It's hard for me to care as much
00:00:01
anymore. I used to hit this issue hard
00:00:03
on polygyny
00:00:05
>> um with the multiple wives thing. And
00:00:07
you're right, it's not biblical and it's
00:00:09
completely immoral and it's totally
00:00:10
unjustified. Morality is defined by
00:00:12
scripture and the law of God has not
00:00:15
declared polygyny sin. Therefore, it is
00:00:17
moral. And God has participated in it.
00:00:19
Mr. Wilson, he he has participated in
00:00:22
giving men wives in the biblical
00:00:24
narrative. God doesn't sin. He's holy.
00:00:27
Be careful about your statements because
00:00:30
you are declaring not only the
00:00:31
patriarchs to be immoral, incontinent
00:00:34
perverts, but you're declaring God to be
00:00:38
those things. May it never be. God
00:00:41
forbid that idea. God is holy and moral.
00:00:45
And you need to watch your statements,
00:00:48
my friends. Their implications are
00:00:50
important. Jesus said, Andrew, Jesus
00:00:52
said that we are going to give an
00:00:54
account for every careless word we
00:00:56
speak. I know you do a lot of shows. I
00:00:58
know you do a lot of debating, but your
00:01:00
careless words, you're going to give an
00:01:02
account for them. You got to repent and
00:01:04
stop just saying whatever comes to mind.
00:01:06
Hey, it's Rich Tidwell and I'm back with
00:01:07
another response video. This time with
00:01:10
the Timcast crew. They had Andrew Wilson
00:01:13
on as a guest and they discussed my
00:01:16
plural family and my position on
00:01:18
polygyny. And what's amazing about this
00:01:20
as we walk through this video is that
00:01:22
they didn't cite one scripture uh and
00:01:24
they opened up with two logical
00:01:26
fallacies and two cognitive biases. In
00:01:30
other words, they did not even present
00:01:33
my case correctly. I have to hand it to
00:01:35
Ben Shapiro. At least he read some of my
00:01:38
statements and showed a clip of me
00:01:40
preaching. These guys just really
00:01:42
created a straw man and shot in the dark
00:01:44
right away. Uh, I really kind of
00:01:46
expected more from Andrew Wilson because
00:01:48
he's a professional debater, which by
00:01:50
the way, Andrew, if you see this video,
00:01:52
I would love to debate you on the
00:01:53
Whatever podcast or on Timcast,
00:01:56
wherever, whoever will host us, I would
00:01:58
absolutely debate you on the topic of
00:02:00
polygyny. So, friends, please make sure
00:02:02
that he sees this video, share it with
00:02:04
him. We want to discuss these things.
00:02:06
This needs to be brought to the
00:02:08
forefront of conversation because our
00:02:10
birth rates in the West right now are at
00:02:13
1.6 6 births per woman and the truth is
00:02:16
we need to be at 2.1. So this is not a
00:02:18
small matter. Polygyny is genuinely an
00:02:21
answer to that crisis. We need to
00:02:23
discuss its biblical lawfulness and how
00:02:26
it can be applied in the west. Now if
00:02:28
you don't know, I have two wives and I
00:02:30
also have eight children. Uh my second
00:02:32
wife just welcomed her first baby, which
00:02:35
is my eighth, our daughter Grace. I
00:02:37
shared a photo of her online. If you
00:02:40
don't follow me on Twitter or now X uh
00:02:43
or Instagram, please do and you'll be
00:02:46
able to keep up with our family. All
00:02:47
right, we're going to dive into the
00:02:49
video. I'm really excited with you guys.
00:02:51
Let's get into it. [music]
00:02:59
Now, just like in the Ben Shapiro
00:03:00
response video, I'm going to be pausing
00:03:02
pretty frequently as we walk through
00:03:04
this because they make a ton of false
00:03:07
claims and each one needs to be
00:03:08
addressed. However, if you would like to
00:03:10
see the original video uninterrupted, I
00:03:13
will have it linked in the description
00:03:14
below. Let's jump right into it. A
00:03:17
Protestant pastor says that polygamy is
00:03:20
biblical and that it was divinely
00:03:23
ordained. I've been seeing this all over
00:03:24
Twitter today. I don't know if you guys
00:03:25
have have noticed this at all. What a
00:03:28
great story. This guy's not backing down
00:03:30
from his claim that he could have
00:03:31
multiple wives.
00:03:33
>> I'm glad he believes it's a great story.
00:03:35
Thanks, buddy. Rich Tidewell, a pastor
00:03:38
in Canton, Missouri, has sparked an
00:03:40
online debate about the acceptance of
00:03:41
polygamy in Christianity and whether or
00:03:43
not it is biblically justified. He says,
00:03:45
"I have two beautiful wives. To the
00:03:48
expected amount of backlash, he recently
00:03:50
made an announcement on his Instagram
00:03:51
page that his second wife is expecting
00:03:53
his eighth child." All right, this is
00:03:55
kind of what I was saying earlier, even
00:03:56
though obviously we disavow this guy's
00:03:58
not talking about real Christianity
00:03:59
there. Okay, and we're off. Uh, this
00:04:03
first statement, this is not real
00:04:05
Christianity. This is known as a no true
00:04:07
Scotsman fallacy. Uh it's presented when
00:04:10
someone wants to state, "Oh, this isn't
00:04:12
real Christianity because the majority
00:04:15
operates this way. Status quo does not
00:04:17
prove real Christianity." Case in point,
00:04:19
Martin Luther in the Reformation um
00:04:22
believed that clergy could marry. The
00:04:25
majority believed that clergy could not
00:04:27
marry. Martin Luther went ahead and got
00:04:29
married. And yes, of course, he is still
00:04:32
a genuine Christian. So, we're not able
00:04:34
to say that, oh, you're not a real
00:04:36
Scotsman if you put sugar uh in your
00:04:38
oatmeal. You're supposed to put butter
00:04:40
and salt in your oatmeal. That doesn't
00:04:42
make someone not a Scotsman just because
00:04:45
they put sugar instead of salt in their
00:04:47
oatmeal. So, it's really important to
00:04:49
understand these things because a lot of
00:04:51
these pop up during I'm not going to
00:04:52
point out every single one, but you're
00:04:54
not off to a good start uh if you start
00:04:57
with a no true Scotsman. Uh and then
00:04:59
they're immediately going to present a
00:05:01
straw man as well. Let's continue on.
00:05:03
>> There was a time when even the
00:05:04
barbarians wanted children. Um he says,
00:05:06
"I have two beautiful wives." Tidewell
00:05:08
wrote in a long entry. "We are thrilled
00:05:09
for what the Lord has done for our
00:05:11
family." All right. So firstly, I I
00:05:15
don't know what his argument is, but I
00:05:17
Okay, this is actually really important.
00:05:19
It It comes at you fast. Okay. I don't
00:05:22
know what his argument is. Okay. So, if
00:05:26
you don't know my argument, you can't
00:05:27
steal man it, and you're not going to
00:05:29
properly dismantle it. So, you're going
00:05:31
to straw man, which is exactly what he's
00:05:32
about to do. It's known as a straw man
00:05:34
fallacy. Uh, and he's, this is actually
00:05:37
going to lead to a Dunning Krueger
00:05:38
effect where they're just super
00:05:40
confident in all of their statements.
00:05:42
So, I really would encourage you, both
00:05:44
those watching and also the Tim Cast
00:05:46
crew here that that I'm responding to.
00:05:49
Uh, this is not a great way to start off
00:05:50
debates. It's actually a really weak
00:05:52
position to start with a no true
00:05:54
Scotsman and then follow it right up
00:05:56
with a straw man, Dunning Krueger, and
00:05:58
also a confirmation bias. just not
00:06:01
strong. I want to show you Proverbs
00:06:03
18:13, this is the English standard,
00:06:06
says this, if one gives an answer before
00:06:08
he hears, it is his folly and shame. So
00:06:11
Solomon, wisest man uh ever to live
00:06:15
apart from Jesus Christ himself. And
00:06:17
Solomon makes this very clear statement
00:06:20
and he says, "If somebody gives an
00:06:23
answer before they even hear the
00:06:24
argument, it's their folly and shame."
00:06:26
And that's the truth. I'm literally
00:06:28
about to rip apart every single thing
00:06:30
they say because they didn't take the
00:06:32
time to actually hear me out or read
00:06:35
anything that I had written on my
00:06:37
website at richtildwall.com
00:06:39
or to listen to any of my statements.
00:06:41
They just have a cognitive bias which
00:06:44
results in a prejudice against polygyny.
00:06:47
um and they're not willing to hear
00:06:48
anything in opposition because the truth
00:06:51
is if you start to believe that polygyny
00:06:53
is righteous. Uh just look, I've had
00:06:56
literally millions of people uh
00:06:59
encounter my family this past week and
00:07:01
decide that they hated it. And you know,
00:07:05
yeah, that's that's pretty substantial
00:07:07
for anybody. I've been getting checked
00:07:08
in on by friends and supporters and
00:07:11
they're like, "How are you holding up?"
00:07:12
And I'm like, the Holy Spirit, you know,
00:07:15
when when you know that you're standing
00:07:17
on the word of God, it actually doesn't
00:07:19
matter how big the multitude is that
00:07:21
comes after you. Let's go. Let's
00:07:23
continue on.
00:07:24
>> Assume he's actually probably making
00:07:26
some version of the argument that the
00:07:27
left will often make when we talk about
00:07:29
marriage and biblical.
00:07:31
>> Again, I assume that he's making this
00:07:32
argument that's terrible
00:07:34
>> morality, which is the Bible has
00:07:35
polygamy in it. Not everything that the
00:07:38
Bible uh describes is something it's
00:07:40
recommending that you do. Okay. So,
00:07:42
that's not my claim. Again, this is the
00:07:44
problem with the straw man. The biblical
00:07:46
narrative includes stories of murder.
00:07:48
Uh, but murder is unlawful in God's law.
00:07:51
So, I'm not just encountering stories
00:07:53
and going, "Oh, it's it's okay to do
00:07:56
this because I read it in the Bible."
00:07:58
That again is a straw man and it's not
00:08:00
the correct u presentation of my
00:08:03
position. Um, now here's the deal. In 1
00:08:06
John 3:4, it says this. This is going to
00:08:08
be pivotal to our entire conversation in
00:08:11
this video. It says this, "Everyone who
00:08:12
makes a practice of sinning also
00:08:14
practices lawlessness. Sin is
00:08:16
lawlessness." In fact, the King James
00:08:18
would say sin is transgression of the
00:08:20
law. In other words, it's a violation of
00:08:22
the law. So either way, however you say
00:08:24
it, sin is lawlessness or sin is
00:08:26
transgression of the law. What it means
00:08:28
is you're not abiding by the law of God.
00:08:30
So the law of God is established. That's
00:08:32
the divine law. Sin is to violate or
00:08:36
deviate or ignore, which would be a
00:08:38
violation, that law. Okay, that's the
00:08:40
point that 1 John 3:4 makes. That's kind
00:08:43
of a summary of how sin works. Then if
00:08:45
we go to Romans 4:15, it says, "For the
00:08:47
law brings wrath, but where there is no
00:08:50
law, there is no transgression." Okay?
00:08:54
So if there's no law in the word of God
00:08:56
that prohibits a certain action, then
00:08:58
there is no transgression if that action
00:09:00
is committed. Now, people will say, "Oh,
00:09:02
well, but this law is not there or that
00:09:04
law is not there." That's typically not
00:09:06
accurate. What I found every single time
00:09:08
people are bringing up, uh, well,
00:09:09
there's no law against this, there's no
00:09:11
law against that. They're actually
00:09:12
speaking from ignorance and they don't
00:09:14
actually know. So, for example, if you
00:09:16
go to Leviticus 18 gives a great example
00:09:19
of all forms of fornication. Adultery is
00:09:21
one form of fornication, but there's a
00:09:23
bunch of different sexual immoralities
00:09:25
listed there. So when the New Testament
00:09:27
says sexual immoralities, it's really
00:09:29
referring to Leviticus 18, Leviticus 20,
00:09:32
some of the Deuteronomy chapters, uh,
00:09:35
and it's referring to sexual sins that
00:09:37
are explicitly listed. Things that
00:09:39
aren't listed aren't sins. In fact,
00:09:41
polygyny because it is not prohibited,
00:09:45
but rather regulated, that actually
00:09:47
indicates and verifies to the reader
00:09:50
that it's lawful. Because homosexuality
00:09:53
is prohibited, you cannot practice it.
00:09:55
Polygyny is regulated which means you
00:09:58
can practice it. That is a huge
00:10:00
important understanding to have. So the
00:10:02
Bible narrative includes polygyny. Okay?
00:10:05
Uh even bad, you know, cases, bad events
00:10:08
like Sarah and Hagar, they didn't get
00:10:10
along. You know, you're going to find
00:10:11
bad events. I'm not acting like
00:10:13
everything is uh rosy. But I I do want
00:10:16
to present and I I brought this up in
00:10:17
the Ben Shapiro response, too. Uh Adam
00:10:20
and Eve sinned horrifically. Um, and we
00:10:23
don't blame monogamy. Okay? So, we don't
00:10:26
go, "Oh, Adam and Eve committed the
00:10:28
worst sin ever, which was to plunge all
00:10:30
of humanity into sin and death.
00:10:32
Therefore, monogamy is bad. Marriage is
00:10:35
bad. We shouldn't be married." That's
00:10:36
just a stupid conclusion, honestly. So,
00:10:39
with polygyny, the same thing. You read
00:10:41
a bad story where people in polygyny did
00:10:44
something bad. And the problem is the
00:10:46
sin nature, not polygyny. So, polygyny
00:10:49
is divine. It's righteous. It's
00:10:50
perfectly lawful. Uh just like monogamy
00:10:53
is divine righteous, perfectly lawful.
00:10:55
Just like celibacy is divine, righteous
00:10:57
and perfectly lawful. But because of the
00:11:00
sin nature, people within any of those
00:11:02
particular um institutions of God,
00:11:06
sexual institutions, they can commit
00:11:08
sin. But it doesn't make sense to
00:11:11
actually blame the institution. The
00:11:12
institution itself is holy. Okay? And so
00:11:15
back to my other point that I was
00:11:16
making, uh if it's regulated, it's not
00:11:18
prohibited. So here's some examples.
00:11:20
Exodus 21:10. If he takes another wife
00:11:23
to himself, he shall not diminish her
00:11:25
food, her clothing, or her marital
00:11:27
rights. Okay, so this is just an
00:11:29
example, quick example of polygyny being
00:11:32
regulated, not prohibited. Uh, for
00:11:33
example, homosexuality in Leviticus 18,
00:11:35
it would say, is an abomination. Uh,
00:11:38
divorce, God hates divorce. You know,
00:11:40
you'll find passages like this in
00:11:41
scripture. You do not find anything like
00:11:44
that regarding polygyny. All the vitrial
00:11:46
and hatred comes from human mouths, not
00:11:49
the mouth of God, not the word of God.
00:11:51
Uh Deuteronomy 21 15-17 says this. If a
00:11:56
man has two wives, the one loved and the
00:11:59
other unloved. And both the loved and
00:12:01
the unloved have borne him children. And
00:12:02
if the firstborn son belongs to the
00:12:04
unloved, then on the day when he assigns
00:12:06
his possessions as an inheritance to his
00:12:08
sons, he may not treat the son of the
00:12:10
loved as the firstborn in preference to
00:12:12
the son of the unloved, who is the
00:12:15
firstborn. But he shall acknowledge the
00:12:17
firstborn, the son of the unloved, by
00:12:19
giving him a double portion of all that
00:12:21
he has. For he is the first fruits of
00:12:23
his strength, the right of the firstborn
00:12:25
as his. Now, why am I reading this?
00:12:26
Well, two reasons. Number one, it's
00:12:29
another regulation of polygyny. Number
00:12:31
two, it identifies both women as wives,
00:12:33
which the scriptures do not say wife and
00:12:36
mistress, wife and adulteress, wife and
00:12:38
harlot. They say wife and wife. And so,
00:12:40
each one flesh union is its own
00:12:42
individual genuine union. That's why
00:12:45
both women are called wives. And you've
00:12:48
got to understand this. Now, this came
00:12:50
up in the Ben Shapiro podcast as well.
00:12:52
I'll just bring it up again real quick.
00:12:54
Wives and concubines are two different
00:12:56
statuses, but they are both wives. A
00:12:59
wife by label and by definition is for
00:13:02
love. There's a real affection there.
00:13:04
There's a there's a passion between
00:13:06
them. A concubine is more like a
00:13:08
business arrangement where the woman and
00:13:10
the man make an agreement. They're not
00:13:12
necessarily passionately affectionate or
00:13:14
attracted to each other, but they have a
00:13:16
business arrangement where he will
00:13:18
provide material provision and
00:13:20
inheritance rights to the children of
00:13:22
the concubine. The the the children of
00:13:24
the concubine will receive uh
00:13:26
possessions and protection and and what
00:13:28
have you. And so will the concubine. Uh
00:13:29
and the concubine delivers children. So
00:13:32
she provides progeny and the uh the
00:13:35
patriarch provides provision. Okay,
00:13:37
that's the simplification of it. So
00:13:39
again, back to the point. He said, "Not
00:13:41
everything that uh the Bible describes
00:13:44
is it recommending. That's not my claim.
00:13:46
I'm making the point that polygyny is
00:13:48
lawful and at times it is divinely
00:13:52
inspired." Uh what he presented here was
00:13:55
a genetic fallacy. So once again, it's
00:13:57
another fallacy. Um it's [clears throat]
00:13:59
formed uh by making a statement like
00:14:02
this. Okay, sinners practice polygyny,
00:14:04
therefore polygyny bad. Right? Uh but
00:14:07
that's no different than saying sinners
00:14:08
practice monogamy. Therefore monogamy
00:14:11
bad. So Adam and Eve sinned. Monogamy is
00:14:14
still holy. Okay. So we can't commit
00:14:16
that genetic fallacy. And so we're what
00:14:18
are we at? We're at like four logical uh
00:14:22
two three logical fallacies and two
00:14:24
cognitive biases. This is a lot of
00:14:27
intellectual failures right at the
00:14:29
beginning. Which is why I'm hoping that
00:14:31
Andrew Wilson will actually agree to a
00:14:32
genuine debate cuz this is really just
00:14:35
an echo chamber. It's not really very
00:14:37
impressive at all. Let's continue on.
00:14:40
>> In fact, a lot of what's described, it's
00:14:42
from Tren or a lot of what's described
00:14:44
in the Bible is stuff you're not
00:14:45
supposed to be doing. It's a cautionary
00:14:46
term. >> It's just descriptive.
00:14:47
>> Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. It's just or it's
00:14:49
just descriptive.
00:14:50
>> Right.
00:14:51
>> So, to me,
00:14:52
>> okay, so he brought up the term
00:14:54
descriptive. Um, I've heard this
00:14:57
argument a whole lot. Descriptive, not
00:14:59
prescriptive.
00:15:00
There's a problem with that, though. Um,
00:15:03
again, this is an argument from
00:15:04
ignorance, not understanding the the
00:15:06
laws of God. Go to Deuteronomy 25:5.
00:15:10
This is the English Standard Version. It
00:15:12
says this. This is this is an example of
00:15:14
a prescribed commandment that would
00:15:17
result in polygyny. It says this, "If
00:15:19
brothers dwell together and one of them
00:15:21
dies and has no son, the wife of the
00:15:22
dead man shall not be married outside
00:15:24
the family to a stranger. her husband's
00:15:26
brother shall go into her, take her as
00:15:29
his wife, and perform the duty of a
00:15:31
husband's brother to her. There's so
00:15:33
much in this verse to unpack. I'm not
00:15:35
going to spend too much time on it, but
00:15:36
first and foremost, sex is marriage.
00:15:38
Okay? Genesis 2:24, there is no wedding.
00:15:41
There is no certificate from a state.
00:15:43
Adam and Eve did not have a wedding.
00:15:45
They did not have a certificate from a
00:15:46
state. They did not have an officient.
00:15:48
Okay? None of that. What did they have?
00:15:50
Intercourse. Okay? They had intercourse
00:15:52
with one another. All right? All right.
00:15:53
Well, in Deuteronomy 25:5, this is
00:15:55
leverate marriage. Intercourse is how
00:15:57
the marriage begins. And you'll see this
00:15:59
throughout the scriptures. I'm not
00:16:00
really diving into that. I have other
00:16:02
videos on my channel regarding sexes
00:16:04
marriage. I also have a marriage law
00:16:06
compendium or like a worksheet, a an
00:16:09
amalgamation of a bunch of different um
00:16:11
scriptures on marriage. And you can go
00:16:14
to the resources link on my website and
00:16:16
you'll see marriage law worksheet. You
00:16:17
can go read that. You can study out the
00:16:19
sexist marriage as well as lawful and
00:16:22
unlawful unions. I talk about this at
00:16:24
length in my video that I did with Rob
00:16:26
Kowalsski um titled on uh or the
00:16:30
divinity of marriage. And I think that
00:16:32
you guys will really uh be blessed by
00:16:34
that. Okay. So, back to Deuteronomy
00:16:35
25:5. If brothers dwell together and one
00:16:38
of them dies and has no son, the wife of
00:16:41
the dead man shall not be married
00:16:42
outside the family to a stranger. her
00:16:44
husband's brother shall go into her and
00:16:46
take her as his wife and perform the
00:16:48
duty of a husband's brother to her. This
00:16:50
happened uh with Judah's son Onin. This
00:16:52
was what was required of Onen in Genesis
00:16:55
38:8, I believe. And I don't have it
00:16:57
right in front of me. And so Deuteronomy
00:17:00
25:5 is prescribed regardless of the
00:17:03
marital status of the living brother. So
00:17:07
whether he's got a wife or wives or not,
00:17:10
he must marry his late brother's widow
00:17:14
in order to raise up offspring for his
00:17:16
brother. Why is this commanded in God's
00:17:19
law? Well, because when the brother died
00:17:22
without any offspring, the living
00:17:24
brother who is genetically very similar
00:17:26
is supposed to produce offspring with
00:17:28
the widow. The firstborn of that widow
00:17:31
is actually the child of the late
00:17:34
brother and receives all of his
00:17:36
inheritance from the late brother. And
00:17:38
then the widow from that point forward,
00:17:40
all of her children are the living
00:17:42
husband's children. But that first child
00:17:44
is legally the child of the late
00:17:47
brother. And so it's actually a
00:17:49
commandment that is from compassion to
00:17:52
ensure that the dead brother continues
00:17:54
to have progeny and his bloodline
00:17:56
doesn't end. This is a kindness from God
00:17:59
to the man who died and to the widow. Uh
00:18:03
and then the brother of course he gets
00:18:05
to have uh additional children through
00:18:07
the widow as well after the firstborn.
00:18:09
So regardless of how you feel about the
00:18:11
law of God, the point is here that this
00:18:14
is prescribed
00:18:16
regardless of the marital status of the
00:18:19
living brother. And this would result in
00:18:22
polygyny any and every time the man is
00:18:26
married and he has to marry his
00:18:29
brother's widow. So if he's got one wife
00:18:31
or more, he still has to marry his
00:18:34
brother's widow. And so he would end up
00:18:35
with two wives or three wives or what
00:18:37
have you. We're going to 2 Chronicles.
00:18:40
And Joash did what was right in the eyes
00:18:42
of the Lord all the days of Jehoeda the
00:18:43
priest. Jehoa got from him two wives and
00:18:46
he had sons and daughters. Now, this
00:18:47
might look like it's not a big deal on
00:18:49
the surface, but Jehoeda is the high
00:18:52
priest of Israel acting on behalf of
00:18:55
God's will, bringing Joash two wives
00:19:00
simultaneously so that he can have sons
00:19:02
and daughters. And this brings in a
00:19:05
divine statement. And Joash did what was
00:19:07
right in the eyes of the Lord. So, as
00:19:11
long as Jehoeda was alive, the things
00:19:13
Joash was doing were right. the things
00:19:15
Jehoeda was doing were right. Joha is
00:19:17
actually regarded as one of the better
00:19:19
high prophets um high priests in the
00:19:22
biblical narrative and Joash was a good
00:19:25
king up until Jehoeda had died. So at
00:19:28
this point in time he is doing what's
00:19:30
right in the eyes of the Lord all the
00:19:32
days of Jehoeda. Jehoeda the high priest
00:19:35
acting on behalf of God. He's in a
00:19:36
divine office brings him two wives. This
00:19:39
is prescribed. Okay. Joash didn't make
00:19:42
this decision. God told Jehoeda to bring
00:19:46
him two wives. And if you understand the
00:19:49
divinity of marriage, which is
00:19:50
witnessed, for example, in Jesus's
00:19:52
teaching in Matthew 19:6,
00:19:55
uh then you understand that God brought
00:19:57
these wives to Joash. Why? Because Jesus
00:20:00
said, "So they are no longer two but one
00:20:02
flesh. What God has joined together, let
00:20:05
no man separate." Okay, so that's two
00:20:07
prescribed scenarios of polygyny. This
00:20:09
one is perhaps the most arguably the
00:20:12
most obvious uh divine prescription of
00:20:16
polygyny in scripture and it's God
00:20:18
declaring to David that he gave him
00:20:20
multiple wives and he did so uh and and
00:20:24
he could have given him more if he
00:20:25
wanted to and then he tells David why
00:20:28
did you take Uriah's wife when you
00:20:32
already had all these wives that I had
00:20:34
given you. So 2 Samuel 12:es 7-8. Nathan
00:20:38
said to David, "You are the man. Thus
00:20:40
says the Lord, the God of Israel. I
00:20:41
anointed you king over Israel, and I
00:20:43
delivered you out of the hand of Saul,
00:20:45
and I gave you your master's house and
00:20:47
your master's wives into your arms, and
00:20:49
gave you the house of Israel and of
00:20:51
Judah." And if this were too little, I
00:20:53
would add to you as much more. What did
00:20:56
God just say here? This is the God of
00:20:59
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, our creator,
00:21:01
our savior. He says, "And I gave you
00:21:04
your master's house and your master's
00:21:05
wives into your arms." Now, to clarify,
00:21:08
this word arms here in Hebrew is um uh
00:21:11
translated more accurately as bosom.
00:21:13
It's an intimate word. In fact, in this
00:21:16
exact same chapter in 2 Samuel 12, it
00:21:19
states that Uriah had Ba Sheeba, his
00:21:22
little sheep, in his bosom. Okay? It's
00:21:25
an affectionate and in fact sexual term.
00:21:28
And God is stating, "I gave your
00:21:30
master's wives into your bosom. I I put
00:21:33
them in your bed and they became uh your
00:21:36
wives and you were able to have children
00:21:38
with them." And he's saying, "Why did
00:21:39
you take another man's wife when I gave
00:21:42
you all of these wives?" So, this is
00:21:44
divine providence. Uh this is an example
00:21:46
of the divinity of marriage and that God
00:21:49
is the one who caused these polygenous
00:21:51
unions. That's three prescriptions of
00:21:53
polygyny. And I'm just getting started.
00:21:56
Go to Matthew chapter 19:6. So they are
00:21:59
no longer two but one flesh. What
00:22:02
therefore God has joined together. Let
00:22:03
not man separate. We just saw God
00:22:06
explicitly stated, "I gave these wives
00:22:09
to you." We also saw Jehoeda acting on
00:22:12
behalf of God, doing what was right in
00:22:14
God's sight. Gave multiple wives to
00:22:16
Joash. So we know that it's God making
00:22:20
these joinings, these unions, uh these
00:22:23
marriages himself. This is what you must
00:22:26
understand is that all marriage starting
00:22:28
with Eve is by divine providence.
00:22:30
Genesis 2:22, he brought her to the man.
00:22:33
Well, that's actually what continues to
00:22:35
happen throughout the entire biblical
00:22:36
narrative. If it's a lawful union, it's
00:22:39
brought about by God. And what therefore
00:22:41
God has joined together, let not man
00:22:44
separate. Okay? All lawful marriage is
00:22:47
divinely prescribed. Whether monogamous
00:22:50
or plural, it is divinely prescribed.
00:22:54
And you can even say that celibacy is
00:22:56
divinely prescribed because Matthew 19
00:22:58
Jesus indicates that that that some
00:23:00
people are called to that. Some people
00:23:02
called to celibacy, many to monogamy,
00:23:05
and some to polygyny. But the point is
00:23:07
all three are righteous. And of course,
00:23:09
these gentlemen on Timcast, they're
00:23:11
going to start telling you how immoral
00:23:12
everything is. But they clearly have not
00:23:14
studied the word of God on the matter.
00:23:17
Please debate me. Genesis chapter uh 17
00:23:21
verse 5. Okay, here's the next
00:23:22
prescription. So God declares to
00:23:24
Abraham, I'm I've made you the father of
00:23:27
a multitude of nations. Okay? And at
00:23:29
this time he's childless. Genesis 17:5,
00:23:32
"No longer shall your name be called
00:23:33
Abram, but you shall be Abraham, for I
00:23:36
have made you the father of multitude of
00:23:38
nations." This is a declaration of
00:23:40
faith. God has spoken this over Abraham.
00:23:42
Uh it's prophetic. And Abraham is not
00:23:45
yet even the father of even one nation.
00:23:47
He hasn't fathered any children. Okay?
00:23:50
But then later on in Genesis 25:es 1-6,
00:23:54
look at this. Abraham took another wife
00:23:57
whose name was Coutura. So this is after
00:23:59
the Sarah and Hagar situation. And I
00:24:01
just want to point something out. Sarah
00:24:03
birthed one nation which was Israel.
00:24:07
Okay? So Israel is birthed through
00:24:10
Sarah. Isaac comes through Sarah, but
00:24:13
that's one nation. And God said, "You'll
00:24:15
be the father of many nations." So Hagar
00:24:17
gives birth to Ishmael. That's another
00:24:20
nation. Coutura gives birth to several
00:24:22
nations. Look at this in verse two. She
00:24:24
bore him Zimron, Joshin, Miden, Midian,
00:24:27
Ishbach, and Shua. Now, I want to make a
00:24:29
point. Moses marries a Midianite later
00:24:32
on. And his father-in-law, Jethro, knows
00:24:36
the God of Abraham and is actually a
00:24:39
priest. How is that possible? Because
00:24:42
the descendants of Abraham for a period
00:24:44
of time did serve the same God, but they
00:24:48
fell into sin and they fell into
00:24:51
rebellion in the actually the exact same
00:24:53
way that the Jewish people did in the
00:24:55
gospels. They fell into rebellion. They
00:24:57
crucified the son of God. So here
00:25:01
Abraham truly is a a righteous patriarch
00:25:05
who is the father of many nations. The
00:25:07
nations falling away from God or doing
00:25:09
what's evil in God's sight does not
00:25:10
indicate that something was evil here.
00:25:13
God said, "I will make you the father of
00:25:15
many nations." The sin nature is to be
00:25:18
blamed. Not God, not Abraham, not
00:25:20
polygyny, but the sin nature. Verse
00:25:23
three, Jockshin fathered Sheba and
00:25:25
Dedon. The sons of Dedon were Ashuram,
00:25:28
Leushim, and Lem. The sons of Midian
00:25:30
were Epha, Epher, Hanek, Abida, and
00:25:32
Elda. All these were the children of
00:25:34
Cura. Abraham gave all he had to Isaac,
00:25:37
but to the sons of his concubines,
00:25:38
Abraham gave gifts. And while he was
00:25:40
still living, he sent them away from his
00:25:42
son Isaac eastward to the east country.
00:25:43
So Abraham, father of many nations,
00:25:45
that's prescribed. So we've now
00:25:46
presented uh four and really five if you
00:25:49
count the divinity of marriage
00:25:51
prescriptions of polygyny. Uh Jacob
00:25:54
creating the tribes of Israel through
00:25:57
four wives is prescribed. This is
00:25:59
prophetically fulfilled through Jacob
00:26:01
that Israel would come into existence
00:26:03
and Israel was always going to be 12
00:26:05
tribes. Friends, just like Jesus was
00:26:07
always going to have 12 disciples,
00:26:09
Israel was always going to have 12
00:26:10
tribes. And those 12 disciples are the
00:26:13
ones who are going to judge the 12
00:26:14
tribes. Okay. Genesis 30:18, Leah said,
00:26:18
"God has given me my wages because I
00:26:20
gave my servant to my husband. So she
00:26:22
called his name Issachar." Okay, so this
00:26:25
is actually really important. The NIV
00:26:27
would render this as rewards. Okay?
00:26:30
Issachar would be a reward or a wage.
00:26:32
It's similar to how Hebrews says that
00:26:34
anyone who comes to God must believe
00:26:35
that he exists and that he rewards those
00:26:37
who diligently seek him. So what Leah is
00:26:40
indicating here is that God rewarded her
00:26:43
for sharing her ser servant with her
00:26:45
husband to be a wife. So Rachel and Leah
00:26:48
had Zilpa and Bilha become additional
00:26:50
wives for Jacob. And all four of these
00:26:54
women produced the 12 tribes. So Ruth
00:26:57
4:1
00:26:58
says this. Then all the people who were
00:27:01
at the gate and the elders said, "We are
00:27:03
witnesses. May the Lord make the woman
00:27:04
who is coming into your house like
00:27:06
Rachel and Leah, who together built up
00:27:09
the house of Israel. May you act
00:27:11
worthily in Epheretha and be renowned in
00:27:14
Bethlehem." So building up the house of
00:27:16
Israel is absolutely a divine event. Uh
00:27:20
it would be insane to disagree with
00:27:22
that. So God acted providentially here
00:27:26
in producing the 12 tribes through four
00:27:28
wives. And to strengthen that
00:27:30
providential argument, I want you to
00:27:32
think about this with me. Uh Jacob
00:27:35
didn't even consent to marrying Leah.
00:27:38
Laban tricked him by bringing her into a
00:27:40
dark room. And once he entered the
00:27:42
virgin, he was married to her. Co. So
00:27:45
when he woke up, he was like, "Whoa,
00:27:46
what is this?" When you look at the big
00:27:48
picture, the grand narrative of the
00:27:50
Bible, God was working in that because
00:27:53
God wanted Jacob married to each of
00:27:56
these four women so that they would
00:27:58
build up the house of Israel. You must
00:28:00
understand divine providence in order to
00:28:03
understand what was happening with
00:28:04
Israel. All of this has to do with the
00:28:07
Messiah. Jacob is listed as one of the
00:28:10
seven honored polygamists in the
00:28:12
Messianic lineage. He's one of the
00:28:15
ancestors of Jesus listed in Matthew
00:28:17
1:es 1-17. So God fully was working in
00:28:23
this narrative to bring the Messiah. And
00:28:25
I believe this is I'm submitting this
00:28:27
for you to consider. I believe that God
00:28:30
used polygyny in order to diversify the
00:28:34
descendants of Abraham and to ensure
00:28:36
that the devil didn't really know
00:28:38
exactly where the Messiah was coming
00:28:40
from. And I believe what confirms this
00:28:43
that God was using polygyny tactically
00:28:46
was that Herod acting on behalf of the
00:28:48
devil just ordered to have all the kids
00:28:51
killed when Jesus was being born. In
00:28:53
other words, Satan could not keep track
00:28:56
of the seed of Abraham. Did not know
00:28:59
exactly where the Messiah was coming
00:29:00
from and couldn't keep up with it. So,
00:29:03
he just tried to wipe them all out.
00:29:05
Really similar with Moses as well. Let's
00:29:07
move on to the next one. So, Solomon
00:29:09
builds the temple. Again, this is a
00:29:11
divine event. Now, you go, "Well,
00:29:13
Solomon, he was he was a big sinner in
00:29:15
this polygyny area." I would argue and
00:29:18
contend using scripture, which I'm about
00:29:20
to do, that Solomon's sin was never
00:29:22
polygyny. Solomon's sin was the taking
00:29:25
of foreign wives, which was a violation
00:29:28
of Deuteronomy 7:es 3 and 4. Let's take
00:29:31
a look at it in scripture. 1st
00:29:33
Chronicles 28:es 3-5. But God said to
00:29:36
me, "You may not build a house for my
00:29:38
name, for you are a man of war and have
00:29:40
shed blood." Yet the Lord God of Israel
00:29:43
chose me from all my father's house to
00:29:45
be king over Israel forever. For he
00:29:48
chose Judah as leader, and in the house
00:29:50
of Judah, my father's house, and among
00:29:52
my father's sons. He took pleasure in me
00:29:55
to make me king over all Israel. And of
00:29:58
all my sons, for the Lord has given me
00:30:00
many sons. Uh, notice that David is
00:30:03
referring to all of his children as
00:30:05
being from the Lord. God did it. This
00:30:07
was God's doing. In other words, he's
00:30:09
validating the marriages because these
00:30:11
are not bastard children. Verse 5, and
00:30:13
of all my sons, for the Lord has given
00:30:15
me many sons. He has chosen Solomon, my
00:30:18
son, to sit on the throne of the kingdom
00:30:19
of the Lord over Israel. Solomon is not
00:30:22
a legitimate child. Then he would not be
00:30:24
able to sit on the throne over the
00:30:26
kingdom of of of Israel. Okay? So he
00:30:29
wouldn't God wouldn't tolerate that if
00:30:31
he was a bastard child. In fact,
00:30:32
Deuteronomy makes the point uh there's a
00:30:34
law that states that bastard children
00:30:36
cannot even be in the congregation of
00:30:38
the Lord. So if he were a bastard, he
00:30:41
couldn't even be in the congregation and
00:30:42
let alone he and instead he actually is
00:30:46
going to build the temple. First Kings
00:30:49
15:es 4 and 5 says this. Nevertheless,
00:30:52
for David's sake, the Lord his God gave
00:30:55
him a lamp in Jerusalem, setting up his
00:30:57
son after him and establishing
00:30:59
Jerusalem. That's Solomon. Uh verse 5,
00:31:01
because David did what was right in the
00:31:03
eyes of the Lord and did not turn aside
00:31:05
from anything that he commanded him all
00:31:06
the days of his life, except in the
00:31:08
matter of Uriah the Hitittite. That
00:31:10
means when David took Abigail and
00:31:12
Ahinoam as his wives, he didn't do
00:31:14
anything wrong. When he took Saul's
00:31:17
former wives as his wives, he didn't do
00:31:19
anything wrong. When he took other
00:31:20
lawful wives, he didn't do anything
00:31:22
wrong. The one time he sinned in the
00:31:24
area of sex and marriage was with Bath
00:31:27
Sheeba, Uriah the Hitittite's wife. He
00:31:29
he lost his first son, his first child
00:31:32
with Bath Sheeba. That was the
00:31:34
punishment because he wouldn't repent.
00:31:36
When he did repent, God recognized the
00:31:39
marriage because Uriah was dead and
00:31:41
granted him Solomon. And Solomon went on
00:31:44
to build the temple. These are divine
00:31:45
events. In fact, I've heard rabbis talk
00:31:47
about this and they said that Solomon
00:31:49
was always going to exist based on the
00:31:51
providence of God. But uh that David did
00:31:54
not have to kill Uriah. Uriah would have
00:31:56
died naturally and David would have
00:31:58
naturally become the husband of Ba
00:32:02
Sheeba because God had always willed
00:32:04
that. So David sped up the timeline and
00:32:07
didn't wait like he did with Abigail. If
00:32:10
you remember in the story of Abigail, if
00:32:11
you don't if you're not familiar, you
00:32:12
need to get to know these stories. Um,
00:32:15
Abigail was the wife of Nibbal. Nibbal
00:32:17
is a wicked man. David uh clearly was
00:32:21
attracted to her because he calls for
00:32:22
her to be his wife as soon as Nibal
00:32:24
dies. But before Nibal dies, you know,
00:32:27
he he doesn't commit adultery with her
00:32:31
and he uh proceeds to not harm Nibal
00:32:34
either. And God puts Nibal to death and
00:32:37
then David sends for Abigail so he's
00:32:39
able to marry her. So this is really
00:32:41
important to understand that David did
00:32:43
not sin in any other circumstances and
00:32:45
also that God was going to give him
00:32:47
Ba'ath Sheba but he needed to be patient
00:32:49
and wait for the timing of the Lord
00:32:51
because Uriah was a good man and he was
00:32:54
a loyal man and it really was evil. So
00:32:56
that's why God punished David so uh
00:32:58
fiercely in the scriptures. Uh okay and
00:33:01
one more point about u Solomon in
00:33:05
Nehemiah 13:26. This just confirms that
00:33:08
Solomon's sin was not polygyny but
00:33:10
actually the violation of Deuteronomy 7
00:33:12
3 and4 where you're commanded not to
00:33:14
take foreign wives says this verse 26
00:33:16
Nehemiah 13:26
00:33:19
did not Solomon king of Israel sin on
00:33:21
account of such women among the many
00:33:23
nations there was no king like him and
00:33:25
he was beloved by his God and God made
00:33:27
him king over all Israel nevertheless
00:33:30
foreign women made even him to sin what
00:33:34
does the prophet Nehemiah say was the
00:33:36
sin of Solomon
00:33:38
foreign women. Does he say polygyny was
00:33:40
the sin? No, because polygyny is not a
00:33:43
sin. Deuteronomy 7:es 3 and 4, you shall
00:33:46
not intermar with them, giving your
00:33:48
daughters to their sons or taking their
00:33:50
daughters for your sons, for they would
00:33:52
turn away your sons from following me to
00:33:54
serve other gods. Then the anger of the
00:33:57
Lord would be kindled against you, and
00:33:59
he would destroy you quickly. So for
00:34:02
descriptive, not prescriptive, that's
00:34:04
nonsense. I've literally read you the
00:34:06
prescription of leverate marriage. The
00:34:08
prescription of the high priest to
00:34:09
Joash. The prescription of God to David
00:34:12
in 2 Samuel. Uh the prescription of
00:34:14
multiple wives to Abraham so that he
00:34:16
would be the father of many nations. The
00:34:18
prescription of multiple wives to Jacob
00:34:20
so that he would uh give uh create the
00:34:23
12 tribes of Israel through those four
00:34:25
wives. Um the prescription of Solomon
00:34:28
building the temple. Okay. In order for
00:34:31
Solomon to exist, polygyny was
00:34:33
practiced. No, adultery did not have to
00:34:36
be practiced. But ultimately, polygyny
00:34:38
would have been practiced and Solomon
00:34:40
was going to exist one way or another
00:34:42
because God always, if you understand
00:34:44
divine providence, had planned through
00:34:46
his fornowledge for Solomon to build the
00:34:49
temple. Okay? And then the Messiah is
00:34:52
born of seven uh polygamists uh or
00:34:56
polygynists, however you'd like to say
00:34:58
it. Um the the seven that are listed in
00:35:02
Matthew 1:es 1-17 are Abraham, Jacob,
00:35:05
David, Solomon, Riaboam, Abijah, and
00:35:08
Josiah. All of these men are recorded in
00:35:11
the Old Testament have as having
00:35:12
multiple wives. None of them repented. I
00:35:15
want you to hear this. I want you to
00:35:17
hear this. I want you to overcome your
00:35:19
cognitive bias. None of these men
00:35:21
repented of polygyny. If it's adultery
00:35:23
and they're adulterers, that would put
00:35:25
them in hell because they lived in
00:35:28
unrepentant sin and they perished in
00:35:30
that sin, that would place them in hell.
00:35:33
But we actually see in the scriptures,
00:35:34
Matthew 8:1, I tell you, many will come
00:35:38
from east and west and recline at table
00:35:42
with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the
00:35:44
kingdom of heaven. Abraham had multiple
00:35:48
wives. Isaac did not. Jacob had multiple
00:35:50
wives. They're all stated as being in
00:35:53
the kingdom of heaven, which wouldn't be
00:35:54
possible if they had died in sin. So
00:35:57
these unrepentant
00:35:59
polygamists are in heaven. Why? Because
00:36:01
they didn't need to repent of polygyny.
00:36:04
It is lawful. And then I believe our
00:36:08
final point for prescribed uh rather
00:36:11
than described is Isaiah 3 and Isaiah 4.
00:36:15
Isaiah 3 16-26 actually dives into the
00:36:19
feminism the spirit of feminism like the
00:36:21
spirit of Jezebel uh and the spirit of
00:36:23
Vashi in in the story of Esther. This
00:36:26
spirit attaching itself to the daughters
00:36:28
of Zion which the daughters of Zion are
00:36:31
all the Christian women the the the
00:36:33
believers in Christ the believers in the
00:36:35
Messiah. In fact, this is a messianic
00:36:37
prophecy that these women will be full
00:36:39
of feminism. And that's where we're at
00:36:41
right now. We're in Isaiah 3 right now.
00:36:44
If you want to understand Bible
00:36:45
prophecy, go read Isaiah 3. We're in
00:36:48
that right now and we're going to exit
00:36:52
that and enter into Isaiah 4.
00:36:54
Unfortunately, it's going to be as a
00:36:56
result of quite a bit of hardship as
00:36:57
you'll see here. Uh but ultimately, it's
00:37:00
going to happen and you will see in
00:37:01
Isaiah 4, polygyny is prescribed. Let's
00:37:05
read it. Isaiah 3 16- 26. The Lord said,
00:37:09
"Because the daughters of Zion," again,
00:37:11
these are the Christians, the believers,
00:37:13
true Israel, "because the daughters of
00:37:15
Zion are hottie and walk with
00:37:17
outstretched necks, glancing wantingly
00:37:20
with their eyes, mincing along as they
00:37:23
go, tinkling with their feet. Therefore,
00:37:26
the Lord will strike with a scab the
00:37:28
heads of the daughters of Zion, and the
00:37:30
Lord will lay bear their secret parts."
00:37:33
Okay. So, he's bringing shame on them
00:37:35
because they've acted uh like Vashi
00:37:38
instead of Esther. If you want to
00:37:39
understand the difference between women,
00:37:41
just look at Vashi and Esther. Vashi is
00:37:45
repulsive. She's in rebellion to God and
00:37:47
her husband. She's exactly who not to
00:37:50
be. And Esther is the gentle, quiet
00:37:53
spirit that that 1 Peter 3 talks about
00:37:56
that God is seeking from a woman. And
00:37:58
that's why he elevates her to the wife
00:38:00
of, you know, the emperor and she saves
00:38:02
the Jewish people. It's an incredible
00:38:04
story. And she does so by being a good,
00:38:07
submissive, gentle-spirited wife who
00:38:10
loves her husband versus Vashi the
00:38:11
feminist. Just like Jezebel the
00:38:13
feminist. Okay. Okay. Verse 18. Isaiah
00:38:15
3:18. In that day the Lord will take
00:38:18
away the finery of the anklets, the
00:38:20
headbands and the crescent, the
00:38:22
pendants, the bracelets and the scarves,
00:38:24
the headdresses, the armlets, the
00:38:26
sashes, the perfume boxes and the
00:38:28
amulets, the signant rings and nose
00:38:30
rings, the festal robes, the mantels,
00:38:33
the cloaks and the handbags, the
00:38:35
mirrors, the linen garments, the turbans
00:38:37
and the veils. Instead of perfume, there
00:38:39
will be rottness and instead of a belt,
00:38:42
a rope. And instead of well set hair,
00:38:44
baldness, and instead of a rich robe, a
00:38:46
skirt of sackcloth, and branding,
00:38:49
instead of beauty, your men shall fall
00:38:51
by the sword, and your mighty men in
00:38:54
battle, and her gates shall lament and
00:38:56
mourn empty. She shall sit on the
00:39:00
ground. Okay? So, uh, instead of
00:39:03
perfume, there's rottness. So, the curse
00:39:05
comes upon them. And in fact, a lot of
00:39:06
their husbands and the men die because
00:39:10
they uh there's a lot of tumultuousness
00:39:12
here in the last days. You can already
00:39:14
see it brewing. And then Isaiah 4 is
00:39:17
literally the continuation of that story
00:39:20
and the return of the Messiah, which by
00:39:22
the way, if you don't know anything
00:39:24
about prophecy, the branch of the Lord
00:39:26
is a messianic symbol that's used more
00:39:28
than once in scripture uh that indicates
00:39:30
the return of Jesus. Okay. Now, let's
00:39:33
read this. Isaiah 4 verse one. and seven
00:39:36
women shall take hold of one man in that
00:39:39
day, saying, "We will eat our own bread
00:39:41
and wear our own clothes. Only let us be
00:39:44
called by your name. Take away our
00:39:46
reproach." So, they're willing to
00:39:48
provide for themselves. Uh because the
00:39:51
men are in a position that they weren't
00:39:53
necessarily planning to take on seven
00:39:55
wives, which can be a very expensive
00:39:57
endeavor. Um and so they're saying,
00:40:00
"Well, we'll eat our own bread. We'll
00:40:01
wear our own clothes." In other words,
00:40:03
we'll we'll do that provisional side,
00:40:05
but let us be called by your name. Take
00:40:07
us as wives. Take away our reproach. Let
00:40:10
us have your last name. Let us be part
00:40:12
of your family. Uh because we want to
00:40:14
repent of this feminism that we were in
00:40:16
before. And we want to be submissive
00:40:19
wives, eager to bear children, eager to
00:40:21
serve the Lord and to build up the
00:40:23
kingdom of God. And so this is the shift
00:40:25
of the pride and arrogance of feminism
00:40:28
to the humility of proper uh marital
00:40:32
roles and and proper femininity. And
00:40:35
they are even willing to share a good
00:40:38
godly man. That is the sign of truly
00:40:40
being delivered from the feminist spirit
00:40:42
is that a woman is willing to share. Not
00:40:44
that she's going to have to or that
00:40:46
she's called to, but that she's willing
00:40:48
to. She has the heart of Jesus and that
00:40:50
is not my will but your will be done. If
00:40:53
my godly husband needs to have more
00:40:55
wives, that's good, right? So, a godly
00:40:58
man with two wives, three wives, four
00:40:59
wives is going to produce more children.
00:41:02
More children who have a godly father is
00:41:04
good for the church and society. And the
00:41:07
women realize this. Okay. Verse two. In
00:41:10
that day, the branch of the Lord shall
00:41:11
be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit
00:41:13
of the land shall be the pride and honor
00:41:15
of the survivors in Israel. And he who
00:41:18
is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem
00:41:20
will be called holy. everyone who has
00:41:22
been recorded for life in Jerusalem. And
00:41:24
when the Lord shall have washed away the
00:41:26
filth of the daughters of Zion, that's
00:41:29
feminism. That feminism is filth, the
00:41:31
filth of the daughters of Zion, and
00:41:33
cleansed the blood stains of Jerusalem
00:41:36
from its midst by a spirit of judgment
00:41:38
and by a spirit of burning. Then the
00:41:40
Lord will create over the whole sight of
00:41:42
Mount Zion, and over her assemblies, a
00:41:44
cloud by day, and smoke, and the shining
00:41:47
of a flaming fire by night. For over all
00:41:50
the glory there will be a canopy. There
00:41:52
will be a booth for shade by day from
00:41:54
the heat and for a refuge and a shelter
00:41:57
from the storm and rain. I believe we
00:42:00
have completed our point that polygyny
00:42:03
is absolutely prescribed throughout the
00:42:06
scriptures not just described. That is a
00:42:10
fallacy. That argument is not true. and
00:42:13
we have just literally obliterated it
00:42:15
with a ton of examples. These gentlemen
00:42:18
should have done a little bit more
00:42:19
study. Let's continue on with their next
00:42:22
statement where they're going to
00:42:23
conflate homosexuality with polygyny.
00:42:26
[gasps]
00:42:27
This is not all that shocking. It seems
00:42:29
shocking because it exists in one
00:42:30
direction, but for decades we have been
00:42:33
seeing people try to claim that the
00:42:34
Bible doesn't actually say what it says
00:42:36
about God's plan for marriage, about
00:42:37
sexuality, etc. You know, my particular
00:42:40
perversion is permissible. I don't know.
00:42:42
Who are we to judge, right? I've been
00:42:44
we've been told for decades.
00:42:45
>> Well, I mean, honestly,
00:42:47
>> okay, so before Andrew Wilson gets
00:42:49
started here, we need to address that
00:42:50
first and foremost. Um, conflating
00:42:54
homosexuality or sexual perversion with
00:42:56
polygyny is heresy. It's tragic. Uh, the
00:42:59
patriarchs are not perverts. Okay? So,
00:43:02
the you have to understand when you make
00:43:04
statements, you are implying something
00:43:07
about all those who practiced that
00:43:09
institution. So homosexuals are
00:43:11
perverts. Sure. Polygenist patriarchs
00:43:15
are not perverts. They're beetting
00:43:17
children. In fact, St. Augustine makes
00:43:19
this point in on the good of marriage
00:43:21
chapter 33. He says that the patriarchs
00:43:24
were not incontinent but that they were
00:43:27
um actually beetting children with these
00:43:30
women and that there was no divine law
00:43:33
that prohibited it and they were not
00:43:35
sinning. So St. Augustine actually goes
00:43:37
so far as to say anyone who says the
00:43:39
patriarchs were sinning is a heretic
00:43:42
because and heresy is opinion instead of
00:43:45
scripture is a heretic because there is
00:43:48
no divine law. Now he argues that it's
00:43:51
against Roman custom and therefore you
00:43:53
shouldn't do it. So he's pro monogamy
00:43:56
anti-polygyny. But in on the good of
00:43:58
marriage chapter 33 he says very clearly
00:44:02
that it is not a sin okay to practice
00:44:06
polygyny. This is chapter 33 or section
00:44:08
33. It says this and the case being thus
00:44:12
enough and more than enough answer has
00:44:15
been made to the heretics whether they
00:44:17
be manaches or whosoever other that
00:44:19
bring false charges against the fathers
00:44:21
of the old testament on the subject of
00:44:23
their having several wives. Thinking
00:44:26
this a proof whereby to convict them of
00:44:28
incontinence, provided that is that they
00:44:31
perceive that that is no sin which is
00:44:34
committed neither against nature and
00:44:36
that they use those women not for
00:44:38
wantedness, but for the beginning of
00:44:40
children, nor against custom, for as
00:44:42
much as such things were usually done at
00:44:45
those times, nor against command, for as
00:44:48
much as they were forbidden by no law.
00:44:51
But such as used women unlawfully,
00:44:54
either the divine sentence in those
00:44:56
scriptures convicts them or the reading
00:44:58
sets them forth for us to condemn and
00:45:00
shun, not to approve or imitate. Now, as
00:45:03
I stated before, St. Augustine is he
00:45:06
argues on the basis of Roman custom not
00:45:08
to practice polygyny. So, he is a Roman
00:45:11
Catholic. Uh he's from the fourth
00:45:14
entering into the fifth century.
00:45:16
However, he is intellectually honest
00:45:19
when he declares that according to
00:45:21
divine law, no sin is committed when
00:45:24
polygyny is practiced and the patriarchs
00:45:26
are not guilty of sin. Okay. Also
00:45:31
conflating homosexuality with polygyny
00:45:34
being a this it really is heresy. Um
00:45:37
because homosexuality is and results in
00:45:40
extinction
00:45:41
whereas uh and just like abortion. So
00:45:44
homosexuality and abortion, these both
00:45:46
result in extinction. It's an
00:45:48
abomination. The scriptures are very
00:45:50
clear that it's an abomination, which is
00:45:52
what's incredible. Let's look at that in
00:45:53
the scriptures. Leviticus 18:22, "You
00:45:57
shall not lie with a male as with a
00:45:59
woman, it is an abomination." Okay.
00:46:02
Leviticus 20:13. If a man lies with a
00:46:05
male as with a woman, both of them have
00:46:08
committed an abomination. They shall
00:46:10
surely be put to death. their blood is
00:46:13
upon them. So homosexuality results in
00:46:16
the extinction of man. Uh heterosexual
00:46:19
polygyny is procreative in nature and it
00:46:23
actually results in the proliferation of
00:46:26
progeny not the reduction of the
00:46:29
population. So I don't know what these
00:46:33
guys are doing but I've seen this a lot
00:46:34
on Twitter as well or X. Uh, I'm a I'm
00:46:37
an elder millennial, so I'm used to
00:46:39
calling it Twitter. But, um, I've seen a
00:46:43
lot of people make this argument of
00:46:45
conflating homosexuality with polygyny.
00:46:48
And homosexuality is on the extinction
00:46:50
end of the spectrum and polygyny is on
00:46:53
the procreation end of the spectrum. So,
00:46:56
no, they're not able to be combined. One
00:46:59
is explicitly declared sin. One is not
00:47:02
only not declared sin, it's regulated
00:47:04
lawfully by God. And then it's divinely
00:47:06
ordained and prescribed multiple times
00:47:09
as I already showed you. Okay. So look
00:47:11
at Genesis 1:28. This is the first
00:47:15
written commandment in the Bible. First
00:47:18
sexual commandment. In fact, I believe
00:47:20
and would argue that every sexual
00:47:22
commandment stems from this one. Why is
00:47:25
homosexuality sin? It violates be
00:47:28
fruitful multiply. Why is bestiality
00:47:30
sin? It violates be fruitful multiply.
00:47:33
Why is incest or adultery sin? Because
00:47:35
it harms the children. Even if children
00:47:37
come into existence, it harms them. Why
00:47:40
is polygyny not sin? Because it's not
00:47:43
adultery. It's not harming the the
00:47:46
female or the child. The female
00:47:49
consensually agrees to be your wife. you
00:47:51
produce offspring and you're being
00:47:53
fruitful, multiplying, and she
00:47:55
ultimately is fulfilling 1 Timothy 2:15,
00:47:58
which says women or wives will be saved
00:48:01
through childbearing. What does that
00:48:03
mean? It means that it's part of their
00:48:05
sanctification process. Okay? If they're
00:48:07
not in full-time ministry, they're
00:48:09
supposed to be married and making
00:48:10
babies. This is why the New Testament
00:48:12
commands procreation so many times. All
00:48:14
right? We're going to look at some of
00:48:15
this in scripture. Genesis 1:28. And God
00:48:18
blessed them. And God said to them, "Be
00:48:20
fruitful and multiply and fill the earth
00:48:22
and subdue it and have dominion over the
00:48:24
fish of the sea and over the birds of
00:48:25
the heavens and over every living thing
00:48:27
that moves on the earth." So be
00:48:29
fruitful, multiply is the guiding
00:48:32
premier um you know apex passage
00:48:35
regarding sex and sexuality. Okay? And
00:48:39
it's also the first written commandment
00:48:40
in the Bible. So the first commandment
00:48:42
we're ever introduced to is a sexual
00:48:44
commandment. And I want to remind you of
00:48:46
this. John the Baptist was beheaded due
00:48:49
to marriage law and sexual law. He went
00:48:51
and told Herod and Herodiius their
00:48:52
marriage was adulterous and not allowed
00:48:54
because Herodiius's uh husband was still
00:48:57
alive. She divorced him, but he was
00:48:59
still alive. So, she's still one flesh
00:49:01
with him cuz he's not dead. So, their
00:49:03
marriage was adulterous. Okay? And he
00:49:05
told them they got ticked off about it
00:49:07
and they beheaded him. Do you realize
00:49:09
that they beheaded John the Baptist over
00:49:11
marriage law? Okay? People get really
00:49:13
upset about marriage law. Be careful
00:49:16
that your flesh doesn't take over when
00:49:18
we're talking about marriage law. Walk
00:49:20
in the spirit. Walk in peace. Seek peace
00:49:22
and pursue it as the psalmist says.
00:49:24
Okay. All right. Malachi 2:15. Did he
00:49:27
not make them one with a portion of the
00:49:29
spirit in their union? And what was the
00:49:30
one God seeking? Godly offspring. So
00:49:34
guard yourselves in your spirit and let
00:49:36
none of you be faithless to the wife of
00:49:38
your youth. God is looking for godly
00:49:41
offspring. So you have you have the
00:49:43
beginning of the Old Testament, Genesis,
00:49:45
and the end of the Old Testament,
00:49:46
Malachi. Both of them telling you, "Make
00:49:49
babies." Okay, make babies. And then God
00:49:51
is silent for I think 400 years in
00:49:54
between uh Malachi and then John the
00:49:56
Baptist appearing. And then look at
00:49:58
this. The New Testament again, same
00:50:00
concept. I quoted this a moment ago. 1
00:50:02
Timothy chapter 2:15. Yet she or women
00:50:05
or wives, you can translate that word
00:50:07
several ways. Yet she will be saved
00:50:08
through childbearing if they women or
00:50:12
wives continue in faith and love and
00:50:15
holiness with self-control. So women
00:50:18
will be saved. That word there is soo.
00:50:20
It means forgiven and healed. It's part
00:50:22
of the sanctification process. She'll be
00:50:24
saved through childbearing. This is part
00:50:26
of a woman's sanctification. That's why
00:50:28
abortion and contraception and rebellion
00:50:32
against be fruitful and multiply is so
00:50:34
high is because women are in a state of
00:50:36
fleshly sin right now at a high level in
00:50:40
the west and that's why they're fighting
00:50:42
against childbearing because that's holy
00:50:44
and that's part of their sanctification.
00:50:46
Okay? And it is for us as well. But the
00:50:48
woman goes through the bearing of the
00:50:49
child um the breastfeeding of the child.
00:50:52
You know her body goes through a lot.
00:50:53
It's a very sanctifying process. She
00:50:55
literally lays her body down for her
00:50:58
child and ultimately for the divine will
00:51:00
of God. 1 Timothy 5:14. So I would have
00:51:05
younger widows marry, bear children,
00:51:08
manage their households, and give the
00:51:09
adversary no occasion for slander. So in
00:51:11
the same letter, Paul's writing to
00:51:13
Timothy some instructions to him. Uh
00:51:15
because Timothy is now going to be
00:51:16
pastoring a flock or shephering a flock.
00:51:18
And he's saying, "Look, have the women
00:51:21
be married. Okay, this is really
00:51:22
important. Have the young widows marry.
00:51:24
have the available women marry. Anybody
00:51:26
who can lawfully marry, have them marry.
00:51:28
You know, let and like he says in 1
00:51:29
Corinthians chapter 7:2, let each woman
00:51:32
have her own husband. Okay, so here it
00:51:34
is in 1 Corinthians 7:2. But because of
00:51:37
the temptation of sexual immorality,
00:51:39
each man should have his own wife and
00:51:40
each woman her own husband. Now, pause
00:51:42
right there just for a minute. Go to
00:51:45
richtidwell.com and read on plural
00:51:47
marriage. I explain this in detail
00:51:51
there. Okay? Um, you can also read my
00:51:53
letter to the Anglicans, uh, which is
00:51:56
available on a different article at
00:51:57
richtidwell.com. It's on should
00:51:59
polygamous families be welcome at
00:52:01
church. Um, either of those texts, you
00:52:04
can read them and I dive into 1
00:52:05
Corinthians 7:2. And I'll tell you this,
00:52:08
uh, if you download an app called
00:52:10
Literal Word onto your phone, whether
00:52:12
it's Android or iPhone, it's free. It
00:52:14
has the lexicon built in. It's the
00:52:15
Abbott Smith Lexicon. Hold down the word
00:52:19
own for [clears throat] the husband and
00:52:20
the word own for the wife. And you'll
00:52:22
see it's two different words. It is uh
00:52:25
huttow and idios or idon. Okay, huttow
00:52:29
is exclusive ownership. Okay, a husband
00:52:32
exclusively owns his wife. Idios is a
00:52:35
weakened sense of ownership. Kind of
00:52:38
like owning a city. Okay, or owning a
00:52:40
language. The book of Acts uses it for
00:52:43
languages like they own their language.
00:52:45
Well, everybody shares that language or
00:52:47
they own their city. That's what's said
00:52:48
in the gospels. Okay. So, iddios or idon
00:52:52
is a weakened sense of ownership. And
00:52:55
Paul uses idios for the wife owning the
00:52:58
husband. It's a weakened sense of
00:53:00
ownership. In other words, in the first
00:53:02
century, he recognizes plural marriages.
00:53:04
He's not giving a protocol for divorce.
00:53:07
He recognizes that women share husbands.
00:53:09
It's literally part of Israel's long
00:53:11
history. And he's stating that each
00:53:14
woman should have her own husband. In
00:53:16
order for this to be fulfilled, friends,
00:53:18
when women outnumber men in the church,
00:53:20
polygyny must be practiced. Women will
00:53:24
end up sharing a husband if they obey
00:53:27
this commandment that each woman is to
00:53:29
have a godly believing husband. It's
00:53:32
just statistically a fact. We're going
00:53:35
to look at that later tonight. But let's
00:53:38
get into Andrew. Finally, we're at
00:53:40
Andrew Wilson and we're only a minute
00:53:42
and 38 into this video and I have uh had
00:53:46
to do a lot of work because they straw
00:53:48
manned me at the beginning. So, now
00:53:50
we're going to continue on. Andrew is
00:53:51
going to make some pretty bad statements
00:53:53
here right at the beginning and we're
00:53:54
going to rip those apart as well. Let's
00:53:56
go.ly.
00:53:58
It's hard for me to care as much
00:53:59
anymore. I used to hit this issue hard
00:54:01
on polygyny
00:54:03
>> um with the multiple wives thing. And
00:54:05
you're right, it's not biblical and it's
00:54:07
completely immoral and it's totally
00:54:08
unjustified.
00:54:10
>> Okay, so three three rapid fire
00:54:12
statements. Not biblical. Well, I just
00:54:14
showed you it was biblical, Andrew. So,
00:54:16
that's not going to hold water. Um, not
00:54:19
moral. Okay, lots of support. No
00:54:21
prohibition. Morality is defined by
00:54:24
scripture and the law of God has not
00:54:26
declared polygyny sin. Therefore, it is
00:54:28
moral and God has participated in it.
00:54:30
Mr. Wilson, he he has participated in
00:54:33
giving men wives in the biblical
00:54:36
narrative. God doesn't sin. He's holy.
00:54:39
Be careful about your statements because
00:54:41
you are declaring not only the
00:54:42
patriarchs to be immoral, incontinent
00:54:45
perverts, but you're declaring God to be
00:54:49
those things. May it never be. God
00:54:52
forbid that idea. God is holy and moral.
00:54:57
And you need to watch your watch your
00:54:59
statements, my friends. Their
00:55:01
implications are important. Jesus said,
00:55:03
Andrew, Jesus said that we are going to
00:55:06
give an account for every careless word
00:55:08
we speak. I know you do a lot of shows.
00:55:10
I know you do a lot of debating, but
00:55:12
your careless words, you're going to
00:55:13
give an account for them. You got to
00:55:15
repent and stop just saying whatever
00:55:17
comes to mind. All right. Then you said
00:55:19
it's unjustified. Uh marriage is divine.
00:55:22
So I made that argument already. Matthew
00:55:24
19:6 and all those others. Uh what God
00:55:26
has joined together, let no man
00:55:27
separate. And I've already proven that
00:55:28
God joined David to his wives, Jacob to
00:55:30
his wives, Abraham to his wives, so on
00:55:33
and so forth. Uh, but I would present
00:55:35
it's absolutely justified on the basis
00:55:37
of the birth rates being at 1.6 children
00:55:40
per women, which I'm going to talk about
00:55:42
a little more deeply because you're
00:55:44
going to bring up a study in a minute
00:55:45
that um, and I well, you're going to
00:55:47
bring up a statistic that you don't cite
00:55:49
anything. Um, and I'm going to give you
00:55:51
a study that actually refutes that
00:55:53
statistic. So, but again, it's totally
00:55:56
justified. We are in red alert. I don't
00:55:58
know why conservatives are acting like
00:56:00
this isn't a big deal. Elon Musk is
00:56:02
correct. 1.6 for the birth weight rate
00:56:05
when Muslims are replacing at like three
00:56:08
children and higher um is very dangerous
00:56:11
for the West. And you need to get a
00:56:13
little more serious about this, Andrew.
00:56:15
I mean, this is this is not a game. 1.6
00:56:18
and it's 1.6 at the status quo that you
00:56:21
think is so great. It's 1.6 6. If we if
00:56:25
doing it the way you think works,
00:56:28
monogamy only, we're at 1.6, friend.
00:56:31
Time to try something new. Um, okay.
00:56:33
Divinity of marriage. Now, I want to
00:56:35
present this to Andrew. I don't think
00:56:36
he's ever considered this argument
00:56:38
before. Okay. Sin is on the basis of
00:56:41
what the scriptures define. Let me pull
00:56:42
this up. Um, sin is lawlessness or sin
00:56:45
is transgression of the law. Where
00:56:47
there's no law, there's no
00:56:48
transgression. We established this with
00:56:49
him. I'm sure that he's not considered
00:56:52
this. And I'm presenting this to you,
00:56:53
Andrew. I'd love to debate this with
00:56:55
you. Luke 18 29 and 30. This is Jesus
00:56:58
speaking. He says this, "And he said to
00:57:00
them, truly I say to you, there's no one
00:57:02
who has left house or wife or brothers
00:57:04
or parents or children for the sake of
00:57:06
the kingdom of God, who will not receive
00:57:08
many times more in this time and in the
00:57:12
age to come, eternal life." What's Jesus
00:57:15
saying there? Well, if you understand
00:57:18
ministry, if you've ever been in
00:57:19
full-time ministry, Mr. Wilson. I'm not
00:57:20
sure you have, but other ministers would
00:57:22
understand this. You often have to leave
00:57:24
house, wife, children, brothers,
00:57:25
parents, all kinds of people behind to
00:57:27
go do what God has called you to do. So,
00:57:28
I've spent months in other countries
00:57:31
preaching, okay? I've spent months in
00:57:34
Argentina and South America. I've spent
00:57:35
extended periods in Africa. Um, you can
00:57:40
be gone for a long time. You leave your
00:57:42
family for a long time. Okay? Jesus is
00:57:44
saying when you are at that level of
00:57:46
commitment, he will multiply these
00:57:49
things in your life. Now, I want to
00:57:51
point back to 2 Samuel 12. Okay? What
00:57:53
happened there? God said, "I gave you
00:57:56
your master's house and your master's
00:57:58
wives and Israel and Judah. I gave you
00:58:00
all these things. I would have given you
00:58:01
even more." Jesus is the image of the
00:58:05
father. Okay? He's the word of God made
00:58:08
flesh. And everything that the father
00:58:10
does, the son also does. That's what
00:58:12
John 5 says. That's what Jesus said.
00:58:14
Okay,
00:58:16
Jesus just listed several things. House,
00:58:18
wife, brothers, parents, children, and
00:58:20
then he says, "I'll multiply it." Look
00:58:23
at verse 30. Who will not receive many
00:58:24
times more in this time? So, we know
00:58:27
he's not talking about heaven. He's
00:58:28
talking about right now. So, here's my
00:58:30
question to you, Andrew, and everybody
00:58:31
who's anti-plamgamy. Okay. Can Jesus
00:58:34
multiply houses for a person? Well,
00:58:36
yeah. I don't think anybody would
00:58:38
disagree with that in the list. How
00:58:39
about brothers? Yeah, we're all brothers
00:58:41
in Christ. He can multiply brothers.
00:58:43
Parents, yeah, even Jesus indicated that
00:58:45
whoever does the will of God is my
00:58:47
mother and my brother and my sister. So,
00:58:49
he certainly does that. Children, yeah,
00:58:50
of course, God can give us more
00:58:52
children. The scriptures say that
00:58:53
children are a reward from the Lord.
00:58:54
Okay. But wife is in the list, Mr.
00:58:57
Wilson. Wife is in the list. Can wife be
00:59:00
multiplied or is wife exempted? And how
00:59:04
is wife exempted?
00:59:06
On what basis other than prejudice and
00:59:09
bias? What scripture would indicate,
00:59:12
I've got 2 Samuel 12 78, God multiplies
00:59:15
wives for David. On what basis
00:59:17
scripturally do you deny that wife can
00:59:20
be multiplied by Jesus? Because Jesus
00:59:22
here is saying that that whole list can
00:59:24
be multiplied. Good luck with that one,
00:59:26
Andrew. Let's continue on. But didn't
00:59:29
they just marry four guys?
00:59:31
>> It's so simp they they just
00:59:33
>> All right, bringing up conflating
00:59:35
homosexuality and polygyny. Once again,
00:59:37
this is just an echo chamber. Um they
00:59:40
are polar opposites. One is procreative,
00:59:43
one is destructive. Polyandry is
00:59:45
unlawful. In fact um in Romans chapter 7
00:59:51
uh well Romans 1:26 and 27. For this
00:59:53
reason God gave them up to dishonorable
00:59:55
passions. For the women exchanged
00:59:57
natural relations for those that are
00:59:58
contrary to nature. And the men likewise
01:00:01
gave up natural relations with women and
01:00:03
were consumed with passion for one
01:00:04
another. men committing shameless acts
01:00:06
with men and receiving in themselves the
01:00:08
due penalty for their error. Uh some
01:00:10
people try and point out that the women
01:00:11
are allowed to have sexual relations
01:00:13
with each other. That's gross. That's
01:00:14
not true. Um if you notice, the word
01:00:17
likewise in the Greek is used here and
01:00:19
the word actually combines and it's
01:00:21
saying that the men in the exact same
01:00:23
way as the women were having homosexual
01:00:26
relations. So both are unlawful in the
01:00:27
eyes of God. uh Romans 7:es 2 and 3. For
01:00:30
a married woman is bound by law to her
01:00:32
husband while he lives. But if her
01:00:34
husband dies, she is released from the
01:00:36
law of marriage. Accordingly, she will
01:00:38
be called an adulteress if she lives
01:00:39
with another man uh while her husband is
01:00:41
alive. But if her husband dies, she is
01:00:43
free from that law. And if she marries
01:00:44
another man, she is not an adulteress. I
01:00:46
way prefer the NASB's translation here
01:00:48
because it says if she joins herself to
01:00:50
another man, it's talking about sexual
01:00:52
intercourse, not just living together.
01:00:54
This is kind of like Christianes built
01:00:56
into the ESV here. um joined together.
01:00:59
So if she's joined with a man who's not
01:01:01
her husband, it's adultery. This is why
01:01:04
Jesus says of the divorced woman, any
01:01:05
man who marries a divorced woman commits
01:01:07
adultery. If the woman is one flesh with
01:01:09
the believer, she is not available until
01:01:10
that believer dies. Period. Full stop.
01:01:13
Um so obviously we're not supporting
01:01:16
polyandry or homosexuality because we
01:01:18
don't believe that the wives can sleep
01:01:20
with each other. Uh and we don't believe
01:01:23
uh that that women can have other
01:01:24
husbands or any of that nonsense. So
01:01:26
polygyny is the only thing that's
01:01:28
righteous and lawful here that we're
01:01:29
discussing. There's celibacy, there's
01:01:31
heterosexual monogamy, heterosexual
01:01:33
polygyny, that's all lawful.
01:01:35
Homosexuality, even within polygyny,
01:01:37
unlawful. Polyandry, unlawful. So I just
01:01:40
want to clarify. We are not supporting
01:01:42
uh four guys marrying or polyamorous or
01:01:45
polyanderous relationships. Okay. And we
01:01:48
should not conflate them. Here we go.
01:01:50
>> Just married four guys. Yeah.
01:01:52
>> We have gay thrpples.
01:01:54
>> Yeah, they just married. They just short
01:01:55
of a restaurant.
01:01:57
>> Yeah, [laughter] we did that. Where was
01:01:58
that at? Do you remember?
01:01:59
>> Oh, it was somewhere in Europe, I think.
01:02:01
>> Yeah, just
01:02:03
someone's probably going to sell them a
01:02:04
baby. >> But the thing the thing is is like
01:02:06
>> it doesn't become a thing.
01:02:07
>> Oh, I think it was the UK.
01:02:08
>> Leftist logic can't ground any of this.
01:02:11
So, leftists can't really tell you that
01:02:12
this is immoral. They can't. Um because
01:02:15
if they make the claim that, well, three
01:02:18
people getting married is immoral,
01:02:20
right? How we would just ask them, well,
01:02:22
how would you ground that? They would
01:02:23
just say the societal consequences are
01:02:25
bad. Like I could do that.
01:02:27
>> Okay. So Andrew is actually making a
01:02:29
point that I would agree with. Uh
01:02:31
leftists couldn't claim that this is
01:02:32
immoral. My point to you, Andrew, is
01:02:34
neither can you. You notice that Andrew
01:02:38
is not citing a scripture here. He's not
01:02:40
saying that uh this is sin according to,
01:02:44
you know, it is written blah blah blah.
01:02:46
Right? There's no um scripture that says
01:02:49
polygyny is sin and an abomination. you
01:02:52
know, that's that's second opinions, you
01:02:54
know, chapter 1 verse two. That that's
01:02:57
just made up by the Romanized church.
01:03:00
Okay. What a lot of people don't realize
01:03:03
is Catholicism has had a tremendous
01:03:05
effect on all of Christian society and
01:03:08
in the negative sense because
01:03:11
Catholicism teaches tradition over
01:03:12
scripture. So, Catholicism is Roman and
01:03:16
Roman tradition was monogamy only. It's
01:03:18
not scriptural. It's not Hebraic. It's
01:03:20
not Israelite. It's It's not accurate.
01:03:23
It's not biblical to be monogamy only.
01:03:27
Celibacy, monogamy, or polygyny are all
01:03:29
righteous in the Bible. Monogamy only is
01:03:32
not acceptable. Okay. So, my point,
01:03:34
Andrew, leftists can't claim it's
01:03:36
immoral. You're right, but neither can
01:03:38
you. You can't sign a single Bible verse
01:03:41
that indicates it's immoral. And we've
01:03:43
already established this a few times,
01:03:44
but 1 John 3:4, sin is lawlessness or
01:03:47
sin is transgression of the law. Romans
01:03:49
4:15, uh, where there is no law, there
01:03:51
is no transgression. So you, there is no
01:03:54
sin. If you can't site a law, there's no
01:03:56
sin. Andrew, let's move on. With
01:03:59
homosexuality or any number of different
01:04:01
things. So that makes no sense as an
01:04:02
argument,
01:04:03
>> right?
01:04:04
>> Ultimately, this right, you're going to
01:04:06
see more of it under leftist rule
01:04:08
because they're going to have less and
01:04:10
less way to combat it with any sort of
01:04:12
ground. like how okay you're going to
01:04:15
see more of this under leftist rule is
01:04:17
nonsense because Israel was not under
01:04:19
leftist rule and polygamy was practiced
01:04:21
regularly starting with the patriarchs.
01:04:23
So that argument doesn't hold water. Uh
01:04:26
leftists hate procreative sex. I don't
01:04:29
know if you've noticed but homosexuality
01:04:31
doesn't produce children. Polyandry is
01:04:34
actually bottlenecking children. It's
01:04:35
it's causing men to not be able to have
01:04:37
kids cuz only one dude can have kids
01:04:39
with the wife at a time. and two, she
01:04:42
might have made them all get snipped
01:04:43
anyways, or she's on contraception, and
01:04:45
so she's just like a black hole. Um, so
01:04:48
no, these these other sexual deviencies,
01:04:51
these these acts that are clearly sin in
01:04:54
scripture, they are not procreative. So
01:04:56
LGBTQ stuff does not align. Notice that
01:05:00
there's not a P, it's not LGBTQ P
01:05:03
because polygyny is not part of that
01:05:05
movement. I don't know where you're
01:05:07
getting this conflation from, but it's
01:05:08
nonsense. Okay? Could they tell them no?
01:05:11
>> Yes,
01:05:12
>> they can't tell them no. That if they go
01:05:13
to them and say, "Look, how could this
01:05:15
possibly be worse for society than
01:05:17
homosexual monkey pox?" Right?
01:05:20
[laughter] Um they're not the the
01:05:22
argument back's going to be, "Well, I I
01:05:23
guess it's not." And you do you, bro, as
01:05:25
long as you're not hurting anybody.
01:05:26
>> My dad called it monkey around pox. I
01:05:28
think >> why we need why we need u uh you know,
01:05:31
monogamy more than anything else is
01:05:33
because we have an equal distribution of
01:05:35
men to women.
01:05:37
He doesn't cite anything to prove that
01:05:40
statement. And I can show you that there
01:05:42
is not an equal distribution of men to
01:05:44
women. Some studies show at birth
01:05:47
there's an almost equal distribution,
01:05:50
but not later in life and certainly not
01:05:52
in the church. There's a genetic study
01:05:53
that was done in 2014, pretty
01:05:55
substantial study. Female population has
01:05:57
always outnumbered males historically
01:05:59
according to our genes. So genetic
01:06:02
studies show that women do outnumber men
01:06:04
not just now but all throughout history.
01:06:07
This has always been a fact of history
01:06:09
that women outnumber men. And then I
01:06:12
also want to present to you um the
01:06:14
London School of Economics uh released a
01:06:17
study. I'm actually going to show oops
01:06:19
sorry I'm actually going to show this
01:06:20
study multiple times. This study
01:06:22
highlights that many of the fears around
01:06:24
the impacts of this practice, aka
01:06:25
polygyny, are unfounded and brings us
01:06:28
toward a more accurate data-driven
01:06:30
assessment of polygyny's effects on
01:06:32
society. These effects vary across
01:06:34
societies and vary with the ability of
01:06:35
societies to protect the rights of women
01:06:37
and children. The data makes it clear,
01:06:39
however, that polygyny does not
01:06:40
necessarily or usually create large
01:06:42
numbers of unmarried men. In fact, high
01:06:45
polygyny communities usually have the
01:06:47
demography and social norms that
01:06:49
facilitate men marrying at even higher
01:06:51
rates than men in low polygyny
01:06:53
communities. How is that possible?
01:06:56
Because there are more women than men.
01:07:00
This came out in October of 2025. This
01:07:04
study that came out, okay, uh let me
01:07:06
show you the actual study. Uh this is
01:07:09
from the um largest study ever on the
01:07:13
topic. It's from the National Academy of
01:07:15
Sciences, okay? PNAS.
01:07:17
And this study studied
01:07:21
84 million census records across 30
01:07:24
countries. This is the most
01:07:25
comprehensive study of polygyny that's
01:07:28
ever been done. It defeats any other
01:07:30
polygyny study because it's so
01:07:32
comprehensive, it's gigantic.
01:07:35
84 million census records from 30
01:07:38
countries. Okay. Largest study ever on
01:07:41
this topic. And what it indicates is
01:07:42
more men end up married and women end up
01:07:45
married too. But more men end up married
01:07:47
because there are plenty of women. There
01:07:50
is not an equal distribution of men to
01:07:53
women. There are more women than there
01:07:55
are men. And if everybody ended up
01:07:58
married, if every man ended up married
01:08:00
and we only practice monogamy, there
01:08:03
would have to forcefully be single women
01:08:07
because they outnumber the men. Okay?
01:08:09
So, it's only at birth that there's a
01:08:11
similar number, but later as we progress
01:08:14
in life, there's not. Also, secondly,
01:08:16
Andrew, uh, Pew Research indicates that,
01:08:19
and let me pull this up for you to see,
01:08:21
Pew Research, their religious landscape
01:08:23
study, this is their newest one from
01:08:25
2024, I believe, Christian men, there's
01:08:27
59%
01:08:29
of men identify as Christians in the
01:08:31
United States. Okay? 66% of women
01:08:35
identify as Christians. So, not only in
01:08:37
society itself
01:08:39
are there more women than men, in the
01:08:42
Christian church, there are more women
01:08:45
than men. Good luck with your claims
01:08:48
because the statistics are against you,
01:08:50
my friend. All right. And again, so that
01:08:52
you understand, I cited a genetic study.
01:08:55
I also showed you Pewer Research Center
01:08:57
that also indicates that there's more
01:08:58
women in the church. So, in society and
01:09:00
the church. And now I've presented a
01:09:02
polygyny study, the biggest one we've
01:09:05
ever seen from the National Academy or
01:09:07
the I'm sorry, the proceedings of
01:09:09
National Academy of Sciences. This is
01:09:11
the biggest study ever. I'm going to
01:09:12
cite it again in a minute when he makes
01:09:14
his next point. Let's continue on.
01:09:16
>> And you really want to make sure that
01:09:18
the underclass is married and having
01:09:20
children because otherwise they start
01:09:22
killing people.
01:09:23
>> Okay, he made the big point. They start
01:09:26
killing people. Okay. Well, once again,
01:09:28
the LSE states, even in their title, new
01:09:31
study challenges claim polygyny drives
01:09:33
men to civil war. Andrew is about to
01:09:35
argue that without being married, men
01:09:36
are more violent.
01:09:38
And this study proves that more men end
01:09:41
up married in polygenous societies than
01:09:45
in monogamyonly societies. Andrew, just
01:09:48
accept the L, buddy. It's it's over,
01:09:50
dude. Like, polygyny is coming. Just
01:09:52
read Isaiah chapter 4. Okay, so uh this
01:09:56
is wild. This is wild. So let me read
01:09:58
this. The research also analyzed 84.1
01:10:00
million census records across 30
01:10:02
countries in Africa and Oceanana between
01:10:05
1969 2016 alongside 26 million records
01:10:09
from the 1880 US census. The reason why
01:10:12
they used the 1880 is because Mormons
01:10:14
were practicing polygamy openly at that
01:10:17
time. And so that part of the US census
01:10:19
would actually show polygyny data. Just
01:10:22
six of the 74 censuses from 1969 to
01:10:25
2016, 8% showed more unmarried men in
01:10:29
high polygyny regions than in low
01:10:30
polygyny regions. Okay, so only um just
01:10:34
six of the 74 censuses, so 8% only 8%
01:10:38
actually said what Andrew's claim is
01:10:41
that they ended up unmarried and
01:10:42
violent. So 8% that's very low, showed
01:10:45
more unmarried men in high polygyny uh
01:10:47
regions than in low polygyny ones. while
01:10:49
34 which is 46% showed the opposite
01:10:53
pattern with fewer unmarried men in high
01:10:56
polygyny areas areas. In the US case,
01:10:58
counties with widespread Mormon polygyny
01:11:01
in 1880 had significantly lower rates of
01:11:04
unmarried men than neighboring counties.
01:11:09
Andrew, your argument is defeated. The
01:11:12
researchers showed that this set of
01:11:14
findings persisted over a range of
01:11:16
different statistical analyses and after
01:11:19
accounting for local sex ratios. Okay.
01:11:23
Uh the authors point out that in
01:11:25
subsaharan Africa, high rates of
01:11:26
polygyny tend to occur in communities
01:11:28
that also place a high value on marriage
01:11:30
in general. So in other words, societies
01:11:33
that practice polygyny value marriage
01:11:34
more than societies that don't. Studies
01:11:37
show that people in high polygyny
01:11:38
communities report larger ideal family
01:11:40
sizes. And men in these settings are
01:11:42
less likely to remain childless by
01:11:44
midlife. Uh uh case in point, I have
01:11:46
eight children and two wives. Similarly,
01:11:49
historical Mormon polygyny in the 19th
01:11:50
century United States was sustained by
01:11:52
intense social and religious pressure to
01:11:55
marry. Overall, the evidence suggests
01:11:57
that cultural norms favoring marriage in
01:11:58
high polygyny settings can outweigh the
01:12:00
demographic constraints that polygyny
01:12:02
places on all men's ability to marry.
01:12:05
Again, there's more women than men. For
01:12:08
instance, in a stable population of
01:12:10
25-year-old men and women with high and
01:12:12
equal life expecties, 1% of men, okay,
01:12:17
could marry 2.5 wives on average, while
01:12:21
99% of men could still marry one wife
01:12:24
each. In contrast, in a quickly growing
01:12:27
population where life expectancy is low,
01:12:29
women live longer than men and men marry
01:12:31
younger women. Over 50% of 45-year-old
01:12:35
men could marry multiple wives while
01:12:36
leaving enough women for all other men
01:12:40
to marry. Okay? So, 45year-old men could
01:12:44
marry multiple wives and there'd still
01:12:46
be plenty of women for other men to
01:12:49
marry. In fact, those men could marry
01:12:51
2.5 or three wives somewhere around
01:12:53
there and the numbers would actually
01:12:55
work out well. There you go. There's the
01:12:57
data. These modeled scenarios closely
01:13:00
match the conditions in many subsaharan
01:13:02
African populations, helping to explain
01:13:04
why polygyny is both common and
01:13:06
sustainable in the region. Good luck,
01:13:08
Andrew. Let's continue on.
01:13:11
>> In a big way, collectively, they start
01:13:13
killing people because one of the
01:13:15
biggest accesses
01:13:16
>> I just showed you an the biggest
01:13:20
polygyny study that indicates no
01:13:22
violence actually decreases in
01:13:24
polygynous societies. So, this point is
01:13:27
moot. of resources for men isn't the
01:13:30
money and it isn't the it isn't the
01:13:32
sports car and it isn't the that it's
01:13:34
sexual access and sex
01:13:36
>> they have sexual access because the
01:13:38
women outnumber the men
01:13:39
>> and what you get with a wife is sexual
01:13:42
access and that is part of the
01:13:43
domestication of men which allows a
01:13:45
society to function. That's why monogous
01:13:48
societies do way better than polygenous
01:13:50
societies do.
01:13:52
>> So right now he's just arguing a
01:13:54
fallacy. They do way better. Cite
01:13:57
something, buddy. I just cited the
01:13:58
actual study that shows no, they don't
01:14:01
because of that sexual access.
01:14:02
>> No, and it's true. And it's it's like
01:14:03
the varying degrees of wholesomeness
01:14:04
because you can have guys who say, "I
01:14:06
genuinely just want to have a family."
01:14:07
And so they get married. And then there
01:14:08
are some guys who they're just trying to
01:14:09
have sex, but in a monogous culture,
01:14:11
that drive is oriented towards something
01:14:13
productive instead of destructive,
01:14:14
>> which is producing. Yes.
01:14:15
>> Okay. Productive instead of destructive.
01:14:18
Again, polygyny is productive. I have
01:14:21
eight kids. Okay? That's productive.
01:14:25
Many Christians are getting surgery like
01:14:28
vasectomies. They're they're they're
01:14:30
practicing uh contraception. They're
01:14:33
tying their tubes. That's destructive.
01:14:35
Tons of monogously married Christians
01:14:39
are practicing vasectomies. They're
01:14:41
like, "Ah, we had one kid, two kids.
01:14:42
It's too much." You know, they're not
01:14:44
entrusting the womb to the Lord. Okay.
01:14:48
Polygyny is also good in those
01:14:49
circumstances because the people who
01:14:50
really want to have babies can still
01:14:52
link up and marry and we don't have to
01:14:54
do this whole, well, I don't want to
01:14:55
have a bunch of kids. Well, I do. You
01:14:57
know, these these unequally yolked
01:14:59
marriages where like one person really
01:15:01
wants to have kids. Maybe it's the man
01:15:02
and the woman is like, no, I don't want
01:15:04
any kids. Well, he can take another
01:15:06
wife. People who want to have lots of
01:15:07
kids through polygyny can marry someone
01:15:09
else who wants to have lots of kids.
01:15:11
Okay. Uh abortion and homosexuality are
01:15:13
destructive, gentlemen. So, I don't know
01:15:16
what you're talking about.
01:15:17
But abortion is what's destructive, not
01:15:20
polygyny. I actually tweeted this uh
01:15:22
earlier this week. It got, let's see,
01:15:24
this one got 18,000 [clears throat]
01:15:26
views. I had a few that got over half a
01:15:28
million views. And in this one, I was
01:15:30
saying, "Why am I advocating for
01:15:32
polygamy in the West?" Okay. Western
01:15:34
birth rates are 1.6 per woman, well
01:15:37
below the 2.1 required to maintain a
01:15:39
stable population. So, they're talking
01:15:40
about being productive. Okay. Well,
01:15:43
we're at the status quo monogamy only
01:15:45
that you guys seem to love. 1.6 is not
01:15:48
very productive. So, your argument is is
01:15:50
not very strong. Um, okay. Meanwhile,
01:15:53
Muslim fertility is at 2.9 per woman
01:15:56
with some regions at 3.6.
01:15:59
Subsaharan Africa is the highest on
01:16:01
Earth at 4.3 children per woman. What do
01:16:04
Africa and the Middle East especially
01:16:06
Muslims practice? Polygyny. What does
01:16:08
the West refuse to practice even as
01:16:10
she's in decline? Polygyny. Elon Musk
01:16:13
frequently sounds the alarm, but no one
01:16:15
is offering a viable option for quickly
01:16:17
increasing birth rates to 2.1 or higher.
01:16:20
Polygyny is a feasible option. That's
01:16:22
what I'm presenting, and you guys are
01:16:24
saying, "Oh, it's destructive." But you
01:16:26
literally have no scriptures to prove
01:16:28
it's destructive. You have no um studies
01:16:31
that are greater than the polygyny one I
01:16:33
just presented. And you have no
01:16:35
statistics that are showing it's
01:16:37
destructive. In fact, polygyny will
01:16:39
result in more kids just like we see in
01:16:41
Africa
01:16:42
>> producing literally producing
01:16:44
>> literally
01:16:46
I just want to make this point. George
01:16:48
George Gilder writes about this in his
01:16:49
book Men in Marriage where he points out
01:16:51
and this is written in like the late '
01:16:53
80s early 90s I believe but he points
01:16:55
out that literally in every society
01:16:56
throughout all of history the most
01:16:58
dangerous people around have been
01:16:59
unmarried young men. If you can create a
01:17:02
>> okay already looked at it in the the
01:17:04
study shows
01:17:06
it's just irrefutable. I hope you guys
01:17:08
see this. Um the National Academy of
01:17:10
Sciences study shows that more men end
01:17:12
up married in polygyny and they become
01:17:14
less violent. Why? Why? So here's a
01:17:17
personal like take on that. Why does
01:17:19
that happen? Men are not afraid to get
01:17:22
locked into a bad marriage. I really
01:17:23
believe that's what it comes down to.
01:17:25
And I'm not just saying that. I'm saying
01:17:27
that I really believe that men realize
01:17:30
that okay, even if marriage doesn't go
01:17:32
well with the first wife, I'm able to
01:17:33
take more wives. Women also improve
01:17:37
their behavior because Vashi knows she
01:17:40
can be replaced by Esther and she
01:17:43
doesn't take advantage of her man and
01:17:44
she instead desires to be an Esther
01:17:47
instead of a Vashi. So men are way more
01:17:50
likely to enter the marriage arena if
01:17:52
they know that even if the wife that
01:17:56
they select um ends up not wanting to
01:17:59
have kids or more kids or you know she's
01:18:01
really you know critical or or really
01:18:04
difficult and and not very compatible
01:18:07
that he can still take additional wives
01:18:09
and have offspring and children and not
01:18:11
have all of his possessions ripped out
01:18:13
from under him. um you know that that
01:18:16
biblically a woman cannot even divorce
01:18:19
her husband in scripture. You that's not
01:18:21
how it works. She can't go oh he slept
01:18:24
with somebody else so I get to divorce
01:18:25
him. No. Like the scriptures don't
01:18:27
actually permit that. That's why a woman
01:18:29
in Mark it says who divorces her husband
01:18:31
and marries another man commits
01:18:33
adultery. Jesus said that. Do we even
01:18:36
believe in Jesus's words anymore or is
01:18:38
it just all Rome all the way? you know,
01:18:40
we're just going to go with romance and
01:18:42
and Roman law, or are we going to get
01:18:44
back to the Bible? So, Proverbs 21:9, a
01:18:47
few of these proverbial writings from
01:18:49
Solomon, the maybe the most prolific uh
01:18:52
polygynist to ever exist, um wrote this,
01:18:55
and I think this is why men oftenimes
01:18:58
are afraid to enter the marriage uh
01:19:01
arena when they don't have any ability
01:19:05
to marry again. if they marry one, they
01:19:09
can't marry again. And so they're, you
01:19:12
know, they're fearful of how that could
01:19:13
go and statistically it looks like it
01:19:15
could go bad and they don't want to end
01:19:18
up in this situation. Proverbs 21:9, it
01:19:20
is better to live in a corner of the
01:19:22
housetop than in a house shared with a
01:19:24
quarrelome wife. Okay, so a polygamist
01:19:26
wrote this and it's true. This is not
01:19:30
good. So a man can take another wife. If
01:19:32
a wife turns against him, uh, Mikyle
01:19:34
turned against David. So David married
01:19:37
Abigail and Henuham. They loved him.
01:19:39
They thought he was great. Abigail uh
01:19:41
thought he was a you know wonderful man
01:19:43
and she prophesied over him. Meanwhile,
01:19:45
Miky despised him. So David didn't have
01:19:49
to live being despised for the rest of
01:19:51
his life. Proverbs 21:1 19. It is better
01:19:54
to live in a desert land than with a
01:19:57
with a quarrelome and fretful woman.
01:19:59
Okay. So again, I think men are
01:20:02
concerned about these things and with
01:20:03
polygyny on the table, they become way
01:20:05
less concerned and they're way more
01:20:07
willing to marry a girl um who they
01:20:10
might have been more apprehensive about
01:20:12
prior. Proverbs 27:15, a continual
01:20:16
dripping on a rainy day and a quarrelome
01:20:18
wife are alike. Okay, so are you seeing
01:20:20
the the the commonality here that a
01:20:22
quarome wife, a contentious wife is not
01:20:25
a good thing? Polygyny actually helps
01:20:27
men to not get caught up in those
01:20:29
situations and it takes the power away
01:20:31
from Vashi uh and it gives it back to
01:20:34
the man and he's able to find his
01:20:36
Esther. Okay, let's continue on.
01:20:39
>> A population of un perpetually unmarried
01:20:42
killers. They're going to be killers.
01:20:44
Now, here's the thing for corporate
01:20:45
America. Those people make great
01:20:46
consumers. And so, it seems as if
01:20:48
there's been this effort to keep men
01:20:49
young and unmarried, but to kind of
01:20:51
unicize them so that they're good
01:20:52
producers and they're not scary. That
01:20:54
doesn't work. They're still going to be
01:20:56
scary man. >> Yeah, but they're not like inherently
01:20:58
killers. That's not what I mean by that.
01:20:59
But what it is is it's like where do you
01:21:02
go? You you would go into the military.
01:21:04
You would become mercenaries and you
01:21:06
would be way more willing to take high
01:21:08
risk things for high reward. Uh because
01:21:10
that's where like the dopamine hit comes
01:21:12
the fun. Again, there's no resource
01:21:14
sync, right? And and so that's this
01:21:17
isn't like men bad. This is just
01:21:19
realistic men. Yeah. Men benevolent
01:21:22
actually. But but the my point is is
01:21:24
just to point this out is like the
01:21:26
reason you want your young men married
01:21:28
and producing families and you don't
01:21:30
want them sidelined with no sexual
01:21:32
access is because if you have like 20%
01:21:34
of your population that's like that,
01:21:36
you're going to have a serious problem
01:21:38
on your hands where Okay. So literally
01:21:41
for a long time they're discussing a
01:21:44
total fallacy because I presented the
01:21:46
study that indicates that none of what
01:21:48
they're saying is accurate regarding
01:21:50
this whole like we're going to have
01:21:51
violent men. It's just not true. Are
01:21:53
these people don't they're not
01:21:54
riskaverse.
01:21:55
>> Well, why do you think it's so easy to
01:21:57
recruit young Muslim men to terrorist
01:21:59
cells?
01:22:00
>> Yeah, I was going to say, okay,
01:22:01
terrorist cells. Okay. Muslims are void
01:22:04
of Christ. You're now comparing apples
01:22:06
to oranges. Marriage doesn't fix sin.
01:22:10
Okay. Marriage doesn't fix sin. So, it's
01:22:13
not monogamy or polygyny that fixes sin.
01:22:16
Uh Christ is the one who heals sin. John
01:22:19
8, who the sun sets free will be free
01:22:22
indeed. It's Christ who does it. So
01:22:23
being void of Christ is why people join
01:22:26
terrorist cells, not polygyny. This is
01:22:28
insane. This is literally insane. The
01:22:30
the prejudice is insane. [laughter]
01:22:34
It's hard to even witness it. It's like
01:22:37
how are we so programmed to be so
01:22:39
against this? And all I can figure is we
01:22:41
all watched David Caresh in Texas in
01:22:43
Waco and we just said, "Yeah, that's
01:22:46
evil." And it was evil. The man took
01:22:48
other men's wives. That's unlawful.
01:22:50
That's adultery. That's wickedness. So,
01:22:52
anyone doing this biblically wouldn't do
01:22:54
that. Warren Jeffs took child brides.
01:22:56
Unlawful. It's wicked. You know, it's
01:22:58
gross. Children can't consent. So, no.
01:23:02
You're you're utilizing things. You have
01:23:05
these presuppositions
01:23:07
of, well, I witnessed bad versions of
01:23:09
it, so it's always bad. And it's just
01:23:11
not true. It's a bad conclusion. And no,
01:23:14
people who are Christians practicing
01:23:15
polygyny are not going to join terrorist
01:23:16
cells. I'm raising eight kids. Ain't got
01:23:19
no time for no terrorist cells. Let's
01:23:21
go.
01:23:22
>> Why do you think it was so easy for
01:23:23
terrorist cells? Well, [laughter]
01:23:25
>> think about how easy it was to recruit
01:23:26
mercenaries under the promise you carry
01:23:28
off the enemy women,
01:23:30
>> right? The idea here, the idea here was
01:23:32
always the same. They were plunderer
01:23:33
once upon a time. I mean so they but the
01:23:36
ultimately if you have 20% 15% something
01:23:39
like this
01:23:40
>> who are not risk averse and they are
01:23:42
high testosterone and not risk aver Oh
01:23:44
man.
01:23:45
>> Yeah. But also in terms of polygamy like
01:23:48
you look at the Arab cultures for
01:23:50
>> okay so we're going into slippery slope
01:23:52
fallacies again you know this produces
01:23:55
that you know and this produces that and
01:23:57
it's just not true. Polygyny does not
01:23:58
produce terrorist cells. Uh that is just
01:24:02
wild. There's no correlation there.
01:24:05
>> For example, they've got a huge problem
01:24:06
with this in the sense that a lot of the
01:24:08
top status men get all of the wives and
01:24:10
then it creates this huge underclass of
01:24:12
men.
01:24:13
>> Okay, once again, not true. This is a
01:24:16
fallacy. I showed this the study. Let's
01:24:19
continue on.
01:24:20
>> And you'll notice that all of the
01:24:22
immigrants coming into Europe, there's
01:24:24
not many women and children. It's all
01:24:25
men. And what that is is it's the
01:24:27
underclass of men who have no access to
01:24:29
women.
01:24:30
>> Okay? He's not citing any studies. It's
01:24:32
not all men, okay? There are men coming
01:24:35
over. They're not an underclass of men.
01:24:38
They're men who are committed to jihad
01:24:40
and to taking over the West. If you
01:24:43
listen to their imams, their imams are
01:24:45
telling them to move here
01:24:47
>> and outbur us. So that is their goal.
01:24:51
That's why they're coming over trying to
01:24:53
get it. >> I never even thought about that.
01:24:55
>> Yeah. So they're coming into these into
01:24:56
these western countries and you imagine
01:24:57
they're coming into Sweden and they see
01:24:59
a blonde hair, blue-eyed girl who's got
01:25:01
a wearing a short skirt and to them
01:25:03
she's essentially a prostitute.
01:25:04
>> Well, and we we have been told through
01:25:06
very >> Yeah. And they're void of Christ. So
01:25:08
what I agree with is the Muslim invasion
01:25:10
not good. But these people are void of
01:25:12
Christ. The problem is being void of
01:25:14
Christ. Not marriage. Marriage is not
01:25:17
the issue. Being void of Jesus. They're
01:25:20
unregenerate. They're depraved. They
01:25:23
need Christ. When Muslims convert,
01:25:25
friends, what are we going to do? Okay,
01:25:27
what are you going to do? I believe 1
01:25:29
Corinthians 7:2 welcomes plural
01:25:31
families. I already made that argument
01:25:32
earlier that there's huttow and idios.
01:25:34
And so iddios is a communal ownership.
01:25:36
It's a weakened form of ownership. Um,
01:25:39
and that that was Paul welcoming polo
01:25:42
families. We know the New Testament has
01:25:44
no protocol denying them attending
01:25:46
church. Um, but also there is the fact
01:25:51
that Jesus illustrates himself as
01:25:53
plurally married in Matthew 25:1. Then
01:25:55
the kingdom of heaven will be like 10
01:25:57
virgins who took their lamps and went
01:25:58
out to meet the bridegroom. He's the
01:26:00
bridegroom. 2 Corinthians 11:2, for I
01:26:02
feel a divine jealousy for you since I
01:26:04
betrothed you to one husband to present
01:26:06
you as a pure virgin to Christ. So each
01:26:09
church is a virgin and each church is
01:26:13
betrothed to Christ. That's plural
01:26:15
marriage imagery. It's not wicked. So,
01:26:17
we can welcome Muslim converts into our
01:26:19
churches. So, with a Muslim invasion, we
01:26:22
need to evangelize. We need to proitize.
01:26:24
Okay? When we proitize them, we need to
01:26:27
welcome their plural families into our
01:26:28
church because it's not unlawful.
01:26:30
Because a lot of them have more than one
01:26:32
wife. All right? I live in Kansas City.
01:26:34
I see a lot of Muslims and there are
01:26:36
definitely polygamous families that are
01:26:39
Muslim. They just don't, you know, they
01:26:41
don't put it on the census records,
01:26:42
right? because uh they know how society
01:26:45
feels about it. Now we need to
01:26:47
evangelize them and then welcome their
01:26:49
families. All right, let's continue.
01:26:51
>> Inbred may not know better honestly,
01:26:53
which is why you probably shouldn't
01:26:54
bring them to your to your country.
01:26:55
>> 65% of Pakistan.
01:26:56
>> Yeah, 65% of Pakistan. That's
01:26:59
outrageous.
01:27:00
>> But like yeah, you look at the grooming
01:27:01
gangs over there and uh they they were
01:27:05
essentially their excuse was that well,
01:27:07
you know, in in our culture this is
01:27:09
allowed. these are essentially spoils of
01:27:11
war here and they're not Muslims so they
01:27:13
don't get treated the same as us and
01:27:15
that was their justification for it. So
01:27:16
it's not like it was frowned upon or
01:27:18
anything. And and by the stated openly
01:27:20
and when these people have to testify
01:27:22
they'll say things like this. It is not
01:27:23
some kind of hidden secret. They openly
01:27:25
acknowledge yes we do think that this is
01:27:27
what white girls are for and white women
01:27:29
are for. This is not something somebody
01:27:31
made up to make you feel
01:27:32
>> I agree and this is sick. So I agree
01:27:35
with this point they're making. Finally
01:27:36
we agree on something.
01:27:38
>> Certainly. This is not the billionaire
01:27:39
saying the immigrant wants to take your
01:27:41
cookie like we've seen in that meme.
01:27:42
This is from the This is from their
01:27:44
mouths. These are words from their
01:27:45
mouths.
01:27:46
>> Yep. They're their their sex and
01:27:47
relationships starved destitute people
01:27:51
coming from polygenist societies.
01:27:53
>> Okay. This is there's so much right
01:27:56
here. We're almost done actually. Um
01:27:58
coming from polygenist societies is what
01:28:00
he just said. Okay. He's equating their
01:28:02
depravity to being polygenist. This is
01:28:04
insane. as if what consequently what
01:28:08
that would mean is that monogamy would
01:28:11
have healed these Muslims. That's
01:28:13
insane, friend. You and I both know if
01:28:16
you're a Christian, they're void of the
01:28:18
Holy Spirit because they're unregenerate
01:28:20
and they don't believe on Jesus Christ.
01:28:23
Their issue is not polygyny. Okay? Their
01:28:26
issue and their salvation is not
01:28:28
marriage. You're acting like monogamy
01:28:29
would change the world. Talk about an
01:28:32
idol. You know, Jesus is Lord. Monogamy
01:28:35
is not Lord. Why are you making an idol
01:28:38
out of monogamy like it would save
01:28:40
culture? Christ saves culture. Um so
01:28:43
you're you're you're producing a false
01:28:46
cause fallacy that the immigration
01:28:48
crisis is due to polygyny when no open
01:28:52
border policies are our problem and
01:28:55
those who are coming over are void of
01:28:57
Christ. These are the problems not
01:28:59
polygyny. What a wild conclusion. Think
01:29:02
about the prejudice against polygyny to
01:29:03
go, "Yeah, it's polygyny that's making
01:29:06
all these Muslim guys so bad
01:29:09
>> into Western countries." So, when you
01:29:11
think about the magnitude of it,
01:29:12
>> and the women are single, right? They're
01:29:14
they're using
01:29:15
>> Even if they're not, they don't care.
01:29:16
>> Well, they're often using their child
01:29:17
like kind of their child rearing years
01:29:19
to go to college and university, right?
01:29:21
Things like this. They don't have a man
01:29:22
on their arm. There's nothing to fight
01:29:24
the wolves off.
01:29:25
>> There's no And the fathers are told,
01:29:27
"You're a you're a horrible patriarch if
01:29:29
you want to protect your daughter."
01:29:30
>> Yeah. It's a it's a I mean, so it's a
01:29:31
nightmare. That's he's making a great
01:29:34
point. Like, these are good, solid
01:29:36
reasons why monogamy.
01:29:39
>> These are terrible reasons and they've
01:29:41
been refuted repeatedly
01:29:44
already in my rebuttals.
01:29:46
>> It should be the like go-to for any
01:29:49
Western society. Even if it was the
01:29:51
case, we didn't believe in God and
01:29:52
Christianity, it still should be. Now,
01:29:55
look at that. Monogamy is such an idol.
01:29:57
They're like, even if we don't believe
01:29:58
in God, monogamy will save us. I mean
01:30:00
this is this is wild.
01:30:02
>> You and I would say the reason is is
01:30:04
>> because you're still moving towards God
01:30:06
and Christianity. [laughter]
01:30:07
>> Okay.
01:30:09
Still moving towards God. God, if you're
01:30:12
moving towards God, you would learn this
01:30:14
about him that he identifies as a
01:30:17
polygamist in scripture. He's married to
01:30:19
Israel and Judah. He would never use a
01:30:21
sinful illustration for himself. He
01:30:24
doesn't portray himself as a homosexual.
01:30:26
Okay? doesn't portray himself as a
01:30:27
murderer, but he does portray himself as
01:30:29
a polygamist. Did you know that, Andrew?
01:30:32
Jeremiah 3 6-10, uh, in this passage,
01:30:36
God is giving divorce certificates to
01:30:38
Israel and Judah for them being
01:30:40
unfaithful, their sister wives and
01:30:42
literal sisters. And then he confirms
01:30:44
this in the new covenant passage of
01:30:46
Jeremiah 31:es 31 and 32. We're going to
01:30:49
read this one. Behold, the days are
01:30:51
coming, declares the Lord, when I will
01:30:53
make a new covenant with the house of
01:30:55
Israel and the house of Judah, not like
01:30:57
the covenant which I made with their
01:30:58
fathers on the day when I took them by
01:31:00
the hand to bring them out of the land
01:31:01
of Egypt, my covenant that they broke,
01:31:05
though I was their husband, declares the
01:31:08
Lord. Uh the NASB would say, though I
01:31:11
was a husband to them. So plural
01:31:13
language being used, he's a husband to
01:31:16
multiple. That's how God identifies. In
01:31:18
the New Covenant passage that gets cited
01:31:20
in the New Testament, he states that
01:31:23
he's a polygamous husband. I don't I
01:31:26
don't think you realize that, Andrew. I
01:31:28
think a lot of Christians don't realize
01:31:29
God is a polygamist. Okay? That's not
01:31:32
heresy. I just read it. Matthew 25:1,
01:31:36
that the kingdom of heaven will be like
01:31:37
10 virgins who took their lamps and went
01:31:39
to meet the bridegroom. The whole
01:31:41
kingdom of heaven works this way. All
01:31:43
the virgins are churches. Jesus is the
01:31:45
bridegroom. 2 Corinthians 11:2, for I
01:31:47
feel a divine jealousy for you since I
01:31:50
betrothed you to one husband to present
01:31:52
you as a pure virgin to Christ. Each
01:31:55
church a virgin. U now this is further
01:31:58
supported by the fact that in Revelation
01:32:01
1 through3 there's seven churches and
01:32:03
Christ is the bridegroom to all seven.
01:32:07
Revelation 1:20. As for the mystery of
01:32:09
the seven stars that you saw in my right
01:32:11
hand and the seven golden lampstands,
01:32:13
the seven stars are the angels of the
01:32:15
seven churches. And the seven lampstands
01:32:17
are the seven churches. And then Isaiah
01:32:20
4, we're going to relate that to this.
01:32:23
Isaiah 4 is a messianic passage. And
01:32:26
while I do believe it's a literal uh
01:32:30
prophecy of plural marriage occurring, I
01:32:32
believe it can also be an illustration
01:32:34
of Christ with the churches.
01:32:37
um solidifying the marriage. It goes
01:32:39
from a betroal to a marriage, okay? When
01:32:42
he returns. Isaiah 4:1, "And seven women
01:32:44
shall take hold of one man in that day,
01:32:46
saying, "We will eat our own bread, wear
01:32:48
our own clothes, only let us be called
01:32:50
by your name, take away our reproach. In
01:32:53
that day, the branch of the Lord, which
01:32:54
is the Messiah, shall be beautiful and
01:32:56
glorious, and the fruit of the land
01:32:58
shall be the pride and honor of the
01:33:00
survivors in Israel." So, u Andrew said,
01:33:04
you know, marriage leads people to God.
01:33:06
Well, okay fine if it leads us towards
01:33:09
God. What we're going to learn about God
01:33:10
is that he is actually identifying as
01:33:13
plural and that the son Jesus Christ
01:33:15
also identifies as plurally married that
01:33:18
but ultimately from the secular
01:33:20
perspective just the outcome base it
01:33:21
should be that way but because they have
01:33:23
to justify the alternative degeneracy
01:33:25
they have to endorse this and that's
01:33:28
what your societyy's going to look like.
01:33:29
>> Exactly. You were right at the beginning
01:33:31
when you said it's because we've
01:33:33
accepted this morally relative framework
01:33:35
that even Christians even Christians
01:33:38
especially you know not to sorry
01:33:41
Protestants but you guys have this idea
01:33:43
that everybody has their right to you
01:33:45
know their individual interpretation. So
01:33:46
you can't
01:33:47
>> okay individual interpretation. Uh yes
01:33:50
you're right that's a Protestant
01:33:51
position and it's biblical. Okay. Uh,
01:33:55
first and foremost, John 14:26,
01:33:58
I don't need a pope because of what this
01:34:00
says. But the helper, the Holy Spirit,
01:34:01
whom the father will send in my name, he
01:34:04
will teach you all things and bring to
01:34:06
your remembrance all that I have said to
01:34:08
you. And we all, every believer has the
01:34:10
Holy Spirit. That's promised in Acts
01:34:11
chapter 2. Okay. 1 John 27. But the
01:34:16
anointing that you receive from him
01:34:17
abides in you. That anointing is the
01:34:19
Holy Spirit. By the way, John confirms
01:34:20
this in the same epistle. But the
01:34:22
anointing that you receive from him
01:34:23
abides in you, and you have no need that
01:34:25
anyone should teach you. But as his
01:34:27
anointing teaches you about everything
01:34:29
and is true and is no lie, just as it
01:34:32
has taught you, abide in him. So the
01:34:36
Holy Spirit teaches us everything
01:34:39
according to scripture. The Holy Spirit
01:34:40
teaches us everything. And moreover, if
01:34:44
we go to uh Mark chapter 7 and we look
01:34:48
at what Jesus said there, we'll find
01:34:50
that, you know, Jesus isn't thrilled
01:34:51
about the magisterium of the church and
01:34:53
Catholic tradition. Verse 6, and he said
01:34:55
to them, well did Isaiah prophesy of you
01:34:57
hypocrites. Uh as it is written, this
01:35:00
people honors me with their lips, but
01:35:01
their heart is far from me. In vain do
01:35:03
they worship me, teaching as doctrines
01:35:05
the commandments of men. You leave the
01:35:08
commandment of God and hold to the
01:35:10
tradition of men. And he said to them,
01:35:12
you have a fine way of rejecting the
01:35:14
commandment of God in order to establish
01:35:16
your tradition. And that really
01:35:17
summarizes the whole talk this today is
01:35:20
is that they are siding with tradition,
01:35:23
Roman tradition, Catholic tradition, and
01:35:26
they're not siding with scripture and
01:35:27
they're not even siding with the truth.
01:35:29
I mean, I just shared the actual results
01:35:32
of over 80 million census records is
01:35:35
that more men end up married, more
01:35:37
children are produced, less violence,
01:35:39
and here they are just loving the status
01:35:41
quo, monogamy only, and we're at 1.6
01:35:43
births per woman. So, good job, guys.
01:35:46
You're really supporting a a solid uh a
01:35:48
solid argument this evening.
01:35:50
>> That plus the moral relativistic
01:35:52
framework, you can't tell this guy no.
01:35:54
How are you going to tell him no? And
01:35:56
you're letting the Muslims in and they
01:35:57
can do it. and uh you're letting the gay
01:35:59
throppples adopt B like you can't tell
01:36:01
this guy he can't do that
01:36:02
>> just hypothetically what would what
01:36:04
would stop me from starting a church
01:36:06
tomorrow gold like the church of
01:36:07
rattlesn
01:36:08
>> nothing >> I mean yeah probably nothing and I what
01:36:10
is it what's the number you have before
01:36:13
your tax exempt it's
01:36:14
>> I think it's only two or three it's not
01:36:16
many and the thing is is like you may
01:36:18
not but you don't even need the 5013C
01:36:20
right you can have you can start the
01:36:22
church of rattlesnakes as a for-profit
01:36:25
church [laughter]
01:36:26
>> I mean This is a historical This is a
01:36:29
historical pattern church business
01:36:31
model.
01:36:32
>> This is a historical pattern. If you
01:36:33
look at pretty much all of the cults,
01:36:35
like all of the heretical cults that
01:36:37
have tried to spring out of
01:36:38
Christianity, it's always some guy who
01:36:41
wants to take [laughter] all the wives.
01:36:43
>> Yeah. Okay. So, she's brought up
01:36:44
heretical cults. Okay. Warren Jeff's
01:36:47
David Crush. These are our two most
01:36:49
recent in history examples. Okay. Again,
01:36:51
Warren Jeffs, he took child brides and
01:36:54
it was forced marriages and
01:36:56
non-consensual. These are all wicked
01:36:58
things. These are all prohibited by
01:36:59
scripture. Okay? Everything's supposed
01:37:01
to be consensual and the brides are not
01:37:04
supposed to be children. That's gross.
01:37:06
All right. Um, number two, David Kesh,
01:37:08
Waco, Texas. Everybody's familiar with
01:37:10
that one. Two, um, he took other men's
01:37:12
wives. That's adultery. So, in both of
01:37:14
those cases, the wrath of God came on
01:37:16
them. Um, in those cases, those are
01:37:19
cults because not because of polygyny,
01:37:21
okay? And I'll show you why, but because
01:37:23
of sin, they're sinning and they're
01:37:26
teaching that something is biblical when
01:37:28
it's not. Okay? If polygyny equals cult,
01:37:33
just think about the implications of
01:37:34
what you just said, sister. Jacob
01:37:37
started Israel through polygyny. If
01:37:40
polygyny equals cult, Jacob is cult
01:37:43
leader and Israel is a cult.
01:37:47
your conclusions. I mean, what you've
01:37:50
just inferred by stating heretical cults
01:37:53
practice polygyny is that Israel is one
01:37:56
big cult. And since you're grafted into
01:37:59
Israel because you believed on Christ,
01:38:01
according to Romans 11, you are a cult
01:38:03
member and your patriarchs are cult
01:38:06
leaders. You've just insulted the
01:38:08
patriarchs. You've insulted God and
01:38:11
you've made a false statement because of
01:38:14
a prejudice and a bias against polygyny
01:38:18
that has no foundation in scripture
01:38:19
itself only in Rome. And the truth is
01:38:22
you love Rome but here's what you've
01:38:23
forgotten is in Daniel
01:38:27
Nebuchadnezzar's statue starts with the
01:38:29
head of gold which is Babylon. Then it
01:38:31
goes to the breastplate of silver which
01:38:33
is Meo Persia. Then it goes to the waist
01:38:37
u of bronze which is Greece. Then it
01:38:40
goes to the legs of iron which is Rome
01:38:42
which splits in two. Then it goes to the
01:38:45
feet which are iron and clay with the 10
01:38:48
toes. That's Europe. We're in the final
01:38:51
phase before Jesus returns. Okay. And
01:38:54
the mount of the Lord comes and destroys
01:38:55
that statue. What's that mean? Rome will
01:38:59
fall to Christ's kingdom. And Roman law
01:39:05
will bow to biblical law. And Israel is
01:39:09
not a cult.
01:39:12
>> It's always some guy. It always ends up
01:39:14
with By the way, you have to
01:39:15
>> How many times has Jesus returned now to
01:39:17
bang your wife? It's happened a lot
01:39:19
according I [laughter] mean it's
01:39:21
happened a ton of times according to a
01:39:23
lot of these people who claim that
01:39:25
they're the return of Christ.
01:39:26
>> All of them. They all
01:39:28
>> he pointed towards me. I am not claiming
01:39:30
to be the return of Christ. My goodness.
01:39:32
and lawful polygyny is not a cult.
01:39:35
>> They all end up, you know, they'll and
01:39:36
they usually start with a different me
01:39:38
message. They'll start with something
01:39:39
that appeals to like people who are
01:39:41
easily sucked into cult mentalities and
01:39:43
then by the time you get
01:39:45
>> I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm
01:39:46
a bit of a pmicist and I'm not very
01:39:48
appealing. Okay? I like to stick to the
01:39:50
word of God and I usually offend just
01:39:53
about everybody.
01:39:55
>> 20 30 people, they're like, "And you all
01:39:57
have to share your wife with me now."
01:39:58
Well, every single Well, this
01:40:00
>> I'm not calling for people to share
01:40:01
their wives with me because that would
01:40:03
be adultery. Continue.
01:40:05
>> This is not just post this is not just
01:40:06
something that's existed in the
01:40:08
Christian world. This has been the case
01:40:10
literally with every cult throughout
01:40:11
history. Every like even Muhammad,
01:40:12
everyone who's claimed to speak for God
01:40:14
has basically said Muhammad took child
01:40:17
brides. Okay, you keep pointing out
01:40:19
unlawful marriages and saying, "See,
01:40:22
see, see, see, no, no, no. Lawful
01:40:24
polygyny is not cult behavior. Israel is
01:40:28
not a cult. Jacob is not a cult leader.
01:40:30
>> Guess what God told me I get to do. It's
01:40:32
like I'm special. This is
01:40:34
>> J. Dyer says that cult leaders it always
01:40:36
turn it's always just boils down to
01:40:39
being able to touch butts. [laughter] It
01:40:42
just always boils down to touching
01:40:43
butts.
01:40:44
>> Your wife is mine now.
01:40:45
>> Yep.
01:40:47
>> Marriage is divine. God brings the woman
01:40:49
to the man. It's not about touching
01:40:51
butts. It's about offspring. Be fruitful
01:40:54
and multiply.
01:40:56
Thanks for checking out this clip from
01:40:58
>> And that was it. Man, that was only 10
01:41:01
minutes long. Uh their their video was
01:41:03
only 10 minutes long and it took us some
01:41:05
time to run through it, but boy, they
01:41:07
had a lot of bad points. I'm actually
01:41:09
glad they made that video because it
01:41:12
gives us the opportunity to respond to a
01:41:15
lot of really bad talking points that
01:41:16
people hold on the anti-polygamy side.
01:41:19
Comment below. Has have these videos I
01:41:21
did Ben Shapiro. If you guys haven't
01:41:22
watched it, make sure you go watch it.
01:41:24
And now we've responded to Tim Cast and
01:41:25
specifically Andrew Wilson. I really
01:41:27
want to know, you know, are there those
01:41:29
of you who were anti- polygamy and now
01:41:31
you're on the fence as a result of what
01:41:33
you're hearing? Are there those of you
01:41:34
who are on the fence that are now pro
01:41:37
polygyny or at least recognize it's
01:41:38
lawful even if you're not going to
01:41:39
practice it or what have you you
01:41:41
recognize it's lawful? How are you
01:41:43
feeling about it? What are you learning?
01:41:44
What did you not know before? Be
01:41:46
intellectually honest. Don't just side
01:41:49
with your bias and prejudice and don't
01:41:51
just go with the majority. John the
01:41:53
Baptist was not part of the majority.
01:41:55
The temple system rejected him and yet
01:41:57
he was preparing the way for the Lord.
01:41:59
So, you need to be listening for the
01:42:00
voice of the Holy Spirit. I'm planning
01:42:02
to respond to more videos as we continue
01:42:04
on with this. This is hardly going to be
01:42:06
the end of the conversation. And I do
01:42:08
believe that there is a movement
01:42:09
occurring that's apart from me, it's a
01:42:11
societal movement that's occurring where
01:42:14
people are returning to more biblical
01:42:15
marriage and that's opening up this
01:42:17
question of you know birth
01:42:20
[clears throat] rates and what kind of
01:42:21
marriages are allowed and not allowed
01:42:22
and this is actually very healthy for
01:42:24
society to go through this because
01:42:26
status quo is what got us to where we
01:42:28
are right now and we have to reconsider
01:42:31
what the Bible teaches about marriage.
01:42:32
So, I have an article that I would love
01:42:34
for you guys to read if you could go to
01:42:36
richtidwell.com and check out should
01:42:38
polygamous families be welcome at
01:42:40
church. I dive into some of these
01:42:41
concepts like the Muslim invasion. Uh I
01:42:44
cite one of my favorite books on the
01:42:46
topic of polygyny which is doctrine of
01:42:48
christristiana by John Milton the author
01:42:50
of paradise lost in chapter 10 titled on
01:42:53
the special government of man. I take a
01:42:55
couple of passages from that and link to
01:42:57
the actual full work in this article.
01:42:59
And then I also have a letter that I
01:43:01
personally wrote to the Anglican church.
01:43:03
They rejected our attendance uh on
01:43:06
Sunday mornings. We our church meets for
01:43:08
Sabbath on Saturdays, which if you don't
01:43:10
know anything about that, Charlie Kirk
01:43:12
has a book coming out in December, and
01:43:14
it's on the topic of the 7th day
01:43:16
Sabbath. So, I'd encourage you to
01:43:17
pre-order it uh if you haven't already.
01:43:20
But if you read the letter to the
01:43:22
Anglicans, we were seeking to be able to
01:43:24
fellowship and worship on Sundays, not
01:43:26
be clergy, just participate, and they
01:43:28
denied our attendance. And that resulted
01:43:30
in this uh article. And I consider that
01:43:33
letter to the Anglicans, my 95 thesis uh
01:43:36
for Reformation 2.0 that's occurring
01:43:38
right now. Cuz I really truly believe
01:43:40
that marriage law has to be relearned um
01:43:43
before Isaiah 4:1 occurs. Men and women
01:43:46
are going to know that polygyny is
01:43:47
lawful. So, in order for them to get
01:43:49
there, there's going to be this whole
01:43:51
societal debate. And I don't think it's
01:43:53
a short debate. I think, you know,
01:43:54
Council of Trent took what, if I'm
01:43:56
remembering correctly, like 18 years or
01:43:58
something. It was almost two decades if
01:44:01
I'm remembering correctly. So, uh, this
01:44:03
could be a long conversation. So, buckle
01:44:05
up. Please read should polygamist
01:44:07
families be welcome at church. And
01:44:08
please also, if you scroll down, you'll
01:44:10
be able to open up uh the letter that I
01:44:14
wrote to the Anglican Church, and it
01:44:16
contains really an overview of all of
01:44:18
our beliefs with a lot of citations. Um,
01:44:20
and I think that it would be of great
01:44:22
benefit to you in your studies. So, I
01:44:24
really encourage you to go check it out.
01:44:26
All right, guys. I'm so thankful that
01:44:27
you watched this whole video. Thank you.
01:44:29
Make sure you like this video, share it
01:44:30
with your friends, comment below
01:44:31
anything that you learned, subscribe to
01:44:33
the channel, hit the bell icon so that
01:44:34
you receive a notification anytime we
01:44:37
post something new. I'm really thankful
01:44:39
for all of you guys being here and for
01:44:42
conversing and engaging on this. And I
01:44:44
pray that this will continue to provide
01:44:47
enlightenment. Now listen, enlightenment
01:44:49
comes with a lot of suffering and
01:44:50
struggle. If you go to Hebrews chapter
01:44:52
10, you'll see what a light
01:44:53
enlightenment causes. It causes public
01:44:55
reproach. And that's what's happening
01:44:57
right now. And so don't be afraid of
01:44:59
enlightenment. It's just part of the
01:45:00
process. Let me pray the blessing over
01:45:02
you guys. May the Lord bless you and
01:45:04
keep you. May he make his face to shine
01:45:06
upon you and be gracious to you. May he
01:45:08
lift up his countenance to you and give
01:45:09
you peace. Love you guys. Until next
01:45:11
time, I pray that you have a wonderful,
01:45:14
wonderful walk with the Lord that you
01:45:16
continue to grow in the knowledge of him
01:45:18
that the Holy Spirit continually works
01:45:20
in your life and blesses you. And we'll
01:45:22
see you again soon. Bye-bye. [music]
