The world of miniature railways is extremely diverse and so fascinating that there's barely enough broadcast time to showcase all the layout treasures. True wonderlands are presented at the trade fairs in Munich, Paris, and Dortmund. Our first report is from the 2005 model railway exhibition in Paris. We're showing the layouts - 1930s Normandy in H0e by Michel Galpin. The tin toy layout of the Retr'o Club Senlis and the cardboard models of pre-Stevenson steam vehicles by Robert Gesuelli. From Dortmund 2005, we're showing the layout of the NL model railway team Paerebongerd Prengli - BVZ in H0m, where the Glacier Express runs through the village of Randa. On the layout of the N-Bahn Club Ortenau, steam is chugging along the Black Forest Railway. A highlight is the look back at the railway world 200 years ago, when one of the first steam locomotives could still be admired as a fairground attraction.
