00:00:00
All right, guys. So, this is kind of
00:00:01
awesome. I love it whenever one of us
00:00:04
slips through the cracks and gets on
00:00:05
mainstream media. I just I love it
00:00:07
because it's so rare that it ever
00:00:10
happens, you know? Like I was on Fox
00:00:12
News like maybe twice. Never got an
00:00:14
invite from CNN, never got an invite
00:00:16
from MSNBC. Um I mean, they avoid us
00:00:18
like the plague and um you know, I think
00:00:21
that's kind of intentional, but one of
00:00:23
our own slipped through the cracks, got
00:00:25
on CNN. Uh, by the way, I'm very curious
00:00:28
to see if they keep having her on. But
00:00:30
of course, I'm talking here about Emma
00:00:31
Vigland. She was on the uh, you know,
00:00:33
the CNN roundt talk show. I don't even
00:00:36
know the name of it, but Abby Phillips
00:00:38
hosts it. And, um, this was glorious.
00:00:41
So, she made a fool out of a bunch of
00:00:44
MAGA wararm mongers and idiots. And I
00:00:46
got some great great clips for you here.
00:00:48
So, let's start with this one. First,
00:00:50
they're going to talk about Venezuela.
00:00:52
and she does a number on this goofball
00:00:55
that's trying to hold his own with her.
00:00:57
Let's get it. >> The consequences that you're talking
00:00:58
about are incredibly dire. But I also
00:01:00
just like want to step back for a second
00:01:02
and look at the justifications that
00:01:04
they're even using. They're saying that
00:01:05
these are narco terrorists, etc. Um and
00:01:07
and that's the Republican line. But then
00:01:09
Trump comes out and goes, "It's for the
00:01:10
oil." I mean, like when we did the
00:01:12
illegal invasion of Iraq and killed
00:01:13
hundreds of thousands of people there,
00:01:15
at least the Bush administration had
00:01:16
like the humility to pretend and go to
00:01:19
the the United Nations and say, "Oh,
00:01:20
we're going to do this through the
00:01:22
regular channels." I mean, this brazen
00:01:23
bully illegal administration doesn't
00:01:26
even go through that pretense. And I
00:01:27
think that should scare everybody
00:01:28
because their foreign policy is might
00:01:30
makes right and that's all that matters.
00:01:32
How refreshing is it that now somebody's
00:01:35
on CNN before the allout war, which they
00:01:38
have planned, by the way, saying it
00:01:40
upfront, oh, this is definitely about
00:01:42
the oil 100%. There's like no two ways
00:01:44
about it. It's very clear. In fact, they
00:01:46
blurted out half the time. They're not
00:01:47
even bothering to lie to us anymore.
00:01:50
They're so high on their own supply that
00:01:52
they realize there's like zero
00:01:53
consequences. So, they're not even
00:01:55
bothering to dot their eyes and cross
00:01:57
their tees and make a propaganda case.
00:01:59
It's just about the oil. They're they're
00:02:00
openly imperialistic. That's what it is.
00:02:03
They're just trying to steal the oil.
00:02:05
They're trying to, you know, put in a
00:02:06
puppet government. They're trying to,
00:02:07
you know, hook up US corporations.
00:02:09
They're trying to give Eric Prince the
00:02:11
ability to illegally occupy another
00:02:12
country like he did in the Middle East
00:02:14
during the peak of the war on terror. By
00:02:16
the way, on that alone, it makes me go,
00:02:18
I don't know if they're going to have
00:02:19
her back. [laughter] On that alone,
00:02:21
you're flying a little too close to the
00:02:23
sun there by telling the truth, Emma.
00:02:25
All right, let's get the reaction.
00:02:26
>> Foreign policy is might makes right and
00:02:28
that's all that matters. No, I'm I'm not
00:02:29
scared. I don't think any American is
00:02:30
scared about the consequences of care
00:02:32
about the world, not just Americans.
00:02:33
>> No, I know, but you're also in this
00:02:34
instance caring about a narot terrorist
00:02:37
group and
00:02:38
>> Oh my god.
00:02:39
>> It's not even fair. It's honestly not
00:02:41
even fair.
00:02:42
>> I mean, they get they get like 70 IQ
00:02:45
morons to to do this panel. And I love
00:02:48
how CNN's obsession with balance leads
00:02:50
to this inevitable conclusion that you
00:02:53
just have like the dumbest people on the
00:02:55
earth trying to rebut factually correct
00:02:57
statements, right? Oh, you care about
00:03:00
narotist. There is zero evidence that
00:03:03
these people are narotist. Zero. They
00:03:06
have presented none. In fact, some of
00:03:08
the evidence they originally presented
00:03:11
turns out it was a picture from 2009.
00:03:14
They had to go back and pull a picture
00:03:15
from 2009 of like a helicopter picture
00:03:18
of a boat that was doing drug running,
00:03:21
right? They were they were spreading
00:03:22
that as if it proved their case. No, it
00:03:25
was total BS. And the reason why they
00:03:26
couldn't use a recent picture is because
00:03:28
there isn't one and because they're
00:03:30
blowing up fishermen on a regular basis,
00:03:32
most of them are fishermen. The people
00:03:33
that they're killing narotist, guys, I
00:03:36
don't I Okay, I don't even know what
00:03:38
that means. What does that mean?
00:03:40
Narcoterist? No. Somebody could be a
00:03:41
drug smuggler. So, a narcotic smuggler,
00:03:44
they're trying to bring drugs into this
00:03:45
country. It It's like a for-profit
00:03:47
business. It's a black market. That's
00:03:49
what it is. A narot terrorist. What does
00:03:51
that mean? You're going to do like a
00:03:52
suicide bombing in the name of cocaine.
00:03:56
That's not a thing. Like, it's not a
00:03:57
thing. For the love of God, people need
00:03:58
to use their brains for like two
00:04:00
seconds. Narotist. Like, what the [ __ ]
00:04:02
are you talking about? It's a madeup
00:04:03
term. It's a madeup term because Steven
00:04:06
Miller and Donald Trump are trying to
00:04:08
skirt the fact that they need approval
00:04:11
for war from Congress. That's what
00:04:12
they're trying to do. And so if they
00:04:14
just say, "Oh, no, these are these are
00:04:16
terrorists, even though they're
00:04:18
allegedly some of them are drug
00:04:19
dealers." No, but if we say they're
00:04:21
terrorists, then we already have the
00:04:22
authorization for use of military force
00:04:25
from the early 2000s from the war on
00:04:27
terror. Because now we're saying, "Oh,
00:04:29
yeah, drug smugglers are akin to
00:04:31
al-Qaeda or ISIS." That's that's the
00:04:34
[ __ ] fake legal argument they're
00:04:35
making in order to not have Congress
00:04:37
approve their stupid war. That's what's
00:04:39
going on here.
00:04:40
>> A narco terrorist group and government
00:04:42
evidence provided. There's been no
00:04:43
evidence showing that they're not
00:04:44
actually drug.
00:04:47
[laughter]
00:04:48
>> Oh my god. Oh my god, bro. My like
00:04:51
16-year-old new atheist uh debate bro
00:04:55
brain just kicked in and I'm like, are
00:04:57
you kidding me? You can't prove a
00:04:59
negative, you [ __ ] And by the way,
00:05:02
look at Emma's face. She's about to call
00:05:03
him out on that. Exactly. Look at her
00:05:05
face. Ready? >> There's been no evidence showing that
00:05:06
they're not actually drugs that are
00:05:07
being sent. That's not how this works.
00:05:08
We do know as [laughter]
00:05:12
>> She's so disgusted with it. Like, what
00:05:14
did you just say? There's no evidence
00:05:16
that they're not in our So, we need to
00:05:18
default to what the emperor, overlord,
00:05:21
god, king, Donald Trump asserts. So, the
00:05:24
default is that what he's saying is
00:05:26
true, and we need to prove otherwise.
00:05:29
literally flipping on its head the idea
00:05:30
of innocent until proven guilty. The
00:05:32
most anti-American unenlightened
00:05:35
position. It's like literally against
00:05:37
the Constitution and due process and the
00:05:39
whole concept of rights. And he just
00:05:41
casually said it as if he was making a
00:05:43
good point. >> We do know as a matter of fact that this
00:05:45
is a country that very clearly does
00:05:47
engage in narotism and is a hub for
00:05:49
sending to this country cocaine
00:05:51
primarily, meth, which is the second.
00:05:53
>> This is these are all lies. These are
00:05:54
just total lies. Less than 5% of drugs
00:05:57
that come into this country come from
00:05:58
Venezuela. Less than 5%. So even their
00:06:01
cover story doesn't make sense.
00:06:03
>> Meth, which is the second leading cause
00:06:05
of drug overdose and deaths, at least
00:06:06
where I'm from. Okay, I don't know who
00:06:07
this guy is, but he needs to retire. He
00:06:10
needs to retire. I mean, this is like
00:06:11
this is pathetic. This is pathetic. This
00:06:13
is embarrassing. All right, I got more
00:06:15
for you. So, here is where you have Emma
00:06:18
Vigland drop a bomb on this guy's head,
00:06:20
no pun intended, uh, by pointing out the
00:06:24
logical flaw in his argument that if
00:06:26
you're Mr. I'm tough on I'm tough on
00:06:28
drugs, bro. The drug dealers are
00:06:30
terrorists, bro. Listen to what she
00:06:32
throws in his face here. Watch. So, the
00:06:34
average person, yeah, if you have a deep
00:06:36
dive conversation about the legal
00:06:37
aspects here, they're going to roll
00:06:39
their eyes. That's just the reality. It
00:06:40
might be important, and it is important.
00:06:42
Roll their eyes because they know who
00:06:43
the target is. Donald Trump is putting
00:06:45
you in a position and you are now
00:06:46
defending drug dealers. Whether or not
00:06:48
that's your intent, that's how it comes
00:06:49
off. >> Do you think that the
00:06:50
>> By the way, let me just before Emma
00:06:51
chimes in here, this reminds me of, by
00:06:54
the way, you're now defending Saddam
00:06:55
Hussein because you don't want to do war
00:06:57
with Iraq and regime change in Iraq.
00:06:59
That's what he sounds like. Whether or
00:07:01
not that's your intent, that's how it
00:07:02
comes. >> Do you think that the Sackler should be
00:07:03
executed in the town square?
00:07:04
>> I don't think this is the town square
00:07:06
and I don't think that this is a declaration. As we've heard specifically
00:07:09
tonight, this was an empty facility, no
00:07:11
deaths, and I would assume that this was
00:07:13
leaked to CNN with with this information
00:07:14
that came from the CIA that if it wasn't
00:07:16
actually a drug distribution center, a
00:07:18
port probably would have come out, too.
00:07:19
>> But we killed dozens of people already
00:07:20
under this pretense. So, do you do you
00:07:22
defend? >> We killed dozens of people who were on
00:07:23
drug boats bringing drugs. Did the Did
00:07:26
the Sacklers help kill Americans with
00:07:28
the opioid epidemic? Yes or no?
00:07:29
>> So, that is a completely separate issue.
00:07:31
But, oh, he can't even engage cuz he
00:07:33
knows she's right. He can't even engage
00:07:36
honestly because he knows she's right.
00:07:38
So he's got to sidestep it. He's got a
00:07:40
red herring because there's no way out
00:07:41
of this completely separate issue. But
00:07:43
>> should they be executed in the town
00:07:44
square without any legal process?
00:07:47
What's next on the drug court?
00:07:49
Should we go to China as well? Do we go
00:07:51
to other countries as well? How far are
00:07:53
we going to go on this? How hard and how
00:07:55
long? we should do things in the best
00:07:56
interest of the American people, which
00:07:58
to him means extrajudicial murder of
00:08:01
innocent fishermen in the Caribbean from
00:08:03
Trinidad and Tobago and Colombia and
00:08:06
Venezuela where we literally talk to the
00:08:08
family members of the people who were
00:08:10
marked. That's best interest. I mean,
00:08:13
the people like this I got to bite my
00:08:15
tongue cuz I'm I'm about to go too far.
00:08:16
>> And how long can can they go continue
00:08:18
going without Congress getting involved?
00:08:19
>> That's a fair point. So this guy is uh I
00:08:22
mean what a bloodthirsty disgusting
00:08:25
psychopath sitting there in his suit
00:08:27
advocating for extrajudicial murder. And
00:08:29
he was caught speeding. He was caught
00:08:30
speeding cuz okay look if you want to
00:08:32
apply your dumbass principle across the
00:08:34
board then shouldn't first in line to be
00:08:36
executed extrajudicially be the Sackler
00:08:38
family because they uh gave us the
00:08:41
opioid epidemic which led TO GOD KNOWS
00:08:43
HOW MANY DEATHS that led to right way
00:08:45
more than some fisherman in the
00:08:47
Caribbean who's not even in drugs
00:08:48
involved in drugs. So, uh, just
00:08:51
absolutely gross stuff. All right, but
00:08:53
now let's get some more here. So, they
00:08:54
also start talking about economics at
00:08:56
one point and, uh, here they start
00:08:58
talking about a billionaire tax and what
00:09:01
follows is glorious
00:09:02
>> to pay for it's a bad argument, a
00:09:05
billionaire, the privilege of living in
00:09:07
a state that facilitates their ability
00:09:09
to take,
00:09:10
>> but you're admitting [laughter] it's
00:09:11
arbitrary, which was exactly my argument
00:09:12
previously. Let me just I just want to
00:09:14
say I'm sorry.
00:09:15
>> Why do we pick arbitrary people that we
00:09:16
hate? >> But you're No, it's not. It's about the
00:09:18
level of wealth that they have
00:09:19
concentrated and excuse me. I'm gonna
00:09:21
finish my point now. What what what
00:09:22
isn't what is important?
00:09:23
>> Uh definitely a [ __ ] billion dollars.
00:09:26
Nobody should have a billion dollars.
00:09:28
Let me repeat that. Nobody should have a
00:09:30
billion dollars. Nobody should have a
00:09:31
net worth of a billion dollars or more.
00:09:34
Why? Because extreme wealth by its very
00:09:36
nature undermines democracy. Undermines
00:09:41
sovereignty and independence of a
00:09:42
government that's supposed to be of, by,
00:09:44
and for the people. That's why. Because
00:09:47
effectively what you're saying is we're
00:09:48
now laying the conditions to have a
00:09:51
shadow government which overrides the
00:09:54
will of the people. And if you defend
00:09:57
extreme wealth concentration, that's
00:09:59
what you're defending. And you need to
00:10:00
own that. You need to say, "I am pro-
00:10:03
oligarchy. I am anti-democracy." That's
00:10:05
what you need to say. Because what we
00:10:08
actually have now is a shadow
00:10:10
government, a transnational shadow
00:10:12
government of billionaire criminals and
00:10:14
their lackey. And guys like this [ __ ]
00:10:17
would defend it.
00:10:18
>> What is important to point out is that
00:10:19
when this country was growing and it was
00:10:20
the the greatest period of growth, the
00:10:22
top marginal tax rate was 90%. The
00:10:24
equivalent of $4 million if you every
00:10:26
dollar that you made over $4 million was
00:10:27
taxed at a 90% rate. Uh prior to the era
00:10:29
of neoliberalism and then eventually
00:10:31
Ronald Reagan slashing taxes and leading
00:10:33
to this explosion of incoming wealth
00:10:34
inequality. And California already did
00:10:36
this with Prop 30. I think it was in
00:10:37
2012 or 2011. They raised the top
00:10:39
marginal tax rates on millionaires. And
00:10:40
you know what happened? The number of
00:10:42
millionaires in California. No, no, let
00:10:43
me finish.
00:10:44
>> I mean, >> the number of millionaires increased in
00:10:47
California.
00:10:48
>> My goodness. My goodness. I think the
00:10:51
smuggest man in politics must has to
00:10:53
resign. I think he's got to step aside.
00:10:54
This was brutal. [laughter]
00:10:56
This is brutal. This is like you you got
00:10:58
nothing, bro. You got nothing. Look,
00:11:00
this is what happens when you let like
00:11:03
educated, intelligent lefties on TV.
00:11:07
This is what happens. She happens to
00:11:10
know [ __ ]
00:11:12
She happens to like be filled in on all
00:11:15
of the relevant details.
00:11:17
Not, you know, she's not like this guy
00:11:20
in empty smug an empty suit with a smug
00:11:23
face regurgitating MAGA talking points
00:11:25
to please Donald Trump. And so he's
00:11:28
running into a brick wall of information
00:11:31
and logic and facts and it is not going
00:11:34
well for him man. It is not going well
00:11:36
>> of millionaires increased in California.
00:11:39
So there's nothing to this capital.
00:11:40
[laughter]
00:11:45
>> What is the number that makes you too
00:11:47
rich?
00:11:48
>> Well like I just said all wealth over a
00:11:51
billion dollars should be taxed at 100%.
00:11:53
That would be my answer to that
00:11:54
question. We can draw a nice clean line.
00:11:57
You max out at $999,999,999.
00:12:03
You should get a [ __ ] like plaque
00:12:05
sent to you in the mail that says,
00:12:06
"Congratulations, you won at
00:12:08
capitalism." And you know what? Nobody's
00:12:11
going to shed a tear for the
00:12:12
[ __ ] worth $999 million.
00:12:14
Nobody's going to shed a tear. That's
00:12:15
all right. You know what? I'M PROBABLY
00:12:17
I'M PROBABLY TOO CONSERVATIVE on this
00:12:19
question. I got people in my audience
00:12:21
who would respond to me and they're
00:12:23
probably correct by the way when they
00:12:24
say Kyle nobody should even have that
00:12:26
much wealth. Call me a moderate on this
00:12:28
issue. You smug [ __ ]
00:12:30
>> Is not my uh that's not for me to decide
00:12:33
[laughter] I want to raise taxes on the
00:12:34
wealthy percent the top% the top 1%
00:12:37
>> when you look at the problems in your
00:12:39
>> and also he can't grapple with he keeps
00:12:40
going back to that question. He can't
00:12:42
grapple that what she's talking about is
00:12:44
taxing income. When you talk about a top
00:12:46
marginal rate of 90% like we used to
00:12:48
have, that's income. And it's income
00:12:50
over $4 million per year. That's also
00:12:53
like every civilized society is built on
00:12:56
the back of a progressive income tax,
00:12:59
which means high marginal tax rates. the
00:13:02
countries that self-report being the
00:13:03
happiest, that have the best quality of
00:13:04
life, that have the best institutions
00:13:06
that function well, it's built on the
00:13:09
back of a very high marginal tax rates
00:13:11
and a progressive tax system. And these
00:13:13
idiots never can contend with that fact
00:13:16
because they either don't know that or
00:13:18
don't care about that because they
00:13:19
support billionaires in principle. This
00:13:21
guy sucks up to the exact people who are
00:13:24
ruining this country and ruining the
00:13:26
world. By the way, it's it's it's the
00:13:28
billionaires. They're the problem.
00:13:30
They're the main problem. It's the
00:13:32
billionaires and the wararmongers and
00:13:33
the fascists. And he defends all three
00:13:35
of them and fits into those ca some of
00:13:37
those camps himself. But I'm still not
00:13:39
done because then they start talking
00:13:40
about Israel. And uh yet again, as I
00:13:43
watch this, I go, damn, she's doing a
00:13:45
great job. But uh they might not let her
00:13:47
back on.
00:13:48
>> I think that is the big selling point on
00:13:50
this. >> Yes. And I do think that the the kind of
00:13:52
elephant in the room here is the United
00:13:54
States completely losing and the Biden
00:13:55
administration is immensely complicit in
00:13:57
this as well. uh moral standing
00:13:58
throughout the world due to our
00:14:00
complicity in the genocide in Gaza,
00:14:01
which has made it very difficult for us
00:14:03
to uh speak to Ukrainian sovereignty.
00:14:06
>> Look at his smug face. I like I swear to
00:14:07
God he It's like he wakes up in the
00:14:09
morning and practices in the mirror
00:14:11
being the smugggest person on planet
00:14:13
Earth. Who does this appeal to? I get
00:14:15
there's like other right-wing [ __ ]
00:14:17
in the elite pundit class who look at
00:14:19
him and yes, you made it you made an
00:14:22
even more smugf face today, sir. We love
00:14:24
it. Yes. Yes. But everybody else looks
00:14:26
at you like the least relatable man on
00:14:28
the planet. So they're talking here
00:14:30
about Russia and Ukraine and the point
00:14:32
that Em is making is we lost all all
00:14:34
moral authority cuz like for us to you
00:14:37
know berate Russia over what they're
00:14:39
doing here which you know we should do
00:14:41
but it doesn't pack a punch because
00:14:44
we're arming and funding and backing a
00:14:46
genocide that Israel is doing in Gaza.
00:14:47
So now for us to cry crocodile tears
00:14:50
about you know uh sovereignty of a
00:14:52
country is like are you kidding me? You
00:14:55
have to be kidding. We can't support a
00:14:57
violation of sovereignty on the one hand
00:14:58
and on the other hand say we're against
00:15:00
this and we're going to stand up for
00:15:01
that. It's like it's just so it's
00:15:03
hollow. It's so hollow and vapid.
00:15:05
>> Speak to Ukrainian sovereignty and
00:15:07
having a bully like the the Russian
00:15:09
government invading their sovereign
00:15:10
territory. We had a a doctor on our show
00:15:12
who spoke about how the death toll is in
00:15:14
the hundreds of thousands at this point
00:15:15
because the numbers that are currently
00:15:16
being reported are only the numbers of
00:15:18
the death solder people of people who
00:15:19
have been counted in the hospital. There
00:15:21
are hundreds of thousands of people
00:15:22
presumed dead, suffocating to death,
00:15:24
crushed to death under rubble because of
00:15:25
United States bombs. And that's across
00:15:27
this administration and Trump here who
00:15:29
did get this ceasefire that he touts all
00:15:31
the time in October. But when you look
00:15:33
at the actual numbers here, Israel has
00:15:34
violated it hundreds of times since that
00:15:36
period, multiple times a day, killed at
00:15:38
least 400 Palestinians during that
00:15:40
period. And this will go down as one of
00:15:41
the worst crimes in the history of
00:15:42
humanity that our government, the Biden
00:15:44
administration, and the Trump
00:15:45
administration are complicit in
00:15:47
[applause]
00:15:49
>> Thank you. Thank you. How many I was
00:15:52
screaming from day one of that
00:15:54
ceasefire. This is a fake ceasefire just
00:15:57
like the one in Lebanon that Israel
00:15:58
violates on a daily basis. Israel's idea
00:16:01
of a ceasefire is, say it with me, you
00:16:03
cease, we fire. That's what it is. And
00:16:06
so now you finally have somebody on CNN
00:16:08
going, "This is fake. This is fake.
00:16:10
They're still bulldozing Palestinian
00:16:12
buildings. They're killing innocent
00:16:13
Palestinians. Why are we pretending that
00:16:15
this is real? In fact, it's so
00:16:16
nefarious. Trump wanted to do the optics
00:16:19
and the theater of a ceasefire to then
00:16:22
divert international attention away from
00:16:24
Israel so that they can continue to
00:16:26
finish the genocide and the ethnic
00:16:27
cleansing. That was the goal. That was
00:16:29
the plan.
00:16:30
>> The Biden administration and the Trump
00:16:31
administration are complicit.
00:16:34
We have we have to debate this
00:16:36
[laughter] >> We don't have time for the anti-Israel
00:16:38
propaganda. We have time for the
00:16:39
anti-Israel.
00:16:41
>> They're called facts, not anti-Israel
00:16:43
propaganda. Okay. Still not done though.
00:16:45
We got one more. Here we go. This is
00:16:47
where Smuggy McMuggington replies.
00:16:50
>> And this will go down as one of the
00:16:51
worst crimes in the history of humanity
00:16:53
that our government, the Biden
00:16:54
administration and the Trump
00:16:55
administration are complicit in it. We
00:16:58
have we have to debate this.
00:16:59
>> We don't have time for the Israel.
00:17:02
Ready? You guys ready? Uh how much you
00:17:04
want to bet? The reply uh involves but
00:17:08
Hamas. How much you want to bet? The
00:17:10
reply is basically but Hamas. don't have
00:17:13
time for the anti-Israel
00:17:15
saying Hamas was wrong at any point
00:17:17
during this conver so we already got one
00:17:19
put a little Hamas counter in the bottom
00:17:21
corner we already got one mention
00:17:24
we know that there's plenty of
00:17:26
disagreement on that issue
00:17:27
>> I never said that
00:17:28
>> we let it we let it un spool for two
00:17:29
minutes but sure honestly have a quick
00:17:31
>> I I don't understand Israel is our ally
00:17:33
not a single word in your speech for the
00:17:35
atrocities that were committed on
00:17:37
October the 7th not a single word not a
00:17:40
single word for the idea that Israel has
00:17:41
every right to defend defend itself. Not
00:17:43
a single word for the fact that Hamas
00:17:45
right now >> two.
00:17:46
>> I would even count October 7th as part
00:17:48
of the group of Hamas. Here we go.
00:17:49
>> Is killing people inside of their own
00:17:51
people. You seem to lay it all at the
00:17:53
feet of Israel, a democratic ally and
00:17:55
your own country. And you have no
00:17:56
negative word for the terrorists who
00:17:58
raped and murdered and kidnapped. Zero
00:18:00
is human right.
00:18:01
>> That's another reference to Hamas. So
00:18:03
basic three or four is what we're at in
00:18:04
what what was it literally less than a
00:18:06
minute. So in other words, the whole
00:18:07
response was but Hamas. What what Emma
00:18:10
was bringing up was look, we are
00:18:13
committing a genocide. We're committing
00:18:14
a genocide. The US is arming and funding
00:18:16
Israel. They're committing a genocide.
00:18:17
You have, according to a doctor that was
00:18:19
on the majority report, hundreds of
00:18:20
thousands of people who are actually
00:18:22
dead, innocent people. They bombed
00:18:24
schools, hospitals, you know, UN
00:18:26
buildings, world central kitchen
00:18:28
workers, you go down the list. They've
00:18:30
starved people. They've starved people.
00:18:32
They've sniped kids in the face. His
00:18:35
reaction to that is, "But Hamas is bad.
00:18:38
We're literally not even talking about
00:18:40
Hamas. What? There's 30 to 40,000 Hamas
00:18:43
members total. There there were 2.3
00:18:47
million people in Gaza. And they said,
00:18:49
"We're going to do a total siege. Cut
00:18:51
off all the food, fuel, water, and
00:18:52
electricity." So, in other words, do
00:18:54
collective punishment and blame
00:18:56
everybody for the crimes of Hamas. And
00:18:58
now, by the way, what do they say the
00:19:00
official numbers are of Palestinians
00:19:01
remaining in Gaza? 1.5 million. You do
00:19:04
the math on that. We're talking about
00:19:06
what? 800,000 people. 800,000 that have
00:19:10
been killed by their own numbers, not
00:19:12
mine. That's what Trump and Netanyahu
00:19:14
say. We got to move 1.5 million people.
00:19:16
Well, if there were 2.3 million and now
00:19:18
you're saying there's 1.5 million, you
00:19:19
do the math on that. But the smuggl man
00:19:22
on the planet wants to defend committing
00:19:25
hundreds or thousands of October 7ths in
00:19:29
the other direction because Hamas bad.
00:19:32
So because Hamas is bad, we're going to
00:19:34
copy their tactics except do it worse
00:19:36
and do it more often and kill more
00:19:38
people and you got to shut up about it
00:19:40
because when we do it, we're good. We're
00:19:42
the good guys. So this is what I'm
00:19:44
talking about. I mean, just And by the
00:19:46
way, like the fake outrage. Look at the
00:19:48
way this guy talks. It is the fakest
00:19:49
outrage I think I've ever seen that were
00:19:51
committed on October the 7th. Not a
00:19:53
single word, not a single word for the
00:19:55
idea that Israel has every right to
00:19:57
defend itself. Not a single word for the
00:19:59
fact that Hamas right now is killing
00:20:00
people inside of their own people. You
00:20:02
seem to lay it all at the feet of
00:20:04
Israel. >> That's a lie. By the way, what who Hamas
00:20:06
was killing was literal ISIS gangsters
00:20:10
who were being paid by Israel to steal
00:20:13
the food to keep them from Palestinian
00:20:15
civilians. That's who was killed. It
00:20:17
just shows like he doesn't actually know
00:20:18
anything. There's been detailed
00:20:20
reporting on this from drop site news
00:20:22
like these ISIS gangs that are paid by
00:20:24
Israel to like loot and steal and
00:20:26
pillage and then Israel turns around and
00:20:28
blames it on Hamas. Like he doesn't know
00:20:30
the first thing or if he does know it,
00:20:32
he's just lying about it. But I actually
00:20:34
think he doesn't know anything about
00:20:35
this. He just goes with the Apac line.
00:20:37
He just goes with what his [ __ ]
00:20:38
handlers tell him to say. A democratic
00:20:40
ally in your own country and you have no
00:20:42
negative word for the terrorists who
00:20:44
raped and murder and kidnapped. Zero. No
00:20:47
negative word for the terror. Yeah, Emma
00:20:49
Vigland, a pro-terrorist, is a like,
00:20:52
see, this is how ridiculous these people
00:20:54
are and just how much they can't respond
00:20:56
substantively is. So, now the allegation
00:20:59
is Emma Vigland supports terrorism.
00:21:02
Like, who's going to believe that? Who's
00:21:04
going to Yeah. The the the young blonde
00:21:08
lady who hosts a YouTube show, she
00:21:10
really is out there [ __ ] in her spare
00:21:12
time, uh, you know, recruiting for ISIS.
00:21:15
Like, what the [ __ ] are you talking
00:21:16
about? Israeli human rights group says
00:21:18
they're committing genocide.
00:21:19
>> You still don't. >> We got to go.
00:21:20
>> Did I do good? Zionist lobbyists who pay
00:21:22
me money. Did I do good? No, you didn't.
00:21:24
Actually, that was actually kind of
00:21:26
embarrassing. That was humiliating. And
00:21:28
this is all they got. All they got is
00:21:29
fake outrage. Um, and by the way, he's
00:21:33
berating her. You didn't say anything
00:21:34
about October 7th and about Hamas.
00:21:35
Meanwhile, he was she said a bunch of
00:21:38
stuff about the genocide. He didn't say
00:21:39
anything about the genocide. There was
00:21:41
no acknowledgement that it is a
00:21:42
genocide. There was no word for any of
00:21:44
the children who were murdered. There's
00:21:46
there was no word for the hundreds of
00:21:48
thousands of people killed. There was no
00:21:50
word for the fact that Gaza basically
00:21:52
doesn't even exist anymore. Like it's
00:21:54
gone. It's just all rubble. There's no
00:21:56
word for any of that. So, by his own
00:21:58
standard, he also [ __ ] fails. It's
00:22:00
just it's unbelievable. It's
00:22:01
unbelievable. But amazing job there from
00:22:03
Emma Vigland. Look, I dealing with these
00:22:05
people. I don't know, man. I I I don't
00:22:08
have it in me, I don't think, to be as
00:22:10
nice as I get older. I get I get more
00:22:13
mean. I have zero uh zero patience for
00:22:18
any of this, right? My fuse is short. Um
00:22:20
I probably end up being an [ __ ]
00:22:23
Like, you know, God bless her for
00:22:25
pulling this off and doing such a great
00:22:26
job. But, you know, for me, buddy, I
00:22:29
don't know if I'd be able to control
00:22:30
myself in some of these situations
00:22:32
because I just I like I'm so done. I'm
00:22:34
so done with these like this like fake
00:22:38
[ __ ] from these mainstream pundits
00:22:40
who all say the same thing. It's all so
00:22:42
boring, so dumb. Like, oh, what a shock.
00:22:46
The conservative on CNN supports Israel
00:22:48
DESPITE THE GENOCIDE. OH, like it's it's
00:22:50
it's just it's enough already. It's
00:22:52
enough. But anyway, I hope they let her
00:22:54
back on because she absolutely freaked
00:22:55
it. Hey y'all, do me a favor and like

The driver had his phone hooked up through the stereo and was pumping out an episode through the car speakers — loudly, as if looking to convert a captive audience. “Do you like Kyle Kulinski?” The driver, Ahmed, was a recent immigrant and apparently a die-hard fan of Secular Talk, the political talk show that Kulinski broadcasts on YouTube. I told him, yes, in fact. I do like Kulinski, had come across his show several years ago, and, all things considered, he seemed pretty good. “He understands what we’re up against,” Ahmed said. “Like Bernie.” But I was surprised to hear Kulinski’s name mentioned in the same breath as Bernie Sanders, particularly with such adoration. Because what I did remember about Kulinski’s show struck me as mostly capital-P “progressive” takes on the news — the left wing of the Netroots crowd more than the democratic socialism Sanders has popularized. It’s an impression that wasn’t entirely incorrect. “I have no time for philosophical, airy bullshit,” Kulinski tells me from his home in Westchester, New York. “I don’t want to hear about Lenin. I don’t want to hear about Marx. I just want a super plainspoken, straightforward agenda with a straightforward way of selling it.” With over 800,000 subscribers and nearly 670 million total views on YouTube, selling a progressive agenda is clearly something Kulinski knows how to do — even Democracy Now, the long-standing flagship of progressive media, cannot match his reach on the platform. Chapo Trap House can certainly boast a wildly devoted fan base (and a not insignificant degree of media influence), but their audience is roughly half the size of Kulinski’s. While Secular Talk might be more likely to be looped in with the progressive networks around Air America and Pacifica alums like Sam Seder than the more resolutely socialist world, Kulinski’s fiery rhetoric, razor-sharp class instincts, and knack for withering takedowns sets him apart from his peers. Judging by his rhetoric alone, he’s closer to a Eugene Debs than a Chris Hayes. But unlike Hayes, Amy Goodman, or his friend Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks — who began airing Secular Talk on his web network seven years ago — the thirty-two-year-old Kulinski is virtually invisible in the mainstream media. Despite his enormous fan base, his show has never once been mentioned in the obligatory trend pieces on “the Millennial Left” pumped out by the prestige media. Nor has Kulinski’s name ever popped up at all in the New York Times, Vox, the New Yorker, New York Magazine, or the Washington Post, despite his leading role in cofounding Justice Democrats, the organization widely credited with sweeping Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the rest of “the Squad” to power. Just last week, his Wikipedia page was deleted. The reason? “There is very simply no [reliable source] coverage of this person,” according to one moderator. In new media, he’s king — the Sean Hannity of the Berniecrat left. In old media, he’s nobody. I suspect there are a few reasons for that. There is nothing “cool” about Kulinski’s show. (As a friend put it, “‘Welcome to Secular Talk’ sounds like something you’d hear on Egyptian radio.”) His no-nonsense social-democratic politics won’t get him much cred with the Full Communism crowd. He records his show not in Brooklyn or Los Angeles, but in a studio he built himself in his modest Westchester home. His hair is too groomed and his taste in clothes too preppy to qualify as “Dirtbag Left.” Nor has he ever attended an n+1 release party. “Not only have I not attended one,” he says, “I have no idea what that means.” And yet he’s astonishingly plugged-in for a young man in the suburbs. Wondering how Sanders ended up on the Joe Rogan Experience? Kulinski, a frequent guest on Rogan’s wildly popular show, introduced them. “You make the most sense to me,” Rogan told Kulinski on a recent episode. “You’re a normal person.” Much like Sanders himself, Kulinski’s show has a massive audience that just doesn’t compute with our media’s understanding of “what the kids want” or even “what the left-wing kids want.” It’s probably for the best — the very woke and very WASP-ish decorum haunting much of the media world is nowhere to be found in Secular Talk. “Corporate Democrats over-focus on identity as a trick to divert you from the issues that unite us all — class issues,” he said on a recent episode.
