You can do this job while the caliper bracket is still on the vehicle but in this video I used a new caliper bracket and slide pin on the bench for clearer demonstration of the process. The method is the same with a used and dirty caliper although, needless to say, it will require a bit more cleaning than this one. A slider pin can seize in the bore when it hasn't been greased properly or with the correct lubricant.
