This lovely Vintage Philips RH811 came to me from a viewer of my YouTube channel. Impressed with my other repairs, he asked if I could get this unit working, so he could gift it to his father. Happy to do so, I took delivery of the unit. Initial inspection showed the rotary controls were very noisy. The cassette deck did not work at all. The stereo indicator did not light when tuned to an FM Stereo station. The video is long, TWO hours so you may want to skip to th relevant sections. Apologies for the intermittent loss of sound. The replacement motor uses the old "centrifical regulator" method of speed control. Hope you enjoy it.
