00:04:25
society today is composed of a series of
00:04:29
institutions
00:04:31
from political institutions legal
00:04:33
institutions religious institutions
00:04:36
to institutions of social class familial
00:04:39
values and occupational specialization
00:04:41
it is obvious the profound influence
00:04:44
these traditionalized structures have in
00:04:47
shaping our understandings and
00:04:48
perspectives
00:04:50
yet of all the social institutions we
00:04:53
are born into directed by and
00:04:56
conditioned upon there seems to be no
00:04:58
system is taken for granted and
00:05:00
misunderstood as the monetary system
00:05:04
taking on nearly religious proportions
00:05:07
the established monetary institution
00:05:09
exists as one of the most unquestioned
00:05:11
forms of Faith there is
00:05:13
how money is created
00:05:15
the policies by which it is governed and
00:05:18
how it truly affects Society our
00:05:20
unregistered interests of the great
00:05:22
majority of the population
00:05:32
in a world where one percent of the
00:05:35
population owns 40 percent of the
00:05:37
planet's wealth in a world where 34 000
00:05:40
children die every single day from
00:05:43
poverty and preventable diseases and
00:05:45
where 50 percent of the world's
00:05:47
population lives on less than two
00:05:49
dollars a day one thing is clear
00:05:53
something is very wrong
00:05:56
and whether we are aware of it or not
00:05:57
the lifeblood of all of our established
00:06:00
institutions and thus Society itself is
00:06:03
money
00:06:05
therefore understanding this institution
00:06:07
of monetary policy is critical to
00:06:10
understanding why our lives are the way
00:06:12
they are
00:06:13
unfortunately economics is often viewed
00:06:16
with confusion in boredom endless
00:06:18
streams of financial jargon coupled with
00:06:20
intimidating mathematics quickly deters
00:06:22
people from attempts at understanding it
00:06:25
however the fact is the complexity
00:06:28
associated with the financial system is
00:06:30
a mere mask designed to conceal one of
00:06:33
the most socially paralyzing structures
00:06:35
Humanity has ever endured

00:06:57
a number of years ago the Central Bank
00:07:00
of the United States the Federal Reserve
00:07:02
produced a document entitled modern
00:07:05
money mechanics this publication
00:07:07
detailed the institutionalized practice
00:07:09
of money creation as utilized by the
00:07:12
Federal Reserve and the web of global
00:07:14
commercial Banks it supports on the
00:07:16
opening page the document states its
00:07:18
objective the purpose of this booklet is
00:07:20
to describe the basic process of money
00:07:22
Creation in a fractional Reserve banking
00:07:25
system it then proceeds to describe this
00:07:28
fractional Reserve process through
00:07:30
various banking terminology
00:07:32
a translation of which goes something
00:07:34
like this
00:07:35
the United States government decides it
00:07:38
needs some money so it calls up the
00:07:40
Federal Reserve and requests say 10
00:07:42
billion dollars the FED replies saying
00:07:45
sure we'll buy 10 billion in government
00:07:47
bonds from you so the government takes
00:07:50
some pieces of paper paints some
00:07:52
official looking designs on them and
00:07:54
calls them treasury bonds then it puts a
00:07:57
value on these bonds to the sum of 10
00:07:59
billion dollars and sends them over to
00:08:01
the Fed
00:08:02
in turn the people at the FED draw up a
00:08:05
bunch of impressive pieces of paper
00:08:06
themselves only this time calling them
00:08:08
Federal Reserve notes also designated a
00:08:11
value of 10 billion dollars to the set
00:08:14
the FED then takes these notes and
00:08:16
trades them for the bonds once this
00:08:19
exchange is complete the government then
00:08:21
takes the 10 billion in Federal Reserve
00:08:23
notes and deposits it into a bank
00:08:25
account and upon this deposit the paper
00:08:28
notes officially become legal tender
00:08:30
money adding 10 billion to the U.S money
00:08:33
supply and there it is 10 billion in new
00:08:36
money has been created
00:08:38
of course this example is a
00:08:40
generalization for in reality this
00:08:43
transaction would occur electronically
00:08:45
with no paper used at all in fact only
00:08:48
three percent of the U.S money supply
00:08:49
exists in physical currency the other 97
00:08:53
percent essentially exists in computers
00:08:56
alone
00:08:58
now government bonds are by Design
00:09:00
instruments of debt and when the FED
00:09:03
purchases these bonds with money it
00:09:05
essentially created at a thin air the
00:09:08
government is actually promising to pay
00:09:10
back that money to the Fed
00:09:12
in other words the money was created out
00:09:15
of debt
00:09:17
this mind-numbing Paradox of how money
00:09:20
or value can be created out of debt or a
00:09:23
liability will become more clear as we
00:09:25
further this exercise
00:09:27
so the exchange has been made and now 10
00:09:29
billion dollars sits in a commercial
00:09:31
bank account here's where it gets really
00:09:33
interesting for is based on the
00:09:35
fractional Reserve practice that 10
00:09:38
billion dollar deposit instantly becomes
00:09:40
part of the bank's reserves just as all
00:09:43
deposits do
00:09:45
and regarding reserve requirements as
00:09:48
stated in modern money mechanics
00:09:50
a bank must maintain legally required
00:09:52
reserves equal to a prescribed
00:09:54
percentage of its deposits it then
00:09:57
quantifies this by stating under current
00:09:59
regulations the reserve requirement
00:10:01
against most transaction accounts is 10
00:10:04
percent
00:10:05
this means that with a 10 billion dollar
00:10:07
deposit 10 or 1 billion is held as the
00:10:11
required Reserve while the other 9
00:10:13
billion is considered an excessive
00:10:16
reserve and can be used as the basis for
00:10:19
new loans
00:10:21
now it is logical to assume that this 9
00:10:24
billion is literally coming out of the
00:10:26
existing 10 billion dollar deposit
00:10:28
however this is actually not the case
00:10:30
what really happens is that the 9
00:10:33
billion is simply created out of thin
00:10:35
air on top of the existing 10 billion
00:10:37
deposit this is how the money supply is
00:10:40
expanded
00:10:42
as stated in modern money mechanics of
00:10:44
course they the banks do not really pay
00:10:47
out loans from the money they receive as
00:10:49
deposits if they did this no additional
00:10:51
money would be created what they do when
00:10:54
they make loans is to accept promissory
00:10:56
notes loan contracts in exchange for
00:10:59
credits money to the borrowers
00:11:01
transaction accounts in other words the
00:11:04
9 billion can be created out of nothing
00:11:06
simply because there is a demand for
00:11:08
such a loan and that there is a 10
00:11:10
billion dollar deposit to satisfy the
00:11:12
reserve requirements
00:11:14
now let's assume that somebody walks
00:11:17
into this bank and borrows the newly
00:11:19
available nine billion dollars they will
00:11:21
then most likely take that money and
00:11:23
deposit it into their own bank account
00:11:27
the process then repeats for that
00:11:29
deposit becomes part of the bank's
00:11:31
reserves 10 is isolated and in turn 90
00:11:34
percent of the 9 billion or 8.1 billion
00:11:37
is now available as newly created money
00:11:40
for more loans and of course that 8.1
00:11:43
can be loaned out and redeposited
00:11:45
creating an additional 7.2 billion
00:11:48
to 6.5 billion
00:11:50
to 5.9 billion Etc
00:11:53
this deposit money creation loan cycle
00:11:56
can technically go on to Infinity the
00:11:59
average mathematical result is that
00:12:01
about 90 billion dollars can be created
00:12:04
on top of the original 10 billion
00:12:07
in other words for every deposit that
00:12:09
ever occurs in the banking system about
00:12:11
nine times that amount can be created
00:12:13
out of thin air
00:12:15
money Jitters ask the obliging Bank of
00:12:19
America for a jar of soothing instant
00:12:21
bunny
00:12:23
m-o-n-e-y in the form of a convenient
00:12:25
personal loan
00:12:28
so now that we understand how money is
00:12:31
created by this fractional Reserve
00:12:33
banking system a logical yet elusive
00:12:36
question might come to mind
00:12:38
what is actually giving this newly
00:12:40
created money value the answer the money
00:12:43
that already exists
00:12:46
the new money essentially steals value
00:12:48
from the existing money supply
00:12:51
for the total pool of money is being
00:12:53
increased irrespective to demand for
00:12:55
goods and services and as supply and
00:12:58
demand finds equilibrium prices rise
00:13:00
diminishing the purchasing power of each
00:13:03
individual dollar
00:13:04
this is generally referred to as
00:13:07
inflation and inflation is essentially a
00:13:10
hidden tax on the public
00:13:12
what is the advice that you generally
00:13:14
get and that is inflate the currency
00:13:16
they don't say debase the currency they
00:13:18
don't say devalue the currency they
00:13:20
don't say cheat the people who are saved
00:13:21
they say lower the interest rates the
00:13:24
real deception is when we distort the
00:13:27
value of money when we create money out
00:13:29
of thin air we have no savings yet
00:13:31
there's so-called Capital so my question
00:13:34
boils down to this how in the world can
00:13:37
we expect to solve the problems of
00:13:39
inflation that is the increase in the
00:13:42
supply money with more inflation of
00:13:45
course it can't the fractional Reserve
00:13:48
System of monetary expansion is
00:13:50
inherently inflationary for the act of
00:13:52
expanding the money supply without there
00:13:55
being a proportional expansion of goods
00:13:57
and services in the economy will always
00:13:59
debase a currency in fact a quick glance
00:14:03
at the Historical values of the US
00:14:04
dollar versus the money supply reflects
00:14:07
this point definitively for the inverse
00:14:09
relationship is obvious
00:14:13
one dollar in 1913 required 21.60 in
00:14:18
2007 to match value
00:14:22
that is a 96 devaluation since the
00:14:25
Federal Reserve came into existence
00:14:28
[Music]
00:14:30
now if this reality of inherent and
00:14:33
Perpetual inflation seems absurd and
00:14:36
economically self-defeating hold that
00:14:38
thought
00:14:39
for absurdity is an understatement in
00:14:42
regard to how our financial system
00:14:44
really operates
00:14:46
for in our financial system money is
00:14:49
debt
00:14:51
and debt is money
00:14:53
here is a chart of the U.S money supply
00:14:55
from 1950 to 2006.
00:14:59
here is a chart of the U.S national debt
00:15:01
for the same period how interesting it
00:15:04
is that the trends are virtually the
00:15:06
same for the more money there is the more
00:15:09
debt there is the more debt there is the
00:15:11
more money there is
00:15:13
to put it a different way every single
00:15:15
Dollar in your wallet is owed to
00:15:18
somebody by somebody for remember the
00:15:21
only way the money can come into
00:15:22
existence is from loans therefore if
00:15:25
everyone in the country were able to pay
00:15:27
off all debts including the government
00:15:29
there would not be one dollar in
00:15:31
circulation
00:15:43
in fact the last time in American
00:15:45
history the national debt was completely
00:15:47
paid off was in 1835 after President
00:15:50
Andrew Jackson shut down the central
00:15:53
bank that proceeded the Federal Reserve
00:15:56
in fact Jackson's entire political
00:15:58
platform essentially revolved around his
00:16:00
commitment to shut down the Central Bank
00:16:03
stating at one point the Bold efforts
00:16:05
the present bank has made to control the
00:16:07
government are but premonitions of the
00:16:09
Fate that awaits the American people
00:16:11
should they be deluded into a
00:16:13
perpetuation of this institution or the
00:16:15
establishment of another lichen
00:16:18
unfortunately his message was
00:16:20
short-lived and the international
00:16:21
Bankers succeeded to install another
00:16:23
Central Bank in 1913. the Federal
00:16:26
Reserve and as long as this institution
00:16:29
exists
00:16:30
Perpetual debt is guaranteed
00:16:34
now so far we have discussed the reality
00:16:37
that money is created out of debt
00:16:39
through loans these loans are Based On A
00:16:42
bank's reserves and reserves are derived
00:16:44
from deposits and through this
00:16:46
fractional Reserve System any one
00:16:48
deposit can create nine times its
00:16:50
original value in turn to basing the
00:16:53
existing money supply raising prices in
00:16:56
society and since all this money is
00:16:58
created out of debt and circulated
00:17:01
randomly through Commerce people become
00:17:03
detached from their original debt and a
00:17:06
disequilibrium exists where people are
00:17:09
forced to compete for labor in order to
00:17:11
pool enough money out of the money
00:17:13
supply to cover their costs of living
00:17:17
as dysfunctional and backwards as all of
00:17:20
this might seem there is still one thing
00:17:22
we have omitted from this equation
00:17:25
and it is this element of the structure
00:17:27
which reveals the truly fraudulent
00:17:30
nature of the system itself
00:17:33
the application of Interest
00:17:38
when the government borrows money from
00:17:39
the fed or when a person borrows money
00:17:41
from a bank it almost always has to be
00:17:44
paid back with a crude interest
00:17:47
in other words almost every single
00:17:50
dollar that exists must be eventually
00:17:52
returned to a bank with interest paid as
00:17:54
well
00:17:55
but if all money is borrowed from the
00:17:58
central bank and is expanded by
00:18:00
commercial Banks through loans
00:18:03
only what would be referred to as the
00:18:05
principal is being created in the money
00:18:07
supply
00:18:08
so then where is the money to cover all
00:18:11
of the interest that is charged
00:18:14
nowhere
00:18:16
it doesn't exist
00:18:18
the ramifications of this are staggering
00:18:20
for the amount of money owed back to the
00:18:22
banks will always exceed the amount of
00:18:24
money that is available in circulation
00:18:27
this is why inflation is a constant in
00:18:30
the economy for new money is always
00:18:32
needed to help cover the Perpetual
00:18:34
deficit built into the system caused by
00:18:38
the need to pay the interest what this
00:18:40
also means is that mathematically
00:18:42
defaults and bankruptcy are literally
00:18:45
built into the system and there will
00:18:47
always be poor pockets of society that
00:18:50
get the short end of the stick an
00:18:52
analogy would be a game of musical
00:18:54
chairs for once the Music Stops somebody
00:18:56
is left out to dry
00:18:59
and that's the point it invariably
00:19:01
transfers true wealth from the
00:19:03
individual to the banks for if you are
00:19:06
unable to pay for your mortgage they
00:19:08
will take your property this is
00:19:10
particularly enraging when you realize
00:19:12
that not only is such a default
00:19:14
inevitable due to the fractional Reserve
00:19:16
practice but also because of the fact
00:19:19
that the money that the Bank loaned to
00:19:21
you didn't even legally exist in the
00:19:24
first place
00:19:25
in 1969 there was a Minnesota Court case
00:19:28
involving a man named Jerome Daly who
00:19:31
was challenging the Foreclosure of his
00:19:33
home by the bank which provided the loan
00:19:35
to purchase it his argument was that the
00:19:37
mortgage contract required both parties
00:19:39
being he and the bank each put up a
00:19:42
legitimate form of property for the
00:19:44
exchange
00:19:46
in legal language this is called
00:19:48
consideration
00:19:49
[Music]
00:19:53
Mr Daly explained that the money was in
00:19:57
fact not the property of the bank for it
00:19:59
was created out of nothing as soon as
00:20:01
the loan agreement was signed remember
00:20:03
what modern money mechanics stated about
00:20:05
loans what did they do when they make
00:20:07
loans is to accept promissory notes in
00:20:10
exchange for credits reserves are
00:20:12
unchanged by the loan transactions but
00:20:14
deposit credits constitute new additions
00:20:17
to the total deposits of the banking
00:20:19
system in other words the money doesn't
00:20:21
come out of their existing assets the
00:20:24
bank is simply inventing it putting up
00:20:26
nothing of its own except for a
00:20:28
theoretical liability on paper
00:20:31
as the court case progressed the bank's
00:20:33
president Mr Morgan took the stand and
00:20:36
in the judge's personal memorandum he
00:20:38
recalled that the plaintiff thanks
00:20:40
president admitted that in combination
00:20:42
with the Federal Reserve Bank did create
00:20:44
the money and credit upon its books by
00:20:47
bookkeeping entry the money and credit
00:20:49
first came into existence when they
00:20:51
created it Mr Morgan admitted that no
00:20:53
United States law or statute existed
00:20:56
which gave him the right to do this a
00:20:58
lawful consideration must exist and be
00:21:01
tendered to support the known the jury
00:21:03
found that there was no lawful
00:21:04
consideration and I agree he also
00:21:07
poetically added only God can create
00:21:09
something of value out of nothing
00:21:12
and upon this Revelation the court
00:21:14
rejected the bank's claim for
00:21:16
foreclosure and daily kept his home
00:21:19
the implications of this court decision
00:21:21
are immense
00:21:22
for every time you borrow money from a
00:21:25
bank whether it is a mortgage loan or a
00:21:27
credit card charge
00:21:28
the money given to you is not only
00:21:30
counterfeit it is an illegitimate form
00:21:33
of consideration and hence voids the
00:21:36
contract to repay for the bank never had
00:21:38
the money as property to begin with
00:21:41
unfortunately such legal realizations
00:21:44
are suppressed and ignored and the game
00:21:46
of Perpetual wealth transfer and
00:21:48
Perpetual debt continues and this brings
00:21:51
us to the ultimate question
00:21:54
why
00:21:56
during the American Civil War President
00:21:58
Lincoln bypassed the high interest loans
00:22:01
offered by the European Banks and
00:22:04
decided to do what the founding fathers
00:22:06
advocated which was to create an
00:22:08
independent and inherently debt-free
00:22:10
currency it was called the Greenback
00:22:15
shortly after this measure was taken an
00:22:18
internal document circulated between
00:22:20
private British and American banking
00:22:22
interests stated slavery is but the
00:22:25
owning of Labor and carries with it the
00:22:27
care of laborers
00:22:29
while the European plan is that Capital
00:22:32
shall control labor by controlling wages
00:22:35
this can be done by controlling the
00:22:37
money it will not do to allow the
00:22:39
Greenback as we cannot control that
00:22:43
the fractional Reserve policy
00:22:45
perpetrated by the Federal Reserve which
00:22:47
has spread in practice to the great
00:22:50
majority of banks in the world is in
00:22:53
fact a system of modern slavery
00:22:59
think about it money is created out of
00:23:02
debt and what do people do when they are
00:23:05
in debt they submit to employment to pay
00:23:08
it off
00:23:09
but if money can only be created out of
00:23:11
loans how can Society ever be debt free
00:23:15
it can't and that's the point
00:23:18
and it is the fear of losing assets
00:23:21
coupled with the struggle to keep up
00:23:23
with the Perpetual debt and inflation
00:23:25
inherent in the system compounded by the
00:23:28
inescapable scarcity within the money
00:23:30
supply itself created by the interest
00:23:33
that can never be repaid
00:23:36
that keeps the wage slave in line
00:23:39
running on the hamster wheel with
00:23:41
millions of others in effect powering an
00:23:44
Empire that truly benefits only the
00:23:47
elite at the top of the pyramid
00:23:51
for at the end of the day who are you
00:23:54
really working for
00:23:55
the banks
00:23:57
money is created in a bank and
00:23:59
invariably ends up in a bank they are
00:24:02
the true Masters along with the
00:24:04
corporations and governments they
00:24:06
support
00:24:08
physical slavery requires people to be
00:24:10
housed and fed economic slavery requires
00:24:14
people to feed and house themselves
00:24:18
it is one of the most ingenious scams
00:24:20
for social manipulation ever created and
00:24:23
at its core it is an invisible war
00:24:25
against the population
00:24:27
debt is the weapon used to conquer and
00:24:30
enslave societies and interest is its
00:24:34
prime ammunition
00:24:36
and as the majority walks around
00:24:39
oblivious to this reality the banks in
00:24:42
collusion with governments and
00:24:43
corporations continue to perfect and
00:24:46
expand their tactics of economic Warfare
00:24:49
spawning new bases such as the World
00:24:52
Bank and international monetary fund
00:24:55
while also inventing a new type of
00:24:57
soldier
00:24:58
the birth of the economic Hitman
00:25:13
we economic Hitmen really have been the
00:25:16
ones responsible for creating this first
00:25:18
truly Global Empire and we work many
00:25:20
different ways
00:25:26
but perhaps the most common is that we
00:25:28
will identify a country that has
00:25:31
resources our corporations covet like
00:25:33
oil and then arrange a huge loan to that
00:25:36
country from the World Bank or one of
00:25:38
its sister organizations but the money
00:25:40
never actually goes to the country
00:25:42
instead it goes to our big corporations
00:25:44
to build infrastructure projects in that
00:25:46
Country power plants industrial parks
00:25:48
ports things that benefit a few rich
00:25:50
people in that country in addition to
00:25:52
our corporations but really don't have
00:25:54
the majority of the people at all
00:25:56
however those people the whole country
00:25:58
is left holding a huge debt such a big
00:26:01
debt they can't repaid and that's part
00:26:03
of the plan that they can't repay it and
00:26:05
so at some point we can only get men go
00:26:07
back to them and say listen you lost a
00:26:09
lot of money you can't pay your debt so
00:26:10
sell your oil real cheap to oil
00:26:13
companies allow us to build a military
00:26:15
base in your country or send troops in
00:26:18
support of ours to some place in the
00:26:19
world like Iraq or vote with us on the
00:26:22
next U.N vote to have their electric
00:26:25
utility company privatized and their
00:26:27
water and sewage system privatized and
00:26:29
sold to U.S corporations or other
00:26:31
multinational corporations so there was
00:26:34
a whole mushrooming thing and it's so
00:26:36
typical of the way the IMF and the World
00:26:37
Bank worked they put a country in debt
00:26:40
it's such a big data can't pay it and
00:26:43
then you offer to refinance that debt
00:26:45
and and pay even more interest
00:26:47
and you demand this quid pro quo which
00:26:51
you call a conditionality or good
00:26:53
governance
00:26:54
which means basically they've got to
00:26:56
sell off their resources and including
00:26:58
many of their social services their
00:27:00
utility companies their school systems
00:27:02
sometimes their their penal systems
00:27:05
their insurance systems to foreign
00:27:08
corporations so it's a it's a double
00:27:10
triple quadruple Whammy
00:27:15
the president for economic equipment
00:27:17
really began back in the early 50s when
00:27:20
democratically elected Musa deck who was
00:27:22
elected in Iran he was considered to be
00:27:25
the hope for democracy in the Middle
00:27:27
East and around the world he was a Time
00:27:28
magazine's man of the year but one of
00:27:30
the things that he'd run on and began to
00:27:32
implement was the idea that foreign oil
00:27:35
companies needed to pay the Iranian
00:27:37
people a lot more for the oil that they
00:27:38
were taking out of Iran the Iranian
00:27:40
people should benefit from their own oil
00:27:41
strange policy
00:27:44
we didn't like that of course but we
00:27:47
were afraid to do what we normally were
00:27:48
doing which was to send in the military
00:27:50
instead we sent in one CIA agent Kermit
00:27:53
Roosevelt Teddy Roosevelt's relative
00:27:58
and Kermit went in with a few million
00:27:59
dollars and was very very effective and
00:28:01
efficient and in a short amount of time
00:28:03
he managed to get Musa deck overthrown
00:28:07
and brought in the Shah of Iran to
00:28:09
replace him who always was favorable to
00:28:11
oil and it was extremely effective
00:28:17
moms overflow Terran army officers shout
00:28:21
that masadeka surrendered and his regime
00:28:23
as virtual dictator of Iran is ended
00:28:25
pictures of the shaw paraded through the
00:28:27
streets as sediment reverses
00:28:32
the show is welcomed home
00:28:34
so back here in the United States in
00:28:36
Washington people looked around and said
00:28:38
wow that was easy and cheap so this
00:28:41
established a whole new way of
00:28:44
manipulating countries of creating
00:28:46
Empire the only problem with Roosevelt
00:28:49
was that he was a card-carrying CIA
00:28:50
agent and had been caught the
00:28:53
ramifications could have been pretty
00:28:55
serious so very quickly at that point
00:28:57
the decision was made to use private
00:28:59
Consultants to to channel the money
00:29:01
through the World Bank or the IMF or one
00:29:03
of the other such agencies to bring in
00:29:06
people like me who worked for private
00:29:07
companies so that if we got caught there
00:29:11
would be no governmental ramifications
00:29:21
when Urban became president of Guatemala
00:29:24
the country was very much under the
00:29:26
thumbs of United Fruit Company the the
00:29:28
big International corporations and our
00:29:30
events ran on this ticket that says you
00:29:32
know we want to get the land back to the
00:29:34
people and once he took power he was he
00:29:36
was implementing policies that would
00:29:38
that would do exactly that give the land
00:29:40
rights back to the people United Fruit
00:29:43
didn't like that very much and so they
00:29:45
hired a public relations firm launched a
00:29:47
huge campaign in the United States to
00:29:49
convince the United States people the
00:29:51
citizens of the United States and the
00:29:52
Press of the United States and the
00:29:54
Congress of the United States that our
00:29:55
Benz was a Soviet puppet and that if we
00:29:58
allowed him to stay in power the Soviets
00:30:00
would have a foothold in this in this
00:30:02
Hemisphere and that at that point in
00:30:04
time was a huge fear on everybody's mind
00:30:06
the Red Terror or the Communist Terror
00:30:08
and so to make a long story short out of
00:30:12
this public relations campaign came a
00:30:14
commitment on the part of the CIA in the
00:30:16
military to take this man out and in
00:30:18
fact we did we send planes we sent in we
00:30:20
sent in soldiers we said in jackals we
00:30:22
send everything in to take him out and
00:30:24
did take him out and as soon as he was
00:30:27
removed from office the new guy that
00:30:29
took over after him basically reinstated
00:30:31
everything to the big International
00:30:33
corporations including United Fruit
00:30:40
Ecuador for many many years had been
00:30:42
ruled by pro-us dictators often
00:30:45
relatively brutal then it was decided
00:30:48
that they were going to have a truly
00:30:49
democratic election how many rolled oats
00:30:51
ran for office and his main goal is that
00:30:54
as president would be to make sure that
00:30:57
Ecuador's resources were used to help
00:30:59
the people and he won overwhelming by
00:31:03
more votes than anybody that ever won
00:31:04
anything in Ecuador and he began to
00:31:07
implement these policies to make sure
00:31:09
that the profits from oil went to help
00:31:11
the people well we didn't like that in
00:31:14
the United States I was sent down as one
00:31:16
of several economic Hitmen to change
00:31:18
roles to corrupt him to bring him around
00:31:21
to let him know you know okay you know
00:31:24
you can get very rich you and your
00:31:25
family if you if you play our game but
00:31:27
if you just if you continue to try to
00:31:29
keep these policies you've promised
00:31:32
um you you're going to go you wouldn't
00:31:34
listen
00:31:36
he was assassinated
00:31:39
as soon as the plane crashed the whole
00:31:41
area was cordoned off the only people
00:31:44
allowed in the U.S military from from a
00:31:46
nearby base and some of the Ecuadorian
00:31:48
military when an investigation was
00:31:50
launched two of the key Witnesses died
00:31:53
in car accidents before they had a
00:31:55
chance to testify a lot of very very
00:31:58
strange things that weren't on around
00:31:59
the the assassination of high mineral
00:32:01
dose I like most
00:32:04
people who've really looked at this case
00:32:06
had absolutely no doubt that it was an
00:32:08
assassination and of course in my
00:32:10
position as an economic Hitman I was
00:32:12
always expecting something to happen to
00:32:13
Jaime whether it be a coup or
00:32:14
assassination I wasn't sure but that you
00:32:16
would be taken down because he was not
00:32:18
being corrupted he would not allow
00:32:20
himself to be corrupted the way we
00:32:21
wanted to corrupt him
00:32:23
foreign
00:32:28
president of Panama was you know one of
00:32:31
my favorite people I really really liked
00:32:32
him he was very charismatic he was a guy
00:32:34
who really wanted to help his country
00:32:36
and when I tried to bribe him or corrupt
00:32:39
him he said look John he called me
00:32:41
Juanito he said look Juanito
00:32:43
um I don't need the money what I really
00:32:46
need is for my country
00:32:49
treated fairly
00:32:50
I need for the United States to repay
00:32:52
the debts that you owe my people for all
00:32:54
the destruction you've done here I need
00:32:56
to be in a position where I can help
00:32:58
other Latin American countries win their
00:33:00
Independents and and be free of this of
00:33:03
this terrible presence from the north
00:33:05
that you people are exploiting us so
00:33:07
badly I need to have the Panama Canal
00:33:09
back in the hands of the Panamanian
00:33:12
people that's what I want and so leave
00:33:15
me alone don't you know don't try don't
00:33:17
try to bribe me it was 1981 and in May
00:33:21
Jaime roldos was assassinated and Omar
00:33:25
was very aware of this Tori has got his
00:33:28
family together and he said I'm probably
00:33:30
next
00:33:31
but it's okay because I've done what I
00:33:35
came here to do I renegotiated the canal
00:33:37
the canal will now be in our hands he
00:33:39
just finished negotiating the treaty
00:33:41
with Jimmy Carter
00:33:43
[Music]
00:33:46
in June of that same year just a couple
00:33:47
of months later
00:33:49
he also went out in an airplane crash
00:33:51
which there's no question was executed
00:33:54
by CIA sponsored jackals tremendous
00:33:57
amount of evidence that one of the one
00:33:59
of treehouse's security guards handed
00:34:02
him at the last moment as he was getting
00:34:03
on the plane a tape recorder a small
00:34:05
tape recorder that contained a bomb
00:34:10
[Music]
00:34:14
it is interesting to me how this system
00:34:17
has continued pretty much the same way
00:34:19
for years and years and years except the
00:34:21
economic Hitmen have got better and
00:34:23
better and better then we come up with
00:34:25
very recently what happened in Venezuela
00:34:28
in 1998 Hugo Chavez gets elected
00:34:31
president following a long line of
00:34:34
presidents who had been very corrupt and
00:34:36
basically destroyed the economy of the
00:34:38
country and Chavez was elected to Mr all
00:34:40
that Chavez stood up to the United
00:34:43
States
00:34:44
and he's done it primarily demanding
00:34:46
that Venezuelan oil
00:34:48
be used to help the Venezuelan people
00:34:52
well we didn't like that in the United
00:34:54
States so in 2002 the coolest age which
00:34:59
is no question in my mind of most other
00:35:01
people's minds the CIA was behind that
00:35:03
coup
00:35:04
come on
00:35:08
the way that that coup was fomented was
00:35:11
very reflective of what Kermit Roosevelt
00:35:13
had done in Iran of paying people to go
00:35:15
out into the streets to Riot to protest
00:35:18
to say this Chavez is very unpopular
00:35:21
you know if you can get a few thousand
00:35:23
people who do that in television
00:35:26
can make it look like it's a whole
00:35:28
country and things start to mushroom
00:35:31
except in the case of Chavez he was
00:35:34
smart enough and the people were so
00:35:36
strongly behind him that they overcame
00:35:39
it
00:35:40
which was a phenomenal moment in the
00:35:43
history of Latin America
00:35:49
Iraq actually is a perfect example of
00:35:51
the way the whole system works so we
00:35:54
economic Hitmen are the first line of
00:35:56
defense we go in we try to corrupt
00:35:58
governments and get them to accept these
00:36:01
huge loans which we then use as leverage
00:36:03
to basically own them
00:36:04
if we fail as I failed in in Panama with
00:36:08
Omar Tarios and Ecuador with Jaime World
00:36:10
dose men who refuse to be corrupted then
00:36:14
the second line of defense is we send in
00:36:15
the jackals and the jackals either
00:36:17
overthrow governments or they
00:36:18
assassinate and once that happens when a
00:36:21
new government comes in and boy it's
00:36:23
going to toe the line because the new
00:36:25
president knows what will happen if he
00:36:26
doesn't
00:36:27
in the case of Iraq both of those things
00:36:30
failed economic equipment were not able
00:36:32
to get through to Saddam Hussein we
00:36:34
tried very hard we tried to get him to
00:36:36
accept a deal very similar to what the
00:36:37
house of Saud had accepted in Saudi
00:36:40
Arabia but he wouldn't accept it and so
00:36:42
the jackals went in to take him out they
00:36:44
couldn't do it his security was very
00:36:46
good
00:36:47
um after all he had one time worked for
00:36:49
the CRA he'd been hired to assassinate a
00:36:51
former president of of Iraq and failed
00:36:54
but he knew the system
00:36:56
so in 91 we send in the troops and we
00:37:00
take out the Iraqi military so we assume
00:37:03
at that point that Saddam Hussein is
00:37:05
going to come around we could have taken
00:37:07
him out of course at that time but we
00:37:09
didn't want to he's a kind of strong man
00:37:11
we like he controls his people we
00:37:14
thought he could control the Kurds and
00:37:15
keep the Iranians in their border and
00:37:17
keep pumping oil for us and then once we
00:37:19
took out his military now he's going to
00:37:20
come around
00:37:21
so the economic Hitmen go back in in the
00:37:24
90s without success if they'd had
00:37:26
success he'd still be running the
00:37:28
country we'd be selling them all the
00:37:30
fighter jets he wants and everything
00:37:32
else he wants but they couldn't they
00:37:34
they didn't have success the jackals
00:37:36
couldn't take him out again so we sent
00:37:38
the military in once again and this time
00:37:39
we did the complete job and took him out
00:37:41
and in the process created for ourselves
00:37:43
some very very lucrative construction
00:37:46
deals I had to reconstruct a country
00:37:48
that we'd essentially destroyed which is
00:37:50
a pretty good deal if you own
00:37:52
construction companies big ones
00:37:55
so you know Iraq shows the three stages
00:37:58
the economic Hitmen failed there the
00:38:00
jackals failed there and as a final
00:38:02
measure the military goes in
00:38:08
and in that way we've really created an
00:38:10
Empire but we've done it very very
00:38:12
subtly it's clandestine all the empires
00:38:15
of the past were built on the military
00:38:16
and everybody knew they were building
00:38:18
them so the britisher they were building
00:38:20
it the French the Germans the Romans the
00:38:22
Greeks
00:38:24
and they were proud of it and they
00:38:25
always had some excuse like spreading
00:38:27
civilization spreading some religion
00:38:29
something like that but they knew they
00:38:32
were doing it we don't the majority of
00:38:34
the people in the United States have no
00:38:37
idea that we're living off the benefits
00:38:39
of the clandestine Empire that today
00:38:42
there's more slavery in the world than
00:38:44
ever before
00:38:46
[Music]
00:38:47
and then you have to ask yourself well
00:38:49
if this if it's an Empire then who's the
00:38:50
emperor
00:38:52
obviously in our presidents of the
00:38:54
United States are not Emperors and
00:38:56
Emperor is someone who's not elected
00:38:57
doesn't serve a limited term and doesn't
00:39:00
report to anyone essentially so you
00:39:02
can't classify a president's that way
00:39:05
but we do have what I consider to be the
00:39:07
equivalent of the emperor and it's what
00:39:09
I call the corporatocracy
00:39:12
corporatocracy is this group of
00:39:14
individuals who run our biggest
00:39:16
corporations and they really act as the
00:39:18
Emperor of this Empire
00:39:20
they control our media either through
00:39:24
direct ownership or advertising they
00:39:27
control most of our politicians because
00:39:29
they finance their campaigns either
00:39:31
through their corporations or through
00:39:33
personal contributions that come out of
00:39:34
the corporations
00:39:36
they're not elected They don't serve a
00:39:38
limited term they don't report to
00:39:39
anybody and at the very top of the Court
00:39:42
protocracy you really can't tell whether
00:39:44
a person's working for a private
00:39:46
Corporation or the government because
00:39:47
they're always moving back and forth so
00:39:49
you know you've got a guy who one moment
00:39:51
is the president of of a big
00:39:54
construction company like Halliburton in
00:39:56
the next moment he's Vice President of
00:39:57
the United States or the president who
00:39:59
was in the oil business and and this is
00:40:01
true whether you've got Democrats or
00:40:02
Republicans in the office you have to
00:40:04
moving back and forth through the
00:40:06
revolving door and in a way our
00:40:10
government is is invisible a lot of the
00:40:12
time and its policies are carried out by
00:40:14
our corporations on one level or another
00:40:16
and then again the policies of the
00:40:19
government are basically
00:40:21
forged by the corporatocracy and then
00:40:24
presented to the government they become
00:40:25
government policy so it's an incredibly
00:40:27
cozy relationship this isn't a
00:40:31
conspiracy theory type of thing these
00:40:32
people don't have to get together and
00:40:34
and plot to do things they all basically
00:40:36
work under one primary assumption and
00:40:39
that is that they must maximize profits
00:40:42
regardless of the social and
00:40:44
environmental costs
00:40:50
this process of manipulation by the
00:40:53
corporatocracy through the use of debt
00:40:55
bribery and political overthrow is
00:40:58
called globalization
00:41:00
just as the Federal Reserve keeps the
00:41:03
American public in a position of
00:41:05
indentured servitude through Perpetual
00:41:07
debt inflation and interest the World
00:41:10
Bank and IMF serve this role on a global
00:41:12
scale
00:41:13
the basic scam is simple
00:41:15
put a country in debt either by its own
00:41:18
indiscretion or through corrupting the
00:41:19
leader of that country
00:41:21
then impose conditionalities or
00:41:24
structural adjustment policies often
00:41:26
consisting of the following
00:41:29
currency devaluation when the value of a
00:41:32
currency drops so does everything valued
00:41:34
in it this makes indigenous resources
00:41:37
available to Predator countries at a
00:41:39
fraction of their worth
00:41:41
large funding cuts for social programs
00:41:44
these usually include education and
00:41:47
Health Care compromising the well-being
00:41:49
and integrity of the society leaving the
00:41:51
public vulnerable to exploitation
00:41:54
privatization of state-owned Enterprises
00:41:56
this means that socially important
00:41:59
systems can be purchased and regulated
00:42:01
by Foreign corporations for profit for
00:42:04
example in 1999 the World Bank insisted
00:42:08
that the Bolivian government sell the
00:42:10
public water system of its third largest
00:42:12
city to a subsidy of the U.S corporation
00:42:15
Bechtel as soon as this occurred water
00:42:18
bills for the already impoverished local
00:42:20
residents skyrocketed
00:42:22
it wasn't until after a full-blown
00:42:24
Revolt by the people that the Bechtel
00:42:27
contract was nullified
00:42:31
then there's trade liberalization or the
00:42:35
opening up of the economy through
00:42:36
removing any restrictions on foreign
00:42:38
trade this allows for a number of
00:42:41
abusive economic manifestations such as
00:42:43
transnational corporations bringing in
00:42:46
their own mass-produced products
00:42:48
undercutting the indigenous production
00:42:50
and ruining local economies
00:42:52
an example is Jamaica
00:42:55
which after accepting loans and
00:42:57
conditionalities from the World Bank
00:42:58
lost its largest cash crop markets due
00:43:01
to competition with Western Imports
00:43:04
today countless farmers are out of work
00:43:07
for they are unable to compete with the
00:43:09
large corporations
00:43:11
another variation is the creation of
00:43:14
numerous seemingly unnoticed unregulated
00:43:16
inhumane Sweatshop factories which take
00:43:20
advantage of the imposed economic
00:43:23
hardship
00:43:24
additionally due to production
00:43:25
deregulation environmental destruction
00:43:28
is Perpetual as a country's resources
00:43:30
are often exploited by the indifferent
00:43:33
corporations while outputting large
00:43:35
amounts of deliberate pollution
00:43:37
the largest environmental lawsuit in the
00:43:40
history of the world today is being
00:43:42
brought on behalf of thirty thousand
00:43:44
Ecuadorian Amazonian people against
00:43:47
Texaco which is now owned by Chevron so
00:43:50
today it's against Chevron but for
00:43:51
activities conducted by Texaco
00:43:54
they estimated to be more than 18 times
00:43:56
with Exxon Valdez dumped into the coast
00:43:59
of Alaska in the case of Ecuador it
00:44:02
wasn't an accident the oil companies did
00:44:04
it intentionally they knew they were
00:44:06
doing it to save money out there rather
00:44:08
than other than arranging for a proper
00:44:09
disposal
00:44:11
furthermore a cursory glance at the
00:44:14
performance record of the World Bank
00:44:15
reveals that the institution which
00:44:18
publicly claims to help poor countries
00:44:20
develop and alleviate poverty has done
00:44:22
nothing but increase poverty and the
00:44:24
wealth Gap while corporate profits soar
00:44:27
in 1960 the income gap between the fifth
00:44:30
of the world's people in the richest
00:44:32
countries versus the fifth in the
00:44:34
poorest countries was 30 to 1. by 1998
00:44:38
it was 74 to 1.
00:44:41
while Global GNP Rose 40 between 1970
00:44:45
and 1985 those in poverty actually
00:44:48
increased by 17 while from 1985 to 2000
00:44:53
those living on less than one dollar a
00:44:55
day increased by 18 percent
00:45:00
even the joint economic Committee of the
00:45:03
U.S Congress admitted that there is a
00:45:05
mere 40 percent success rate of all
00:45:08
World Bank projects in the late 1960s
00:45:11
the World Bank intervened in Ecuador
00:45:13
with large loans during the next 30
00:45:15
Years poverty grew from 50 to 70 percent
00:45:19
under or unemployment Grew From 15 to 70
00:45:22
percent
00:45:24
public debt increased from 240 million
00:45:27
to 16 billion while the share of
00:45:30
resources allocated to the poor went
00:45:32
from 20 percent to six percent
00:45:35
in fact by the year two thousand fifty
00:45:38
percent of Ecuador's national budget had
00:45:41
to be allocated for paying its debts
00:45:47
it is important to understand the world
00:45:49
bank is in fact a U.S Bank supporting
00:45:52
U.S interests for the United States
00:45:54
holds veto power over decisions as it is
00:45:58
the largest provider of capital
00:46:00
and where did it get this money you
00:46:02
guessed it it made it out of thin air
00:46:04
through the fractional Reserve banking
00:46:06
system
00:46:09
of the world's top 100 economies as
00:46:11
based on annual GDP 51 are corporations
00:46:15
and 47 of that 51 are U.S based
00:46:19
Walmart General Motors and Exxon are
00:46:22
more economically powerful than Saudi
00:46:25
Arabia Poland Norway South Africa
00:46:28
Finland Indonesia and many others
00:46:32
and as protective trade barriers are
00:46:35
broken down currencies tossed together
00:46:37
and manipulated in floating markets and
00:46:40
state economies overturned in favor of
00:46:42
open competition and global capitalism
00:46:45
the Empire expands
00:46:49
you get up on your little 21-inch screen
00:46:54
and howl about America and democracy
00:47:00
there is no America
00:47:02
there is no democracy
00:47:04
there is only IBN and Itt and a t
00:47:10
and Dupont Dao Union Carbide
00:47:14
and Exxon
00:47:16
those are the nations of the world today
00:47:20
what do you think the Russians talk
00:47:21
about in their council's estate Karl
00:47:23
Marx
00:47:24
they get out their linear programming
00:47:26
charts statistical decision theories
00:47:28
Minimax Solutions and compute the price
00:47:30
cost probabilities of their transactions
00:47:32
and investments just like we do
00:47:34
we no longer live in a world of Nations
00:47:36
and ideologies Mr Beale
00:47:39
the world is a
00:47:41
College of Corporations
00:47:44
inexorably determined by the
00:47:47
immutable bylaws of business
00:47:53
the world
00:47:55
is a business Mr Beale
00:48:27
the world is being taken over by a
00:48:30
handful of business Powers who dominate
00:48:32
the natural resources we need to Live
00:48:34
While controlling the money we need to
00:48:36
obtain these resources
00:48:38
the end result will be World Monopoly
00:48:41
based not on human life but financial
00:48:44
and corporate power
00:48:47
and as the inequality grows naturally
00:48:50
more and more people are becoming
00:48:52
desperate
00:48:53
so the establishment was forced to come
00:48:55
up with a new way to deal with anyone
00:48:57
who challenges the system
00:49:00
so they gave birth to the terrorist
00:49:02
the term terrorist is an empty
00:49:05
distinction
00:49:06
designed for any person or group who
00:49:09
chooses to challenge The Establishment
00:49:11
this isn't to be confused with the
00:49:13
fictional Al-Qaeda which was actually
00:49:16
the name of a computer database for the
00:49:18
U.S supported mujahideen in the 1980s
00:49:21
foreign
00:49:26
[Music]
00:49:33
the Department of Defense received
00:49:37
161.8 billion dollars for the so-called
00:49:40
global war on terrorism
00:49:42
according to the National
00:49:44
counter-terrorism Center in 2004 roughly
00:49:47
2 000 people were killed internationally
00:49:49
due to supposed terrorist Acts of that
00:49:53
number 70 were American
00:49:56
using this number as a general average
00:49:58
which is extremely generous
00:50:00
it is interesting to note that twice as
00:50:03
many people die from peanut allergies a
00:50:05
year than from terrorist Acts
00:50:09
concurrently the leading cause of death
00:50:11
in America is coronary heart disease
00:50:14
killing roughly 450 000 each year
00:50:18
and in 2007 the government's allocation
00:50:21
of funds for research on this issue was
00:50:23
about three billion dollars
00:50:25
this means that the U.S government in
00:50:28
2007 spent 54 times the amount for
00:50:32
preventing terrorism than it spent for
00:50:34
preventing a disease which kills
00:50:37
6600 times more people annually than
00:50:41
terrorism does
00:50:45
yet as the name terrorism in Al Qaeda
00:50:48
are arbitrarily stamped on every news
00:50:51
report relating to any action taken
00:50:53
against U.S interests the myth grows
00:50:55
wider in mid-2008 the U.S attorney
00:50:58
general actually proposed that the U.S
00:51:01
Congress officially declare war against
00:51:04
the fantasy
00:51:06
not to mention as of July 2008 there are
00:51:09
now over 1 million people currently on
00:51:12
the U.S terrorist watch list
00:51:16
these so-called counter-terrorism
00:51:18
measures of course have nothing to do
00:51:20
with social protection and everything to
00:51:23
do with preserving The Establishment
00:51:25
amongst the growing anti-American
00:51:28
sentiment both domestically and
00:51:30
internationally
00:51:31
which is legitimately founded on the
00:51:34
greed-based corporate Empire expansion
00:51:36
that is exploiting the world
00:51:40
the true terrorists of our world do not
00:51:43
meet at the Docks at midnight or scream
00:51:45
Allah Akbar before some violent action
00:51:49
the true terrorists of our world where a
00:51:52
five thousand dollar suits and work in
00:51:55
the highest positions of Finance
00:51:56
government and business
00:52:02
so what do we do
00:52:05
how do we stop a system of greed and
00:52:07
Corruption that has so much power and
00:52:09
momentum how do we stop this aberrant
00:52:11
group Behavior which feels no compassion
00:52:14
for say the millions slaughtered in Iraq
00:52:16
and Afghanistan
00:52:18
so the court protocracy can control
00:52:20
energy resources and opium production
00:52:22
for Wall Street profit
00:52:46
all right
00:53:17
how do we stop a system of greed and
00:53:19
Corruption that condemns poor
00:53:21
populations to Sweatshop slavery for the
00:53:23
benefit of Madison Avenue
00:53:25
or that Engineers false flag terror
00:53:28
attacks for the sake of manipulation
00:53:31
or that generates built-in modes of
00:53:33
social operation which are inherently
00:53:36
exploitative
00:53:37
or that systematically reduces civil
00:53:40
liberties and violates human rights in
00:53:43
order to protect itself from its own
00:53:45
shortcomings
00:53:47
how do we deal with the numerous covert
00:53:49
institutions such as the Council on
00:53:51
Foreign Relations the trilateral
00:53:53
commission and the Bilderberg Group and
00:53:55
other undemocratically elected groups
00:53:57
which behind closed doors collude to
00:54:00
control the political Financial social
00:54:03
and environmental elements of Our Lives
00:54:06
in order to find the answer
00:54:09
we must first find the true underlying
00:54:12
cause
00:54:13
for the fact is the selfish corrupt
00:54:16
power and profit-based groups are not
00:54:19
the true source of the problem
00:54:22
they are symptoms
00:54:41
my name is Jacques Fresco
00:54:43
I'm an industrial designer and a social
00:54:47
engineer
00:54:48
I'm very much interested in society
00:54:51
in developing A system that might be
00:54:54
sustainable for all people
00:54:58
first of all the word corruption is a
00:55:00
monetary invention that aberrant
00:55:03
Behavior Behavior that's disruptive to
00:55:06
the well-being of people while you're
00:55:09
dealing with human behavior and human
00:55:12
behavior appears to be environmentally
00:55:15
determined meaning if you were raised by
00:55:18
the seminal Indians as a baby never saw
00:55:22
anything else you'd hold that value
00:55:24
system and this goes for Nations it goes
00:55:28
for individuals for families they try to
00:55:30
indoctrinate their children to their
00:55:33
particular faith and their country and
00:55:36
make them feel like they're part of that
00:55:38
and they build a society which they call
00:55:42
established
00:55:44
they establish a workable point of view
00:55:46
and tend to perpetuate that whereas all
00:55:50
societies are really emergent not
00:55:53
established
00:55:54
and so they fight new ideas that would
00:55:58
interfere with the establishment
00:56:01
governments try to perpetuate that which
00:56:04
keeps them in power
00:56:06
people are not elected to political
00:56:09
office to change things that put there
00:56:12
to keep things the way they are
00:56:14
so you see the basis of corruption is in
00:56:18
our society let me make it clear all
00:56:21
nations then are basically corrupt
00:56:24
because they tend to uphold existing
00:56:27
institutions I don't mean to uphold or
00:56:30
downgrade All Nations but communism
00:56:32
socialism fascism the free enterprise
00:56:35
system and all other subcultures are the
00:56:39
same they are all basically corrupt
00:56:44
the most fundamental characteristic of
00:56:46
our social institutions is the necessity
00:56:49
for self-preservation whether dealing
00:56:52
with a corporation a religion or a
00:56:54
government
00:56:55
the foremost interest is to preserve the
00:56:57
institution itself
00:56:59
for instance the last thing an oil
00:57:00
company would ever want is the
00:57:02
utilization of energy that was outside
00:57:04
of its control for what makes that
00:57:07
company less relevant to society
00:57:10
likewise the Cold War and the collapse
00:57:12
of the Soviet Union was in reality a way
00:57:15
to preserve and perpetuate the
00:57:17
established economic and Global hegemony
00:57:19
of the United States
00:57:21
foreign
00:57:23
ly religions conditioned people to feel
00:57:25
guilty for natural inclinations each
00:57:28
claiming to offer the only path to
00:57:30
forgiveness and salvation
00:57:33
at the heart of this institutional
00:57:34
self-preservation lies the monetary
00:57:37
system for it is money that provides the
00:57:40
means for power and survival
00:57:43
therefore just as a poor person might be
00:57:45
forced to steal in order to survive it
00:57:47
is a natural inclination to do whatever
00:57:49
is needed to continue an institution's
00:57:52
profitability
00:57:53
this makes it inherently difficult for
00:57:55
profit-based institutions to change for
00:57:58
it puts in Jeopardy not only the
00:58:00
survival of large groups of people but
00:58:02
also the coveted materialistic
00:58:04
Lifestyles associated with affluence and
00:58:07
Power
00:58:08
therefore the paralyzing necessity to
00:58:11
preserve an institution regardless of
00:58:13
its social relevance is largely rooted
00:58:15
in the need for money or profit
00:58:19
thank you
00:58:23
what's in it for me is why people think
00:58:27
and so if a man makes money selling a
00:58:30
certain product naturally he's going to
00:58:32
fight the existence of another product
00:58:35
that may threaten his Institution
00:58:39
therefore people cannot be fair
00:58:42
and people do not trust each other a guy
00:58:45
will come over to you and say I got just
00:58:47
the house you're looking for he's a
00:58:49
Salesman one of the doctor says I think
00:58:51
your kidney has to come out I don't know
00:58:54
if he's trying to pay off a yacht
00:58:56
whether my kidney has to come out it's
00:58:59
hard in a monetary system to trust
00:59:01
people
00:59:03
if you came into my store and I said
00:59:05
this lamp that I've got is pretty good
00:59:07
but the lamp is next door is much better
00:59:09
I wouldn't be in business very long it
00:59:12
wouldn't work if I were ethical it
00:59:14
wouldn't work
00:59:16
So when you say industry cares for
00:59:18
people that's not true they can't afford
00:59:21
to be ethical
00:59:23
so your system is not designed to serve
00:59:26
the well-being of people if you still
00:59:29
don't understand that there would be no
00:59:31
Outsourcing of jobs if they cared about
00:59:34
people industry does not care they only
00:59:37
hire people because it hasn't been
00:59:39
automated yet
00:59:41
so I don't talk about decency and ethics
00:59:44
we cannot afford it and remain in
00:59:47
business
00:59:49
it is important to point out that
00:59:51
regardless of the social system whether
00:59:54
fascist socialist capitalist or
00:59:56
communist the underlying mechanism is
00:59:59
still money labor and competition
01:00:03
communist China is no less capitalistic
01:00:05
than the United States the only
01:00:07
difference is the degree by which the
01:00:10
state intervenes in Enterprise
01:00:12
the reality is that monetarism so to
01:00:15
speak is the true mechanism that guides
01:00:18
the interests of all the countries on
01:00:20
the planet
01:00:21
the most aggressive and hence dominant
01:00:23
variation of this monetarism is the free
01:00:26
enterprise system
01:00:28
the fundamental perspective as put forth
01:00:30
by early free market economists like
01:00:32
Adam Smith is that self-interest in
01:00:35
competition leads to social Prosperity
01:00:37
as the act of competition creates
01:00:40
incentive which motivates people to
01:00:42
persevere
01:00:44
however what isn't talked about is how a
01:00:47
competition-based economy invariably
01:00:50
leads to strategic corruption power and
01:00:53
wealth consolidation social
01:00:54
stratification technological paralysis
01:00:57
labor abuse and ultimately a covert form
01:01:02
of government dictatorship by the rich
01:01:04
Elite
01:01:07
the word corruption is often defined as
01:01:10
moral perversion if a company dumps
01:01:12
toxic waste into the ocean to save money
01:01:15
most people recognize this as corrupt
01:01:18
Behavior on a more subtle level
01:01:21
when Walmart moves into a small town and
01:01:24
forces small businesses to shut down for
01:01:26
they are unable to compete a gray area
01:01:29
emerges for what exactly is Walmart
01:01:31
doing wrong
01:01:33
why should they care about Mom and Pop
01:01:34
organizations they destroy
01:01:37
yet even more subtly when a person gets
01:01:40
fired from their job because a new
01:01:42
machine has been created which can do
01:01:44
the work for less money people tend to
01:01:46
just accept that as the way it is not
01:01:50
seeing the inherent corrupt inhumanity
01:01:53
of such an action
01:01:55
because the fact is whether it is
01:01:57
dumping toxic waste having a monopoly
01:02:00
Enterprise or downsizing the workforce
01:02:02
the motive is the same
01:02:04
profit
01:02:06
they are all different degrees of the
01:02:08
same self-preserving mechanism which
01:02:11
always puts the well-being of people
01:02:13
second to monetary gain
01:02:16
therefore corruption is not some
01:02:19
byproduct of monetarism it is the very
01:02:22
Foundation
01:02:24
and while most people acknowledge this
01:02:26
tendency on one level or another the
01:02:28
majority remains naive as to the broad
01:02:31
ramifications of having such a selfish
01:02:34
mechanism as The Guiding mentality in
01:02:37
society internal documents show that
01:02:40
after this company positively absolutely
01:02:42
knew that they had a medication that was
01:02:45
infected with the AIDS virus they took
01:02:47
the product off the market in the U.S
01:02:49
and then they dumped it in France Europe
01:02:50
Asia and Latin America the U.S
01:02:52
government allowed it to happen the FDA
01:02:55
allowed this to happen and now the
01:02:57
government is completely looking the
01:02:59
other way thousands of innocent
01:03:01
hemophiliacs have died from the AIDS
01:03:04
virus this company knew absolutely that
01:03:06
it was infected with AIDS they dumped it
01:03:09
because they wanted to turn This
01:03:10
Disaster into a profit
01:03:14
so you see you have built-in corruption
01:03:18
we're all chiseling off each other and
01:03:21
you can't expect decency and that sort
01:03:24
of thing
01:03:27
and feeling that they don't know who to
01:03:30
elect they think in terms of a democracy
01:03:33
which is not possible in a monetary
01:03:36
based economy if you have more money to
01:03:40
advertise your position the position you
01:03:43
desire in government that is in a
01:03:45
democracy that serves those in positions
01:03:49
of differential Advantage so it's always
01:03:52
a dictatorship of the elitist the
01:03:55
financially wealthy
01:03:57
foreign
01:04:00
[Music]
01:04:04
it is an interesting observation to note
01:04:07
how seemingly unknown personalities
01:04:09
magically appear on the scene as
01:04:11
presidential candidates
01:04:13
then before you know it somehow you are
01:04:15
left to choose from a small group of
01:04:17
extremely wealthy people who
01:04:20
suspiciously have the same Broad Social
01:04:22
View
01:04:24
obviously it's a joke
01:04:26
the people placed on the ballot are done
01:04:28
so because they have been pre-decided to
01:04:30
be acceptable by the established
01:04:32
Financial Powers who actually run the
01:04:34
show
01:04:37
yet many who understand this illusion of
01:04:39
democracy often think if only we could
01:04:42
just get our honest ethical politicians
01:04:45
in power then we would be okay
01:04:48
well while this idea of course seems
01:04:51
reasonable in our established oriented
01:04:53
worldview it is unfortunately another
01:04:57
fallacy
01:04:59
for when it really comes down to what is
01:05:01
actually important the institution of
01:05:04
politics and thus politicians themselves
01:05:06
have absolutely no true relevance as to
01:05:10
what makes our world and Society
01:05:13
function
01:05:14
it's not politicians that can solve
01:05:17
problems they have no technical
01:05:19
capabilities they don't know how to
01:05:22
solve problems even if they were sincere
01:05:25
they don't know how to solve problems
01:05:27
it's a technicians that produce the
01:05:30
desalinization plans it's the
01:05:32
technicians that give you electricity
01:05:34
that give you motor vehicles that heat
01:05:36
your house and cool it the summer time
01:05:39
it's technology that solves problems not
01:05:42
politics politics cannot solve problem
01:05:45
because they're not trained to do so
01:05:49
very few people today stop and consider
01:05:52
what it is that actually improves their
01:05:54
lives
01:05:55
is it money obviously not one cannot eat
01:05:59
money or stuff money into their car to
01:06:01
get it to run
01:06:03
is it politics
01:06:05
all politicians can do is create laws
01:06:07
establish budgets and declare war
01:06:11
is it religion of course not religion
01:06:14
creates nothing except intangible
01:06:16
emotional Solace for those who require
01:06:18
it
01:06:19
the true gift that we as human beings
01:06:22
have which has been solely responsible
01:06:25
for everything that has improved Our
01:06:28
Lives is technology
01:06:31
what is technology technology is a
01:06:34
pencil which allows one to solidify
01:06:36
ideas on paper for communication
01:06:39
technology is an automobile which allows
01:06:41
one to travel faster than feet would
01:06:43
allow
01:06:44
technology is a pair of eyeglasses which
01:06:47
enables sight for those who need it
01:06:49
[Music]
01:06:50
applied technology itself is merely an
01:06:54
extension of human attributes which
01:06:56
reduces human effort freeing humans from
01:06:59
a particular chore or problem
01:07:01
imagine what your life would be like
01:07:03
today without a telephone or an oven or
01:07:07
a computer or an airplane everything in
01:07:10
your home which you take for granted
01:07:12
from a doorbell to a table to a
01:07:15
dishwasher is technology generated from
01:07:18
the creative scientific Ingenuity of
01:07:21
human technicians
01:07:22
not money politics or religion these are
01:07:27
false institutions
01:07:30
and writing your congressman is
01:07:32
fantastic they tend you to write your
01:07:34
Congressman if you want something done
01:07:36
the men in Washington should be at the
01:07:38
Forefront of Technology the Forefront of
01:07:41
human studies the Forefront of crime all
01:07:45
the factors that shape human behavior
01:07:47
you don't have to write your Congressman
01:07:49
what kind of people are they that are
01:07:51
that are appointed to do that job
01:07:53
the future will have great difficulty
01:07:57
and the question that's raised by
01:07:59
politicians is how much will a project
01:08:01
cost
01:08:02
the question is not how much will it
01:08:05
cost do we have the resources
01:08:08
and we have the resources today to house
01:08:11
everyone build hospitals all over the
01:08:14
world build schools all over the world
01:08:17
the finest equipment and labs for
01:08:19
teaching and doing medical research
01:08:22
so you see we have all that but we're in
01:08:26
the monetary system and in the monetary
01:08:28
system there's profit
01:08:31
and what is the fundamental mechanism
01:08:34
that drives the profit system besides
01:08:36
self-interest what is it exactly that
01:08:39
maintains that Competitive Edge at its
01:08:41
core is it high efficiency and
01:08:43
sustainability no that isn't part of
01:08:47
their design nothing produced in our
01:08:49
profit-based society is even remotely
01:08:51
sustainable or efficient if it was there
01:08:54
wouldn't be a multi-million dollar a
01:08:56
year service industry for automobiles
01:08:58
nor would the average lifespan for most
01:09:00
Electronics be less than three months
01:09:02
before they're obsolete
01:09:05
is it abundance
01:09:07
absolutely not abundance as based on the
01:09:10
laws of supply and demand is actually a
01:09:12
negative thing if a diamond company
01:09:15
finds 10 times the usual amount of
01:09:17
diamonds during their mining it means
01:09:19
the supply of diamonds has increased
01:09:21
which means the cost and profit per
01:09:23
Diamond drops
01:09:25
the fact is efficiency sustainability
01:09:28
and abundance are enemies of profit to
01:09:32
put it into a word it is the mechanism
01:09:34
of scarcity that increases profits
01:09:40
what is scarcity based on keeping
01:09:43
products valuable slowing up production
01:09:46
on oil raises the price
01:09:49
maintaining scarcity of diamonds keeps
01:09:51
the price high they burn diamonds at the
01:09:54
Kimberly diamond mines they made a
01:09:56
carbon that keeps the price up so then
01:09:59
what does it mean for society when
01:10:02
scarcity either produced naturally or
01:10:04
through manipulation is a beneficial
01:10:07
condition for industry
01:10:09
[Music]
01:10:10
it means that sustainability and
01:10:13
abundance will never ever occur in a
01:10:16
profit system for it simply goes against
01:10:19
the very nature of the structure
01:10:21
therefore it is impossible to have a
01:10:24
world without war or poverty
01:10:27
it is impossible to continually Advance
01:10:30
technology to its most efficient and
01:10:33
productive States
01:10:34
and most dramatically
01:10:36
it is impossible to expect human beings
01:10:40
to behave in truly ethical or decent
01:10:43
ways
01:10:46
foreign
01:10:50
[Music]
01:10:52
because they can't account for the
01:10:56
behavior
01:10:57
they sit back and they evaluate with
01:11:00
their lack of knowledge you know and
01:11:03
they say things like
01:11:04
humans have built a certain way greed is
01:11:07
a natural thing and so they've worked
01:11:09
for years on it and it's no more natural
01:11:12
than wearing clothing
01:11:14
what we want to do is to eliminate
01:11:17
the causes of the problems eliminate the
01:11:20
processes that that produce greed and
01:11:24
bigotry and Prejudice and people taking
01:11:28
advantage of one another and elitism
01:11:30
eliminating the need for prisons and
01:11:34
Welfare we have always had these
01:11:37
problems because we have always lived
01:11:38
within scarcity and barter and monetary
01:11:42
systems that produce scarcity if you
01:11:46
eradicate the conditions that generate
01:11:49
what you call socially offensive
01:11:51
Behavior it does not exist the guy said
01:11:54
well listen that inborn no it's not
01:11:57
there is no human nature there's human
01:12:00
behavior and that's always been changed
01:12:02
throughout history you're not born with
01:12:05
bigotry and greed and Corruption and
01:12:08
hatred you you pick that up within the
01:12:11
society
01:12:13
War poverty corruption hunger misery
01:12:16
human suffering will not change in the
01:12:19
monetary system that is there'll be very
01:12:22
little significant change it's going to
01:12:24
take the redesign of our culture our
01:12:28
values and it has to be related to the
01:12:31
carrying capacity of the earth not some
01:12:33
human opinion or some politicians
01:12:36
Notions of the way the world ought to be
01:12:39
or some religious Notions of the conduct
01:12:42
of human affairs
01:12:45
and that's what the Venus Project is
01:12:47
about
01:12:49
the society that we're about to talk
01:12:52
about is a society that is free of all
01:12:56
the old superstitions incarceration
01:12:59
prisons police cruelty and law all laws
01:13:04
will disappear and the professions will
01:13:07
disappear that are no longer valid such
01:13:09
as stock Brokers Bankers advertising
01:13:12
gone forever because it's no longer
01:13:16
relevant
01:13:20
when we understand that it is technology
01:13:22
devised by human Ingenuity which frees
01:13:25
humanity and increases our quality of
01:13:27
life we then realize that the most
01:13:30
important Focus we can have is on the
01:13:32
intelligent management of the Earth's
01:13:35
resources for it is from these natural
01:13:37
resources we gain the materials to
01:13:39
continue our path of prosperity
01:13:42
understanding this we then see that
01:13:45
money fundamentally exists as a barrier
01:13:47
to these resources for virtually
01:13:49
everything has a financial cost
01:13:52
and why do we need money to obtain these
01:13:54
resources because of real or assumed
01:13:57
scarcity
01:14:00
we don't usually pay for air and tap
01:14:03
water because it is in such high
01:14:04
abundance selling it would be pointless
01:14:08
so then logically speaking if resources
01:14:11
and Technologies applicable to creating
01:14:13
everything in our societies such as
01:14:15
houses cities and transportation
01:14:18
we're in high enough abundance there
01:14:20
would be no reason to sell anything
01:14:23
likewise if Automation and Machinery was
01:14:27
so technologically advanced as to
01:14:29
relieve human beings of Labor there
01:14:31
would be no reason to have a job
01:14:33
and with these social aspects taken care
01:14:35
of there would be no reason to have
01:14:37
money at all
01:14:40
so the ultimate question remains
01:14:42
do we on earth have enough resources and
01:14:46
technological understanding to create a
01:14:48
society of such abundance that
01:14:50
everything we have now could be
01:14:52
available without a price tag and
01:14:54
without the need for submission through
01:14:56
employment
01:14:58
yes we do
01:15:01
we have the resources and Technology to
01:15:03
enable this at a minimum along with the
01:15:06
ability to raise the standard of living
01:15:08
so high that people in the future will
01:15:10
look back at our Civilization now and
01:15:13
gawk at how primitive and immature our
01:15:16
society was
01:15:18
what the Venus Project proposes is an
01:15:21
entirely different system that's updated
01:15:24
to present-day knowledge we've never
01:15:27
given scientists the problem of how do
01:15:30
you design a society which would
01:15:31
eliminate boring and monotonous jobs
01:15:33
that would eliminate accidents in
01:15:37
transportation that would enable people
01:15:39
to have a high standard of living that
01:15:42
would eliminate poisons in our food that
01:15:45
would give us other sources of energy
01:15:47
that are clean and efficient we can do
01:15:49
that out there
01:15:55
the major difference between a
01:15:58
resource-based economy and a monetary
01:16:00
system is that a resource-based economy
01:16:02
is really concerned with people and
01:16:04
their well-being we're a monetary system
01:16:07
has become so distorted that the
01:16:09
concerns of the people are really
01:16:11
secondary if they're there at all the
01:16:14
products that are turned out are for how
01:16:16
much money you can get if there is a
01:16:19
problem in society and you can't earn
01:16:21
money from solving that problem then it
01:16:23
won't be done
01:16:24
the resource-based economy is really not
01:16:27
close to anything that's been tried and
01:16:29
with all our technology today we can
01:16:31
create abundance it could be used to
01:16:33
improve everyone's lifestyle abundance
01:16:36
all over the world if we use our
01:16:37
technology wisely and maintain the
01:16:39
environment it's a very different system
01:16:42
and it's very hard to talk about because
01:16:45
the public is not that well enough
01:16:47
informed as to the state of Technology
01:16:54
myself
01:16:55
at present we don't have to burn fossil
01:16:58
fuels we don't have to use anything that
01:17:01
would contaminate the environment there
01:17:04
are many sources of energy available
01:17:07
Alternative Energy Solutions pushed by
01:17:10
The Establishment such as hydrogen
01:17:12
biomass and even nuclear are highly
01:17:15
insufficient dangerous and exist only to
01:17:17
perpetuate The Profit structure that
01:17:19
industry has created
01:17:21
when we look beyond the propaganda and
01:17:23
self-serving Solutions put forth by the
01:17:26
energy companies we find a seemingly
01:17:28
endless stream of clean abundant and
01:17:31
renewable energy for generating power
01:17:34
solar and wind energy are well known to
01:17:36
the public but the true potential of
01:17:38
these mediums remains unexpressed
01:17:41
solar energy derived from the sun has
01:17:43
such abundance that one hour of light at
01:17:46
High Noon contains more energy than what
01:17:49
the entire world consumes in a year if
01:17:52
we could Capture One Hundredth of a
01:17:54
percent of this energy the world would
01:17:56
never have to use oil gas or anything
01:17:59
else the question then is not availability
01:18:01
but the technology to harness it and
01:18:05
there are many Advanced mediums today
01:18:06
which could accomplish just that if they
01:18:09
were not hindered by the need to compete
01:18:12
for market share with the established
01:18:14
Energy power structures
01:18:16
then there's wind energy wind energy has
01:18:19
long been denounced as weak and due to
01:18:21
being location driven impractical this
01:18:25
is simply not true the U.S department of
01:18:27
energy admitted in 2007 that if wind was
01:18:31
fully harvested in just three of
01:18:33
America's 50 states it could power the
01:18:36
entire nation
01:18:38
and then there are the rather unknown
01:18:40
mediums of title and wave power
01:18:43
tidal power is derived from title shifts
01:18:46
in the ocean installing turbines which
01:18:48
capture this movement generates energy
01:18:51
in the United Kingdom 42 sites are
01:18:53
currently noted as available forecasting
01:18:55
that 34 percent of all the UK's energy
01:18:58
could come from tidal power alone
01:19:02
wave power which extracts energy from
01:19:05
the surface motions of the ocean is
01:19:07
estimated to have a global potential of
01:19:10
up to 80 000 terawatt hours a year
01:19:13
this means 50 of the entire planet's
01:19:16
energy usage could be produced from this
01:19:19
medium alone
01:19:21
now it is important to point out that
01:19:23
Title Wave solar and wind power requires
01:19:27
virtually no preliminary energy to
01:19:29
harness unlike coal oil gas biomass
01:19:33
hydrogen and all the others in
01:19:36
combination these four mediums alone if
01:19:38
efficiently harnessed through technology
01:19:40
could power the world forever
01:19:43
that being said there happens to be
01:19:46
another form of clean renewable energy
01:19:48
which trumps them all
01:19:50
geothermal power
01:19:53
geothermal energy utilizes what is
01:19:55
called heat mining which through a
01:19:57
simple process using water is able to
01:19:59
generate massive amounts of clean energy
01:20:02
in 2006 an MIT report on geothermal
01:20:05
energy found that 13 000 Zeta joules of
01:20:09
Power are currently available in the
01:20:10
Earth with the possibility of two
01:20:12
thousand Zeta joules being easily
01:20:14
tappable with improved technology
01:20:17
the total energy consumption of all the
01:20:19
countries on the planet is about half of
01:20:22
a Zeta Julie year this means about 4 000
01:20:25
years of planetary power could be
01:20:27
harnessed in this medium alone
01:20:30
and when we understand that the Earth's
01:20:32
heat generation is constantly renewed
01:20:34
this energy is really Limitless and
01:20:36
could be used forever
01:20:39
these energy sources are only a few of
01:20:42
the clean renewable mediums available
01:20:43
and as time goes on we will find more
01:20:46
the grand realization is that we have
01:20:49
total energy abundance without the need
01:20:52
for pollution traditional conservation
01:20:54
or in fact a a price tag
01:20:59
and what about transportation
01:21:02
the prevailing means of transportation
01:21:04
in our societies is by automobile and
01:21:06
aircraft both of which predominantly
01:21:08
need fossil fuels to run
01:21:11
in the case of the automobile The
01:21:13
Battery Technology needed to power an
01:21:15
electric car that can go over 100 miles
01:21:17
an hour for over 200 miles on one charge
01:21:19
exists and has existed for many years
01:21:22
however due to battery patents
01:21:25
controlled by the oil industry which
01:21:26
limits their availability to maintain
01:21:28
market share coupled with political
01:21:30
pressure from the energy industry the
01:21:32
accessibility and affordability of this
01:21:34
technology is limited there is
01:21:37
absolutely no reason other than pure
01:21:39
corrupt profit interest that every
01:21:41
single vehicle in the world cannot be
01:21:43
electric and utterly clean with zero
01:21:46
need for gasoline
01:21:48
as far as airplanes it is time we
01:21:50
realize that this means of travel is
01:21:52
inefficient cumbersome slow and causes
01:21:55
far too much pollution
01:21:57
this is a maglev train it uses magnets
01:22:01
for propulsion it is fully suspended by
01:22:04
a magnetic field and requires less than
01:22:06
two percent of the energy used for plane
01:22:09
travel
01:22:10
the train has no wheels so nothing can
01:22:12
wear out
01:22:13
the current maximum speed of versions of
01:22:15
this technology as used in Japan is 361
01:22:19
miles per hour
01:22:21
however this version of the technology
01:22:23
is very dated
01:22:25
an organization called et3 which has
01:22:28
connections with the Venus Project has
01:22:30
established a tube-based maglev that can
01:22:33
travel up to 4 000 miles per hour in a
01:22:36
motionless frictionless tube which can
01:22:39
go over land or underwater
01:22:41
imagine going from LA to New York for an
01:22:44
extended lunch break or from Washington
01:22:46
DC to Beijing China in two hours
01:22:50
this is the future of continental and
01:22:52
InterContinental travel fast clean with
01:22:56
only a fraction of the energy usage we
01:22:58
use today for the same means
01:23:01
in fact between maglev technology
01:23:03
advanced battery storage and geothermal
01:23:06
energy there would be no reason to ever
01:23:09
burn fossil fuels again
01:23:11
and we can do this now if we were not
01:23:13
held back by the paralyzing profit
01:23:15
structure
01:23:20
now America is inclined towards fascism
01:23:23
it has a propensity by its dominant
01:23:27
philosophy and religion to uphold the
01:23:30
fastest point of view American Ministry
01:23:32
has essentially a fascist institution if
01:23:36
you don't understand that the minute you
01:23:38
punch that time clock you walk into a
01:23:40
dictatorship we're given Notions about
01:23:43
the respectability of work and I really
01:23:48
look at it as being paid slavery
01:23:50
they brought up to believe that you
01:23:52
shall earn your living by the sweat of
01:23:54
your brow that holds people back
01:23:58
freeing people
01:23:59
from drudgery repetitive jobs which make
01:24:02
them ignorant you rob them
01:24:05
you know our society that is a
01:24:08
resource-based economy machines free
01:24:11
people you see we can't imagine that as
01:24:14
we've never known that kind of world
01:24:17
thank you
01:24:21
if we look back at history we see a very
01:24:24
clear pattern of machine automation
01:24:26
slowly replacing human labor
01:24:29
from The Disappearance of the elevator
01:24:30
man to the near full automation of an
01:24:33
automobile production plant the fact is
01:24:36
as technology grows the need for humans
01:24:39
in the workforce will continually be
01:24:41
diminished
01:24:42
this creates a serious Clash which
01:24:45
proves the falseness of the
01:24:47
monetary-based labor system
01:24:50
for human employment is in direct
01:24:52
competition with technological
01:24:54
development
01:24:56
therefore given the fundamental priority
01:24:58
of profit by industry people through
01:25:01
time will be continually laid off and
01:25:03
replaced by Machine when industry takes
01:25:07
on the machine instead of shortening the
01:25:09
workday they downsize you lose your job
01:25:12
so you have a right to fear machines
01:25:15
in a high technology resource-based
01:25:18
economy it is conservative to say that
01:25:20
about 90 percent of all current
01:25:22
occupations could be phased out by
01:25:25
machines freeing humans to live their
01:25:27
life without servitude for this is the
01:25:30
point of Technology itself
01:25:33
and Through Time with nanotechnology and
01:25:36
other highly Advanced forms of science
01:25:37
it is not far-fetched to see how even
01:25:40
complex medical procedures could be
01:25:43
performed by machines as well
01:25:45
and based on the pattern with much
01:25:48
higher success rates than humans get
01:25:50
today
01:25:51
the path is clear but our monetary based
01:25:54
structure which requires labor for
01:25:56
income blocks this progress for humans
01:26:00
need jobs in order to survive
01:26:03
the bottom line is that this system must
01:26:05
go or we will never be free and
01:26:08
Technology will be constantly paralyzed
01:26:11
we have machines that clean out sewers
01:26:14
it frees a human being from doing that
01:26:17
so look at machines as extensions of
01:26:20
human performance
01:26:23
furthermore many occupations today will
01:26:26
have simply no basis to exist in a
01:26:29
resource-based economy such as anything
01:26:31
associated with the management of money
01:26:34
advertising along with the legal system
01:26:36
itself
01:26:37
for without money a great majority of
01:26:40
the crimes that are committed today
01:26:42
would never occur virtually all forms of
01:26:45
crime are a consequence of the monetary
01:26:47
system either directly or by neuroses
01:26:50
inflicted through financial deprivation
01:26:54
therefore laws themselves could
01:26:56
eventually become extinct
01:26:58
instead of putting up a sign drive
01:27:01
carefully Slippery When Wet put abrasive
01:27:04
in the highway so it's not slippery but
01:27:06
wet and if a person gets into contact
01:27:08
drunk and a car oscillates a great deal
01:27:11
there's a little pendulum that swings up
01:27:13
and back and that'll pull the car over
01:27:15
the side not a law
01:27:18
solution put sonar and radar and
01:27:20
Automobiles so they can't hit one
01:27:22
another man-made laws are attempts to
01:27:26
deal with occurring problems and not
01:27:28
knowing how to solve them they make a
01:27:31
law in the United States the most
01:27:34
privatized capitalist country on the
01:27:36
planet it should come as no surprise
01:27:38
that it also has the largest prison
01:27:41
population in the world
01:27:42
growing every year
01:27:45
statistically most of these people are
01:27:47
uneducated and come from poor deprived
01:27:50
societies
01:27:51
and contrary to propaganda it is this
01:27:54
environmental conditioning which lures
01:27:56
them into criminal and violent Behavior
01:27:59
however society looks the other way in
01:28:02
regard to this point
01:28:04
the legal and prison systems are just
01:28:06
more examples of how our society avoids
01:28:09
examining the root causes of behavior
01:28:13
billions are spent each year on prisons
01:28:15
and police while only a fraction is
01:28:18
spent on programs for poverty which is
01:28:21
one of the most fundamental variables
01:28:23
responsible for Crime to begin with and
01:28:26
as long as we have an economic system
01:28:28
which prefers and in fact creates
01:28:30
scarcity and deprivation crime will
01:28:34
never go away
01:28:40
if people have access to the necessities
01:28:44
of life without servitude debt barter
01:28:48
trade
01:28:50
they behave very differently you want
01:28:53
all these things available without a
01:28:56
price tag now then
01:28:58
you've got to have a price tag well what
01:29:00
will motivate people uh man gets
01:29:03
everything he wants he just lay around
01:29:05
in the sun this is the myths they
01:29:08
perpetuate people in our culture are
01:29:10
trained to believe that the monetary
01:29:13
system produces incentive if they have
01:29:16
access to things why should they want to
01:29:17
do anything they will lose their
01:29:20
incentive that's what you're taught to
01:29:22
support the monetary system when you
01:29:24
take money out of the scenario
01:29:27
there would be different and incentives
01:29:30
very different incentives when people
01:29:32
have access to the necessities of life
01:29:34
their incentives change what about the
01:29:37
moon and the stars
01:29:39
new incentives arise if you make a
01:29:42
painting that you enjoy you will enjoy
01:29:44
giving it to other people not selling it
01:29:51
I think most of the education that I've
01:29:53
seen today is essentially producing a
01:29:57
person for a job it's very specialized
01:29:59
they're not generalists people don't
01:30:02
know a lot about a lot of different
01:30:03
subjects I I don't think you could get
01:30:05
people to go to war if if they knew a
01:30:08
lot about a lot of things I think
01:30:10
education is mostly Road
01:30:13
and they're not taught how to solve
01:30:16
problems they're not given the tools
01:30:18
emotionally or within their own field of
01:30:21
how to do critical thinking a
01:30:24
resource-based economy the education
01:30:25
would be very different our society's
01:30:27
major concern as mental development and
01:30:31
to motivate each person to their Highest
01:30:35
Potential because our philosophy is the
01:30:38
smarter people are the Richer the world
01:30:39
because everybody becomes a contributor
01:30:42
the smarter your kids are the better my
01:30:46
life will be because they'll be
01:30:47
contributing more constructively to the
01:30:49
to the environment and to my life
01:30:52
because everything that we devise within
01:30:54
a resource-based economy would be
01:30:57
applied to society there would be
01:30:58
nothing to hold it back
01:31:04
patriotism
01:31:05
weapons armies navies all as a sign that
01:31:10
we're not civilized yet kids will ask
01:31:13
their parents didn't you see the
01:31:16
necessity of machines dad couldn't you
01:31:19
see that war was inevitable when you
01:31:22
produce scarcity
01:31:23
isn't it obvious of course the kid will
01:31:26
understand that you were pinheads raised
01:31:29
merely to serve the established
01:31:31
institutions was such an abominable sick
01:31:34
society that we won't make the history
01:31:37
book they just say that large Nations
01:31:39
took lands with smaller Nations use
01:31:42
force and violence you'll get history
01:31:44
talked about as corrupt Behavior All the
01:31:47
Way along until the beginning of the
01:31:49
Civilized world that's when all the
01:31:51
nations work together
01:31:53
World unification working toward common
01:31:56
good for all human beings and without
01:32:00
anyone being subservient to anyone else
01:32:04
without social stratification whether it
01:32:07
be technical elitism or any other kind
01:32:09
of elitism eradicated from the face of
01:32:12
the Earth the state does nothing because
01:32:15
there is no State because there is no
01:32:19
state
01:32:22
the system I advocate a resource-based
01:32:25
global economy is not perfect it's just
01:32:28
a lot better than what we have we can
01:32:31
never achieve perfection
01:32:48
thank you
01:32:50
the social values of our society which
01:32:53
has manifested In Perpetual Warfare
01:32:55
corruption oppressive laws social
01:32:58
stratification irrelevant superstitions
01:33:01
environmental destruction and a despotic
01:33:03
socially indifferent profit-oriented
01:33:06
ruling class
01:33:08
is fundamentally the result of a
01:33:10
collective ignorance of two of the most
01:33:12
basic insights humans can have about
01:33:15
reality
01:33:16
the emergent and symbiotic aspects of
01:33:19
natural law
01:33:21
the emergent nature of reality is that
01:33:24
all systems whether it is knowledge
01:33:26
Society technology philosophy or any
01:33:30
other creation will when uninhibited
01:33:33
undergo fluid Perpetual change
01:33:36
what we consider commonplace today such
01:33:39
as modern communication and
01:33:41
transportation would have been
01:33:43
unimaginable in ancient times
01:33:45
likewise the future will contain
01:33:48
Technologies realizations and social
01:33:50
structures that we cannot even fathom in
01:33:53
the present we have gone from Alchemy to
01:33:56
chemistry
01:33:57
from a geocentric Universe to a
01:33:59
heliocentric from believing that demons
01:34:02
were the cause of illness to modern
01:34:04
medicine
01:34:06
this development shows no sign of ending
01:34:08
and it is this awareness that aligns us
01:34:11
and leads us on a continuous path to
01:34:14
growth and progress
01:34:16
static empirical knowledge does not
01:34:19
exist rather it is the Insight of the
01:34:22
emergence of all systems we must
01:34:24
recognize
01:34:26
this means we must be open to new
01:34:28
information at all times Even If it
01:34:31
threatens our current belief system and
01:34:33
hence identities
01:34:35
sadly society today has failed to
01:34:38
recognize this and the established
01:34:40
institutions continue to paralyze growth
01:34:43
by preserving outdated social structures
01:34:46
simultaneously the population suffers
01:34:49
from a fear of change for their
01:34:51
conditioning assumes a static identity
01:34:53
in challenging one's belief system
01:34:55
usually results in insult and
01:34:58
apprehension
01:34:59
for being wrong is erroneously
01:35:01
associated with failure
01:35:05
when in fact to be proven wrong should
01:35:07
be celebrated for it is elevating
01:35:10
someone to a new level of understanding
01:35:12
furthering awareness
01:35:15
the fact is there is no such thing as a
01:35:18
smart human being for it is merely a
01:35:21
matter of time before their ideas are
01:35:22
updated changed or eradicated
01:35:26
and this tendency to blindly hold on to
01:35:29
a belief system Sheltering it from New
01:35:31
possibly transforming information is
01:35:34
nothing less than a form of intellectual
01:35:37
materialism
01:35:39
the monetary system perpetuates this
01:35:42
materialism not only by its
01:35:43
self-preserving structures but also
01:35:46
through the countless number of people
01:35:47
who have been conditioned into blindly
01:35:50
and thoughtlessly upholding these
01:35:51
structures therefore becoming
01:35:54
self-appointed Guardians of the status
01:35:56
quo
01:35:57
sheep which no longer need a sheepdog to
01:36:01
control them for they control each other
01:36:03
by ostracizing those who step out of the
01:36:06
norm
01:36:07
this tendency to resist change and
01:36:09
uphold existing institutions for the
01:36:11
sake of identity Comfort power and
01:36:14
profit is completely unsustainable and
01:36:18
will only produce further imbalance
01:36:20
fragmentation Distortion and invariably
01:36:23
destruction
01:36:24
[Music]
01:36:27
it's time to change
01:36:30
from hunters and gatherers to the
01:36:32
Agricultural Revolution to the
01:36:34
Industrial Revolution the pattern is
01:36:36
clear it is time for a new social system
01:36:39
which reflects the understandings we
01:36:42
have today
01:36:44
the monetary system is a product of a
01:36:46
period of time where scarcity was a
01:36:48
reality
01:36:49
now with the age of Technology it is no
01:36:51
longer relevant to society
01:36:54
gone with the aberrant Behavior it
01:36:56
manifests
01:36:58
likewise dominant World Views such as
01:37:01
theistic religion operate with the same
01:37:04
social irrelevancy
01:37:06
Islam Christianity Judaism Hinduism and
01:37:10
all of the others exist as barriers to
01:37:13
personal and social growth
01:37:15
for each group perpetuates a closed
01:37:18
worldview and this finite understanding
01:37:21
that they acknowledge is simply not
01:37:23
possible in an emergent universe
01:37:27
[Music]
01:37:29
yet religion has succeeded in shutting
01:37:31
down the awareness of this emergence by
01:37:34
instilling the psychological Distortion
01:37:36
of faith upon its followers where logic
01:37:39
and new information is rejected in favor
01:37:42
of traditionalized outdated beliefs
01:37:45
the concept of God
01:37:48
is really a method of accounting for the
01:37:51
nature of things in the early days
01:37:53
people didn't know enough about how
01:37:55
things formed how nature worked so they
01:37:59
invented their own little stories
01:38:01
and they made God
01:38:03
in their own image
01:38:06
a guy that gets angry
01:38:08
when people don't behave right he
01:38:10
creates floods and earthquakes
01:38:13
they say it's an act of God
01:38:16
a cursory glance at the suppressed
01:38:18
history of religion reveals that even
01:38:20
the foundational myths themselves are
01:38:23
emergent culminations developed through
01:38:25
influence over time for example a
01:38:28
cardinal doctrine of the Christian faith
01:38:30
is the death and resurrection of Christ
01:38:32
this notion is so important that the
01:38:35
Bible itself States and if Christ be not
01:38:38
risen then is our preaching vein and
01:38:40
your faith is also vain
01:38:44
yet it is very difficult to take this
01:38:46
account literally for not only is there
01:38:49
no primary source denoting the
01:38:50
supernatural event in secular history
01:38:53
awareness of the enormous number of
01:38:55
pre-christian Saviors who also died and
01:38:58
were resurrected immediately puts the
01:39:00
story in mythological territory by
01:39:03
association
01:39:04
early church figures such as tertullian
01:39:07
went to Great Lengths to break these
01:39:09
associations even claiming that the
01:39:11
devil caused the similarities to occur
01:39:14
stating in the second century the devil
01:39:17
whose business is to pervert the truth
01:39:19
mimics the exact circumstance of the
01:39:21
Divine sacraments he baptizes his
01:39:24
Believers and Promises forgiveness of
01:39:26
sins he celebrates the ablation of bread
01:39:28
and brings in the symbol of the
01:39:30
Resurrection
01:39:31
let us therefore acknowledge the
01:39:33
craftiness of the devil who copied
01:39:36
certain things of those that be divine
01:39:39
what is truly sad however is that when
01:39:42
we cease the idea that the stories from
01:39:44
Christianity Judaism Islam and all the
01:39:47
others are literal history
01:39:50
and accept them for what they really are
01:39:52
which are purely allegorical Expressions
01:39:54
derived from many faiths
01:39:57
we see that all religions share a common
01:39:59
thread
01:40:01
and it is this unifying imperative that
01:40:03
needs to be recognized and appreciated
01:40:08
religious belief has caused more
01:40:10
fragmentation and conflict than any
01:40:12
other ideology
01:40:14
Christianity alone has 34 000 different
01:40:17
subgroups
01:40:20
the Bible is subject to interpretation
01:40:22
when you read it you say I Think Jesus
01:40:26
meant this I think job meant that oh no
01:40:29
he meant this so you have to lose in The
01:40:32
Seventh-Day Adventist the Catholic and a
01:40:35
church divises is no church at all
01:40:38
and a church divided there's no church
01:40:41
at all
01:40:45
and this point on division which is a
01:40:48
trademark of all theistic religions
01:40:50
brings us to our second failure of
01:40:53
awareness the false Assumption of
01:40:55
Separation through the rejection of the
01:40:58
symbiotic relationship of life
01:41:01
apart from the understanding that all
01:41:04
natural systems are emergent where all
01:41:06
Notions of reality will be constantly
01:41:08
developed altered and even eradicated
01:41:11
we must also understand that all systems
01:41:14
are in fact invented fragments merely
01:41:18
for the sake of conversation for there
01:41:20
is no such thing as Independence in
01:41:23
nature
01:41:24
the whole of nature is a unified system
01:41:26
of interdependent variables each a cause
01:41:30
and a reaction existing only as a
01:41:33
concentrated whole
01:41:35
you don't see the plug connected to the
01:41:38
environment so it looks like we're free
01:41:41
wandering around take the auction away
01:41:43
we all die immediately take plant life
01:41:46
away we die and without the sun all the
01:41:49
plants die so we are connected we really
01:41:53
must take into account the totality this
01:41:55
isn't just a Human Experience on this
01:41:57
planet this is a total experience and we
01:41:59
know we can't survive without plants and
01:42:01
animals we know we can't survive without
01:42:03
the four elements you know and so when
01:42:05
are we going to really start taking that
01:42:07
into account that's what it is to be
01:42:09
successful success depends on how well
01:42:12
we relate to everything around us
01:42:15
I'm very aware of the fact that my
01:42:17
grandson cannot possibly hope to inherit
01:42:20
a sustainable peaceful stable socially
01:42:23
just World unless every child today
01:42:25
growing up in Ethiopia in Indonesia in
01:42:29
Bolivia and Palestine and Israel also
01:42:31
has that same expectation
01:42:34
you got to take care of the whole
01:42:35
Community or you're going to have
01:42:37
serious problems and now we have to see
01:42:40
that the whole world is the community
01:42:42
and we must all take care of each other
01:42:45
that way and it's not just a community
01:42:47
of human beings it's a community of
01:42:49
plants and animals and elements and we
01:42:51
really need to understand that that's
01:42:54
what's going to bring us joy to and
01:42:56
pleasure that's what's missing in our
01:42:58
lives right now we can call it
01:42:59
spirituality but the fact of the matter
01:43:01
is Joy comes from that Bliss of
01:43:05
connectedness that's our God Spirit
01:43:07
that's that side of ourselves that
01:43:10
really feels it and you can feel it deep
01:43:12
inside you it's this amazing wonderful
01:43:14
feeling and you know it when you get it
01:43:16
you don't get it from money
01:43:18
get it from connection
01:43:21
now if that isn't a hazard to this
01:43:24
country
01:43:27
nuclear weapons you know
01:43:30
what's going to happen to the arms
01:43:32
industry when we realize we're all one
01:43:35
it's gonna [ __ ] up the economy
01:43:40
anyway
01:43:42
economy that's fake anyway the economy
01:43:45
that's fake anyway the economy that's
01:43:47
fake anyway which would be a real bummer
01:43:51
and see why the government's cracking
01:43:53
down
01:43:56
on the idea of experiencing
01:43:58
unconditional love
01:44:10
once we understand that the Integrity of
01:44:13
our personal existences are completely
01:44:15
dependent on the Integrity of everything
01:44:18
else in our world we have truly
01:44:21
understood the meaning of unconditional
01:44:23
love
01:44:24
for love is extensionality and seeing
01:44:27
everything is you and you as everything
01:44:30
can have no conditionalities four in
01:44:33
fact we are all Everything at Once if
01:44:36
it's true that we're all from the center
01:44:38
of a star every atom and each of us from
01:44:40
the center of a star then we're all the
01:44:42
same thing even a Coke machine or a
01:44:44
cigarette butt in the Street in Buffalo
01:44:45
is made out of atoms that came from a
01:44:47
star they've all been recycled thousands
01:44:49
of times as have you and I and therefore
01:44:52
it's only me out there so what is there
01:44:55
to be afraid of what is there that needs
01:44:57
Solace seeking nothing there's nothing
01:44:59
to be afraid of because it's all us the
01:45:02
trouble is we have been separated by
01:45:04
being born and given a name and an
01:45:05
identity and being individuated we've
01:45:07
been separated from the Oneness and
01:45:09
that's what religion exploits that
01:45:10
people have this yearning to be part of
01:45:12
the overall one again so they exploit
01:45:15
that they call it God they say he has
01:45:16
rules and I think it's cruel I think you
01:45:19
can do it absent religion
01:45:24
foreign
01:45:57
[Music]
01:46:09
it's time to claim the unity our
01:46:11
outmoded social systems have broken
01:46:13
apart and worked together to create a
01:46:17
sustainable Global Society where
01:46:19
everyone is taken care of and everyone
01:46:21
is truly free
01:46:23
your personal beliefs whatever they may
01:46:25
be are meaningless when it comes to the
01:46:28
necessities of life every human being is
01:46:30
born naked needing warmth Food Water
01:46:34
Shelter everything else is auxiliary
01:46:37
therefore the most important issue at
01:46:39
hand is the intelligent management of
01:46:42
the Earth's resources
01:46:43
this can never be accomplished in a
01:46:45
monetary system for the pursuit of
01:46:47
profit is the pursuit of self-interest
01:46:49
and therefore imbalance is inherent
01:46:53
simultaneously politicians are useless
01:46:56
for our true problems in life are
01:46:59
technical not political
01:47:01
furthermore ideologies that separate
01:47:04
Humanity such as religion need strong
01:47:06
reflection in the community in regard to
01:47:09
its value purpose and social relevancy
01:47:12
hopefully Through Time religion will
01:47:15
lose its materialism and basis in
01:47:17
Superstition and move into the useful
01:47:19
field of philosophy
01:47:21
the fact is society today is backwards
01:47:24
with politicians constantly talking
01:47:26
about protection and security rather
01:47:29
than creation unity and progress
01:47:32
the U.S alone now spends about 500
01:47:35
billion dollars annually on defense that
01:47:38
is enough to send every High School
01:47:39
senior in America to a four-year College
01:47:43
in the 1940s the Manhattan Project
01:47:45
produced the first true weapon of mass
01:47:48
destruction this program employed a
01:47:51
hundred and thirty thousand people at an
01:47:53
extreme Financial cost
01:47:55
imagine what our life would be like
01:47:57
today if that group of scientists
01:47:59
instead of working on a way of killing
01:48:02
people worked on a way to create a
01:48:05
self-sustaining abundant world
01:48:07
life today would be very very different
01:48:10
if that was their goal
01:48:13
instead of weapons of mass destruction
01:48:15
it is time to unleash something much
01:48:19
more powerful
01:48:20
Weapons of Mass creation
01:48:25
our true Divinity is in our ability to
01:48:27
create and armed with the understanding
01:48:29
of the symbiotic connections of Life
01:48:32
while being Guided by the emergent
01:48:34
nature of reality there is nothing we
01:48:37
cannot do or accomplish
01:48:40
of course we Face strong barriers in the
01:48:44
form of established power structures
01:48:46
that refuse to change
01:48:48
at the heart of these structures is the
01:48:50
monetary system as explained earlier the
01:48:52
fractional Reserve policy is a form of
01:48:55
slavery through debt where it is
01:48:57
literally impossible for society to be
01:48:59
free in turn free market capitalism in
01:49:02
the form of free trade uses debt to
01:49:05
imprison the world and manipulate
01:49:06
countries into subservience to a handful
01:49:09
of large business and political powers
01:49:12
apart from these obvious amoralities the
01:49:14
system itself is based on competition
01:49:16
which immediately destroys the
01:49:18
possibility of large-scale
01:49:20
collaborations for the common good hence
01:49:23
paralyzing any attempt at true Global
01:49:26
sustainability
01:49:29
these financial and corporate structures
01:49:31
are now Obsolete and they must be
01:49:34
outgrown
01:49:36
of course we cannot be naive enough to
01:49:38
think that the business and financial
01:49:39
lead are going to subscribe to this idea
01:49:41
but they will lose power and control
01:49:43
therefore peaceful yet highly strategic
01:49:45
action must be taken
01:49:48
the most powerful course of action is
01:49:50
simple we have to alter our Behavior to force
01:49:53
the power structure to the will of the
01:49:56
people
01:49:57
we must stop supporting the system
01:50:01
the only way the establishment will
01:50:03
change is by our refusal to participate
01:50:06
while continuously acknowledging its
01:50:08
endless flaws and Corruptions
01:50:11
they're not going to give up the
01:50:13
monetary system because of our designs
01:50:16
of what we'd recommend the system has to
01:50:19
fail and people have to lose confidence
01:50:22
in their elected leaders that will be a
01:50:25
major turning point if the Venus Project
01:50:28
is offered as a possible alternative if
01:50:32
not I fear the consequences the trends
01:50:35
now indicate that our country is going
01:50:39
bankrupt the probability is our country
01:50:42
will move toward a military dictatorship
01:50:45
to prevent riots and complete social
01:50:48
breakdown once the U.S breaks down all
01:50:52
the other cultures will undergo similar
01:50:54
things
01:50:55
as of now the world financial system is
01:50:58
on the brink of collapse due to its own
01:51:01
shortcomings the Comptroller of currency
01:51:03
stated in 2003 that the interest on the
01:51:06
U.S national debt will not be affordable
01:51:08
in less than 10 years this theoretically
01:51:11
means total bankruptcy for the U.S
01:51:13
economy and its implications for the
01:51:15
world are immense in turn the fractional
01:51:18
reserve-based monetary system is
01:51:20
reaching its theoretical limits of
01:51:22
expansion and the banking failures you
01:51:24
are seeing are just the beginning
01:51:27
this is why inflation is skyrocketing
01:51:29
all debt is at record levels and the
01:51:32
government and fed are hemorrhaging new
01:51:34
money to bail out the corrupt system
01:51:36
for the only way to keep the banks going
01:51:38
is by making more money the only way to
01:51:40
make more money is to create more debt
01:51:43
and inflation it is simply a matter of
01:51:45
time before the tables turn and there
01:51:48
was no one willing to take new loans
01:51:49
while defaults grow as people are unable
01:51:52
to afford their current loans then the
01:51:55
expansion of money will stop and
01:51:57
contraction will begin on a scale never
01:51:59
before seen ending a century-long
01:52:02
pyramid scheme this has already begun
01:52:07
therefore we need to expose this
01:52:09
financial failure for what it is using
01:52:11
this weakness to our advantage here are
01:52:14

Description:

Zeitgeist - Addendum - This film features former "economic sharpshooter" and successful New York Times writer John Perkins, and introduces the Venus Project, a social redesign organization. Zeitgeist - Addendum (2008) Director: Peter Joseph Writers: Peter Joseph Stars: Jacque Fresco, Roxanne Meadows, John Perkins Genre: Documentary, History, War Country: United States Language: English Also Known As: Zeitgeist - The Movie 2 Release Date: 2 October 2008 Duration: 123 min Storyline: Zeitgeist: Addendum attempts to locate the root causes of the pervasive social corruption, while also offering a solution. This solution is not based on politics, morality, laws, or any other "establishment" notions of human affairs, but rather on a modern, non-superstitious based understanding of what we are and how we align with nature, to which we are a part of. The work advocates a new social system which is updated to present day knowledge, highly influenced by the life long work of Jacque Fresco and The Venus Project. Reviews: "I admit that the main reason why I find this so much better than the original is because this one didn't focus on 911 conspiracy theories. It does briefly reference it, but it's in no way the main focus. I believe this is a very irrational belief that must stop. Anyway, this movie was divided into four parts, but it didn't seem to really talk about the same subjects in each. Well, the first part was certainly about money. I especially love this because of how hopeful it was near the end. I stand by the notion that it's hypocritical to say that religion is dumb while believing in conspiracy theories. Still, this film makes much better arguments. Aww, we get to hear that nice narrator's voice throughout the whole movie! The best part is probably when he's talking about money. It was great to have audio from Bill Hicks and George Carlin. They certainly support what the movie says. I was expecting them to say abandon religion at the end. Of course, they're probably implying that we should. Just remember Mr. Rogers. It's impossible for an awful ideology to make someone that good. I also like when it says that technology is the most tangible thing. This film supports few institutions and ideals. Food, location, and science are about the only "real things" that this film seems to praise. It does raise the question of how you'd build a tunnel for a train that fast. I'd think that would be pretty expensive. Well, I probably just need to do more research. With Donald Trump becoming President, we need to focus less on materialism than ever. Wait, isn't technology technically a material? I've never heard of a documentary film series before or even a documentary sequel. I thought Michael Moore was making one at one point.
