    Urgent Charters Antonov 26 stand outside of  competition with other European aircrafts it

    is a niche aircraft solving very specific  tasks. Let me show you in detail. Antonov

    26 was designed and produced in Antonov  design Bureau in Kyiv in 60s and 90s.

    It is a twin engine turbo prop aircraft initially  designed as a military transport aircraft. iI has

    length of almost 24 meters, height of 8.5 meters  and wingspan of 29 meters. Three engines is one

    of the unique feature of this aircraft and despite  my overview is not technical but more commercial I

    just can't avoid this information. Being military  Antonov was produced as a total autonomous

    aircraft so except two engines it has a jet engine  for an autonomous start. This engine works as a

    substation that's why Antonov doesn't require  a GPU for a startup. This is a big advantage

    over European type of aircraft like Saab, ATR or  Metroliner. So we should remember that Antonov

    26 was designed at the time when the fuel didn't  cost too much so I can't say it is cost-effective

    aircraft due its fuel consumption. In practice  these numbers do not play a critical role because

    as I said before this is a niche aircraft and  clients have other reasons to use it. Definitely

    Antonov 26 is a quite an old aircraft but all  these years there is no alternative on the market.

    It is a highly reliable aircraft and clients still  love it. While booking Antonv 26 you have to keep
