00:29:00
>> Yeah, very nice. Lovely. Be a good sign
00:29:03
off. Right, there you go. Do that. Oh,
00:29:04
no. Do you still do that?
00:29:06
>> Some people do.
00:29:07
>> Do they really?
00:29:08
>> You do. You bring the old tap the lens,
00:29:10
but then you got to fill around at the
00:29:11
back anyway, so it doesn't really work.
00:29:12
>> I know we don't do that, but no. Um
00:29:15
>> what are your what are your words of
00:29:16
your pearls of wisdom?
00:29:17
>> Well, you you kind of said it all there,
00:29:19
mate. Really? Um, I would love for you
00:29:21
guys to let us know. I think I always
00:29:23
ask this question, but let me know down
00:29:24
below. What was your favorite part of
00:29:26
Vlogmas? What was your favorite um thing
00:29:29
that you saw in the videos? Was it New
00:29:31
York? Was it
00:29:33
>> Joseph wants it to be New York so that
00:29:34
she can go?
00:29:36
>> I think we mince pie taste test or color
00:29:38
analysis or shopping the Belmont. We've
00:29:42
done We've actually done a lot of really
00:29:43
cool things this year.
00:29:44
>> We have done a lot. Um, we have done a
00:29:45
lot. We haven't done quite as much as I
00:29:47
planned or we were going to do cuz we've
00:29:49
had a few curve balls.
00:29:50
>> Yes. >> Um it's not been the easiest December,
00:29:52
but equally in a way then given it's not
00:29:55
been the easiest December actually when
00:29:56
you think what we've done and we've been
00:29:57
so lucky.
00:29:58
>> Um and yeah, I mean it's exciting. It's
00:30:01
mad that it's another like 2026 next
00:30:04
year just sounds bonkers. It is bonkers.
00:30:06
>> Welcome to the future.
00:30:08
>> Exactly. Yeah.
00:30:10
Um but
00:30:11
>> you're the first one here.
00:30:12
>> Yeah. But and it's our it will be our
00:30:14
sixth Christmas in this special old
00:30:15
house as well.
00:30:17
>> Um >> no this is our sixth Christmas. 2020
00:30:20
that's what
00:30:21
>> 21 22 23 24 25 Wow that's crazy.
00:30:26
>> Six Christmases in this house.
00:30:28
>> We'll have lived here six years in
00:30:30
April.
00:30:31
>> Wow. >> That's where it sounds weird. Sixth
00:30:33
Christmas, but we've not been in six
00:30:34
years. >> And yet I still would be like this is
00:30:36
our new house.
00:30:37
>> I know. Well, it's only going to be
00:30:38
another in 2028. Halfway through 2028,
00:30:42
we will have lived here the same time as
00:30:43
we lived in Clappam.
00:30:44
>> Wa.
00:30:45
>> Cuz we did nearly nine years in Clappam.
00:30:47
I did 10 years nearly in Glavin.
00:30:49
>> Too long.
00:30:50
>> Anyway, we really waffled. Have a great
00:30:52
Christmas team.
00:30:54
>> Thanks, Lang. We're going to go to bed.
00:30:56
It is um 10 9 so we'll be fast asleep by
00:31:01
the time Father Christmas comes, which
00:31:02
is good news. We'll let him crack on in
00:31:04
peace. And that is it. That is the noise
00:31:08
of our wooden shutters getting shut.
00:31:10
Thank you so so much for watching and
00:31:12
for joining all the Vlogmas videos this
00:31:15
year. And for the very last time for
00:31:18
Vlogmas 2025, I will leave you with our
00:31:20
beautiful outro, which you may have
00:31:22
noticed was the same outro
00:31:24
>> filmed by Jake. It is the same outro
00:31:26
that we used last year because I just
00:31:28
love that clip of Dicky jumping up for
00:31:30
the mince pies. Um, and I do always get
00:31:33
so many questions about the music. It is
00:31:35
all in our Christmas in the Cotsworld
00:31:37
playlist on Spotify, which you can
00:31:39
access for free if you want to carry on
00:31:42
listening. Um, but yes, merry Christmas.
00:31:45
Thank you so much for joining us and
00:31:46
I'll see you in just a few days time.
00:31:49
So, it's not farewell for too long, but
00:31:51
enjoy the rest of your evening and I'll
00:31:53
see you very soon. Good night.
00:32:15
Heat.
00:32:18
Heat.
