Today I'm taking this route with an SNG instead of a Flirt. But we can't reach our final destination, Arnhem. Just before we enter Nijmegen, I briefly explain why. Fortunately, we do make it to Nijmegen, because the views of the autumn landscape are magnificent, and as the sun slowly sets behind us, the sky turns a magical blue! This trip was originally planned with 7 FLIRT carriages. Unfortunately, we're running with less than half that capacity. That becomes problematic at 's-Hertogenbosch; just look at how many people are ready to board. Acceleration is noticeably slower after that. Today is November 12, 2025. Hop on and ride with me on train series 6600, departure time 3:28 PM. Along the way, we'll stop at Dordrecht South, Lage Zwaluwe, Prinsenbeek, Breda, Gilze-Rijen, Reeshof, the University of Tilburg, 's-Hertogenbosch, Rosmalen, Oss West, Oss, Ravenstijn, Wijchen, Dukenburg, and Nijmegen Goffert. Enjoy! Vandaag rijd ik deze route met een SNG, in plaats van een Flirt. Maar we kunnen de eindbestemming Arnhem niet bereiken. Vlak voordat we Nijmegen binnenrijden leg ik kort uit waarom. Gelukkig komen we wel tot aan Nijmegen, want de uitzichten op het herfstlandschap zijn prachtig, en terwijl de zon langzaam achter ons ondergaat, kleurt de lucht sprookjesachtig blauw! Oorspronkelijk is deze rit met 7 bakken FLIRT gepland. Helaas rijden we met minder dan de helft van die capaciteit. Op 's-Hertogenbosch wordt dat problematisch, kijk maar eens hoeveel mensen daar klaar staan om mee te gaan. Het accelereren gaat daarna merkbaar trager. Het is vandaag 12 november 2025.
