Disney's latest hit, heralded by the critics as a "classic", took an Oztastic £3.7 million over a three day weekend leaving this week's other new releases all trailing beneath the £1 million mark. Across the globe Disney found box office gold at the end of the rainbow as Oz opened worldwide at number one, with estimated returns of $150m. In the US Disney opened the film to a phenomenal $80.3 million - the biggest 2013 debut and third biggest March opener ever.
