    repeatedly. Her shrieks combined with

    confusion seem to be getting worse. Here

    is Fox in response to a jab from the

    youngest member of Congress, 28-year-old

    Maxwell Frost, a Democrat from Florida.

    controversial policy positions. In her

    first term, she voted against a $51

    billion aid package to victims of
    00:02:23
    Hurricane Katrina, even though the

    package had the support of nearly all
    00:02:27
    members of Congress and then President
    00:02:30
    George W. Bush. More than a decade ago,
    00:02:33
    Fox co-sponsored legislation that would
    00:02:35
    stop children born in the United States
    00:02:36
    to undocumented parents from gaining
    00:02:38
    citizenship. In other words, Fox was
    00:02:41
    against the Constitution's birthright
    00:02:43
    citizenship long before most MAG
    00:02:46
    extremists. And a few years ago, Fox was
    00:02:49
    fined for bypassing metal detectors put
    00:02:52
    in place outside the House Chamber
    00:02:53
    following the January 6 capital riot.

    She tried to go right around them. But
    00:02:58
    over the past year, it is Fox's
    00:02:59
    leadership of the House Rules Committee

    that has generated the most controversy
    00:03:03
    and attention. Colorado Democrat Jonah

    Goose recently called out Fox for
    00:03:07
    flippantly changing committee rules and
    00:03:10
    limiting speaking time except her own.

    accountable long term for scaring people

    for something that is not in this bill.

    spending bill that cut billions from

    Medicare and Medicaid. The assessment

    that it would send health care costs

    skyrocketing and force the closure of

    rural hospitals came from nonpartisan

    analysts. But Fox calls such independent

    analysis distortion.

    Last month on the House floor, Fox first

    endorsed voting to release the Epstein
    00:05:05
    files as long as the vote could be done
    00:05:07
    under suspension, which means
    00:05:09
    anonymously. The ranking Democrat on

    Fox's committee, Jim McGovern, of
    00:05:13
    Massachusetts, blasted Fox's hypocrisy
    00:05:15
    on the issue of transparency and noted
    00:05:18
    Fox's previous opposition in committee
    00:05:21
    to releasing the Epstein files. First,

    here's Fox. Let's vote now. Democrats

    should stop, listen, and take yes for an

    Republicans, Fox is seeking re-election

    in 2026. However, if Democrats take

    control of the US House, Fox will no

    longer be a committee chair. Instead,

    she'll be just another rank and file GOP

    lawmaker squawking at perceived slights.
